Location & Staff attitude
would have been a bonus to have the hot drinks facility in the Bedrooms
staff is good
rooms are small no value for money old building
Staff was extremely friendly, especially the concierge. The rooms are very well designed. Location is amazing.
A bit small room, but this is the case for many hotels in Manhattan.
Great location. Friendly staff. Room had everything you need and was to a high standard. Good price.
staff was very helpful and kind. the location was great near to subway 6 in park av 33 near 5 av Madison av you could go anywhere by foot if you like. it was everything you could expect from a hotel.
some of the rooms are too small.
Excellent staff First rate location near many cultural amenities. Very quiet although in midtown Excellent restaurant next door Nice meeting rooms and library
No breakfast in-house. Had to walk. Chairs in rooms were a bit uncomfortable.
Location, coffee and tea bar 24 hours in the lobby
our room was looking in the back so no view, there was a tapping sound from the wind outside our window
fresh design, constant flow of coffee in the lobby, simple and quick processes, friendly staff.
smallish gym, a little bit of hallway noise could be heard from my room overnight but not enough that I wouldn't go back because I will!
The staff was very friendly and even chatted with my daughter and I a bit. The room key card wouldn't work on original room, they had a room ready in only a few minutes with a great view. We got to check in a few hours earlier than the normal check in time.
Very welcoming. Staff excellent. Great spacious room and lovely amenities. Not one complaint!
Staff really helpful and gentle. Wifi is free and very fast. Room is very clean and confortable. Location is awesome! There's a subway station a block away (on Park Av.) and lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Amazing hotel, I totally recommend!
room setup, lobby
sofabed mattress not comfortable
Staff, room, location and rate.
Slow elevators but nice stairwell. All good
Loved our stay here mostly for the good location a short walk from the Empire State Building. Also staff were very helpful and friendly
Room was either too hot or with air conditioning too cold! Bed was hot and we asked for a lighter blanket we got another duvet. We mostly just slept under a sheet. The air conditioning was noisy too! It did not spoil our stay but we could have been more comfortable at night.
This is a stylish, quality boutique hotel at a reasonable room rate. A good location in the up-and-coming Nomad area close to two subway lines.
Reasonably priced New York hotel rooms are always tiny, but our room would have benefitted from a slight amount more space. We only had room to set up one suitcase on a luggage rack, and would have liked to have had room to set up two. (We booked a separate room for our teenage daughter.)
Well located close to Empire State Bldg and Koreatown. My wife and I arrived late and set out walking at 11p. Returned to the hotel about 2:30a, never felt unsafe.
good staff and location
AC is a monstertruck in size and sound. almost impossible to sleep with the AC on
Staff and accommodations were first-rate. Friendly, attentive service. Location is perfect.
Bathrooms were small with little to no counter space. Had to get creative.
Clean luxuriously decorated room with Molton Brown toiletries Fantastic central location Great hotel bar and communal areas
Room is well presented but is on the small side as you pay for the location
Staff was welcoming & professional/
Rooms tired & dated. Small but normal for NY. Bathroom large but shower poorly designed (you must be under the water to turn on/off).
Excellent helpful staff. Very central hotel in an easy to access area and . conventient to sites and shopping.
Not anything to view from our room.
The staff were very helpful
Rooms are very small, facing back of the builiding or a current construction. We tried three differents rooms and noone reached the expectations considering its price.
I very much liked the atmosphere with extremely friendly staff. The location is very good: mid-town New York gives opportunities for shopping, tourist attractions and anything you would want. The breakfast menu was perfect - in particular I loved the cappuccino and the omelette. Will check into to this hotel next time in N.Y.
It was too cold in the breakfast room - would recommend to slow it down. The nice little bar right by the entrance closed a bit too early - would like it to be open until midnight. I did not like that the curtains in the breakfast room blocked the view to the street - got a bit too dark.
Reception area, 24 hour tea and coffee available f.o.c in reception, size and comfort of bed
Room a bit small and awkward layout,no space at side of bed because of air conditioning unit, bathroom a bit dated and no space for personal items,
Beautiful hotel, fabulous staff, fine location, well appointed. Would love to stay there again.
Very loud construction across the street; ask for ear plugs or stay in the back of the hotel. Not the hotel's fault, but the construction is at times very loud and is going on for a long time.
