Really worthwhile choosing a river view room. Excellent location with very frequent $1 shuttle bus stop right outside. Staff not specially attentive. It was OK but ready for a refurb. |

Convience to tourist areas and several eateries at very reasonable price for DC. You cannot beat the view of the channel on a sunny morning. Common conviences like fully-stocked vending mechines were problematic. |

Breakfast every morning on the first floor, although it was a little pricey. Carpt in the room and hallway could use a shampooing as well as the furniture. Elevator was dirty too. It seems most hotels don't attend to this, which results is smelly, stained carpet and chairs. |

The location ... we went to see the cherry blossoms and were within walking distance to them. Also, the hotel allowed us to keep our car in their garage after we checked out. And we returned to our car approximately 5:00 p.m. The carpeting on our room was dirty We arrived approx. at 3:30 a.m and when we got to our room our bed looked like someone had been sleeping on it. We were told they could not give us a double bed, even though I had called earlier in the evening to guarantee a late arrival. They only had a queen size bed for us. and my friend and I had to share this bed which was not very comfortable. |

Ein Zimmerwechsel wurde auf Nachfrage gerne arrangiert. Die Lage am Kanal ist sehr angenehm, Bus hält vor der Haustür, Metrostation ist nur Minuten entfernt, ebenso ein Supermarkt. Museums-Meile ist auch gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Einige Zimmer haben wohl ein Geräusch-Problem mit der hauseigenen Klima-Anlage, deren kontinuierlicher Ton sicher über die Wände überträgt. Das war im zuerst angebotenen Zimmer extrem unangenehm. Das Alternativ-Zimmer war dann recht ruhig. |

１Fでもハーバー側の部屋の景色は悪くない。できれば２Fか3Fなら、多分申し分ないだろう。朝の散歩には心地よいロケーション。サーキュレーターという循環バスのバス停がホテル目の前。これと地下鉄を使えばダウンタウンエリアにも20～30分でいける。スミソニアン博物館群へは歩いても15分くらい。 ホテル前にタクシーが待機していなかったので、ダラス空港までのタクシーを頼んだが、５分もすれば戻ってくるといって、呼んでくれなかった。結局、1ブロック歩いて、車通りの多い道で自分で捕まえた。 |
