Chancellor Hotel on Union Square

ユニオンスクエアの真ん中にあり、どこに行くにも便利です。また、コーヒーとクッキーが常に常備されている- ところも利用しやすくてよかったです＾＾

豪華さを期待すると、部屋の狭さにがっかりします。

The staff were great and helped out wherever they could (for example letting me have access to my room 3 hours before official check-in time, and they immediately gave me a late check out without making it seem like a huge effort). The bonus to staying at a small hotel as opposed to a large chain is that things are more personal and friendly, and the Chancellor is a perfect example of that. There was free Tea & Coffee 24 hours a day in reception, there is a computer with highspeed internet available for guests to use for free and all rooms have complimentary wifi connection. The hotel is in a perfect location but still has reasonable rates. I''d definitely stay here again.

My room seemed to be above a restaurant kitchen so smelt of greasy food (bacon especially), and as there's no a/c we had to keep the windows open. But I've stayed in hotels with much worse smells than this, so it isn't really a negative point, just a little niggle.

Location and availability of eating facilities around it

Failure of air conditioning/central ceiling fan. Wash hand basin plugs need to be able to hold water rather than leak it. Bath tubs need to be renewed as they are looking very tired.

The Chancellor Hotel is in a great location, next to Union Square. The cable car that runs by it goes all the way to Fisherman's Wharf. The staff were very helpful and made excellent restaurant suggestions (good food, not touristy). The rooms are comfortable (nice down comforters) and I enjoyed the view of Union Square from my room on the 8th floor. There is a wide variety of stores and boutiques around the hotel for those that are interested in shopping.

the staff were excellent. the hotel is well positioned for a stay in san francisco and reasonably priced in comparison with nearby hotels

very noisy at the front but i guess it's hot in the back rooms as they get the afternoon sun so you have to chose noise or heat! the coffee left out downstairs was very weak and not very hot.. we only tried it once.

Perfect location at Union Square. All forms of public transit is nearby making access to the entire city easy. On-site restaurant, free newspapers and coffee, friendly staff. All-round excellent choice for anyone wanting to explore San Francisco. I especially liked the $5.35 fare for the Bart train from the airport.

Small rooms, narrow steep stairs. A very european style which is fine, but a little inconvenient for a big guy to maneuver.

Die Lage direkt am Union Square und an der Cabel Car (in der Nähe ist auch die Wendeplatte Market St. und andere Bus- und U-Bahnverbindungen ) ist toll. Kaffee und Tee sind kostenlos den ganzen Tag über erhältlich und das Personal wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Die Zimmer (wir hatten 2) sind einer Weltstadt entsprechend in der Größe, verfügen aber über einen eigenen Abstell-Kleiderraum. Das gesamte Hotel wirkte gepflegt und sauber.

La posizione è eccellente, il personale cordiale. Convenzionato con una palestra super attrezzata. Vicinissimo a Union Square
