Offering easy access to Interstates 40 and 85 and located between the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University, this hotel offers modern amenities and comfortable...
Score from 102 reviews Very good
Convenient location with free Wi-Fi.
Nice, accommodating staff. Great location. Ease of registration.
Facility is outdated. My room seemed clean, but I found a dirty sock and 2 candy wrappers on the carpet. Overall motel security is lax and back of motel is dark and scary at night.
You have smoking rooms. Clean. Comfortable. Attached bar and grill.
Room wasn't ready when we arrived 30 minutes after check in time, but were given a complementary meal for the inconvenience.
The bed was excellent. Sleep like a dream.
The staff is really very nice and helpful. But be aware that rooms are not very warm in the Winter.
snacks, treats in lobby on valentine's day. complimentary coffee
no lotion in bathroom, should have included a complimentary breakfast, however, it was conveyed to me by others in our group that breakfast was not good.
no problems at all
The new manager and the desk clerk Sean were wonderful and to be commended for their courtesy and professionalism.
The heating system is noisy
Great atmosphere in bar, good location and very reasonably priced. Lively little spo!!
Rooms could do with a refresh in decor, but were clean and comfortable.
The room was clean and the front desk staff were helpful. It was quiet and convenient.
There are no elevators so you have to walk your bag up if on the 2nd floor. They didn't bring hair conditioner to the room until the last day. I asked at the front desk and they weren't able to help on that.
Great price for a comfortable night's stay.
I was resting & watch movies
This motel should add more cable channels
Very comfortable bed..... room was clean....A staff person... Shaun, was very helpful and friendly.... helped me reserve a room on the computer...
The only complaint, we had, was that the towels were kind of stiff and hard...not plush... and thick...
Upgrading for $10 a night should eliminate all the negatives mentioned in other reviews. Still remains a relative bargain.
The lobby area was adorable and so cute. I love the tar heels so that is why I picked this place.
The room itself however was look like a motel 6 room. I wouldst pay $75 for that room so im glad I got a discount.
We liked that it was about five minutes away from UNC's campus, and it was easy to get back and forth from campus.
Smelled terrible. Run down. Bugs behind the bed.
The location is great and very clean and comfortable.
The room was for up to 4 people, but there were only 2 washcloths & 3 bath towels, I was a little confused about that.
The entire staff was very helpful and friendly..Kutos to the young lady hosting the breakfast in 215.
very clean good location
this should be classified as a motel, not inn. Not friendly staff, old rooms. not happy at all. door let in a cold, cold draft. would not stay or recommend again
The hotel was good for the price and location.
Would have liked for the bathrooms to have been cleaner and the water pressure in the showers to have been stronger.
Value for money; friendliness of staff.
I had understood that the Inn was much closer to UNC campus than it actually was - we went to Chapel Hill for our daughter to visit UNC, to which she was planning to apply. The plus is that they run a shuttle bus there, the minus is that if you want to go into Chapel Hill itself or to the campus at times convenient to you, you need a car and I think it would be very useful to specify that for overseas visitors. The staff aren't used to being asked anything about Durham or Raleigh, I think many people who stay there are there for the football and know the area.
Location was excellent
I had no hot water my first morning there, the coffee machine was broken and never replaced, (although I reported it the first day), and I killed a cockroach crawling on the bedspread, the size of my Aunt Irma. I complained about all of these problems and was only given a $20 compensation. I will not be returning, nor would I recommend this facility.
Good value for your money. It was clean and the staff was friendly.
