Low toilet and the fact the handicap room was not friendly to enter.

Liked location, room clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the facilities was reasonable and satisfactory.

We checked in late and found the room to the adjoining room could not be locked. The front desk sent the Maintenance man to secure the door. He was unable to correct. While the front desk was trying to find us another motel room availablel, University Inn was full, my daughter figured out the problem and secured the door. This room should have been checked before we entered. An unsecure lock is a major safety factor.

Free Wifi and shuttle to town, close to shops, on bus route, helpful staff, must be fun during game season.

Walls were thin so you heard everything outside which made it hard to sleep, sometimes housekeeping came very early, breakfast not included.

Affordable

Ants and people outside were loud when we arrived front desk girl was rude saying we were to early for our room. I knew we were early . she needed better customer service skills and when we checked out front desk gentleman didn't ask us how we liked our stay. I guess they knew there were ants in the room and didn't want to hear it.

Clean and reasonably priced. A decent variety of shops and restaurants in the vicinity. Free parking and Internet. Great value for money.

Older facility and decor, lack of travel-size amenities (lotion, shampoo/conditioner, etc.)

clerk when I arrived who gave me a run around about room not ready at nearly 4 pm -- after a 10 hour drive - I had to leave and go uptown instead of checking in - and he barely said a word when I checked out - needs some interpersonal skill training,

Convenient location and price

The days were cold and rainy and the room was so warm and inviting. All the necessities were there for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We also enjoyed the sports bar where the food was excellent. Staff were friendly.

Inexpensive, clean rooms and a great central location close to UNC Chapel Hill. Big, comfortable King sized bed and a well spaced with a nice comfy chair. Refrigerator and microwave were also helpful.

Old TV with all the lettering worn off the buttons. Heat/AC had an on/off switch instead of a thermostat which made it difficult to set a comfortable temperature.

The overall appearance of the hotel ..all of the Unc memorabilia was fantastic from the moment we step out of our vehicle into the lobby was just great .You knew you were truely at a place That embraced the Unc culture!!

Staff is friendly and accommodating. Allowed me to pay for extended check out time.

Parking on Saturday night was difficult due to the function being held at the bar/restaurant.

The rooms were very clean and everything like the comforter and drapes were kept up and new. Also the bathroom had everything you needed. Keep up the good work.

Proximity to Cancer Hospital, price, comfortable beds, large rooms.

TV was not good at all.

Near UNC Hospital,restaurants shopping,and on Fordam Dr. also a great place to stay and relax.

It was very clean bed was comfortable and the stay was excellent I would recommend my friends to stay. It was worth the money I felt at home i would stay all over again.

Stuck w/a smoking room w/no option to chg rooms. Staff attitude was cavalier - stating "that's all we have left." Reservations were made a week in advance. Bedding smelled like smoke.

Room was very clean and office staff were very helpful.

In room menu for Time Out delivery, but it was not open for dine in breakfast. I would have liked to have been able to eat there.

Price and the chocolates.

Very small exercise room, but it was great to have one. I used it all 4 days. Also, our key cards had to be reset each night when we returned to the hotel.

It was very close and convenient to downtown. Great location!!! There is also a great restaurant and bar attached to the hotel. Also, it was very affordable.

Quiet good sleep.

A coarse sheet was placed beneath the soft comforter, so one should probably take the time to re-make the bed.

When i am in chapel hill i always stay at chapel hill inn

Room was large and clean. It was functional and budget-wise.

The heater was noisy and blew out excessive hot air. So, we just turned it on periodically.
