    Everyone at your hotel made sure our family was comfortable and was great about everything we needed. You should add a category for " schools" as opposed to just business or leisure as we stayed there to visit surrounding colleges. If my daughter gets in to Chapel Hill you can bet this is where I'll be staying in the future- while an update would be nice your staff makes up for it :)

    Your rooms and bathrooms could use a fresh update

    Comfortable rooms and bed, good service, and they accommodated our need not to use stairs with no problem.

    The air ventilation system needs to be cleaned to get rid of the musty smell that's especially noticeable in the lobby. Once that's gone, this will be a terrific value.

    Location to UNC is fantastic.

    Very inexpensive and fine for a quick overnight stop. Convenient for UNC and shops.

    Room smelled of cigarette smoke.

    - location - shopping in walking distance, incl. groceries - friendly staff - interesting atmosphere (UNC related) - probably a great place during sports seasons (college fb / basketball)

    - was given the wrong room first, both smelled a bit funky - fairly loud, possibly due to some of the clientele that were there at the time - no complimentary breakfast, just a few bagels or toast would have been nice. - TV reception / quality was extremely poor - wifi: needed to log on anew every day

    Chapel Hill Inn is older hotel but well maintain and service was great. Staff very friendly - had room ready for us late checkin. We will stay there in the future.

    AC- could be a little bit stronger to while to cool room.

    Air did not work..loud...dirty..wreaked of smoke...stayed two nites...beds made..nothing else touched...trash left in room...no toiletries replaced...took towels and did not replace...poor stay. Only would recommend to my enemy.

    Loved the location, interior design and options the room offered.

    We were very disappointed when room service didn't show up at all that day. My husband had to call for towels to be delivered.

    Proximity to UNC and shops.

    Front office staff was downright moody and unable to smile. We did not feel welcome at all. We are convinced there were bedbugs as in the morning we have bites all over our legs.

    The property was attractive and well landscaped and thus pleasant to be outside. Although an older motel, the rooms appeared updated and clean with comfortable beds. TV was satellite so images on some channels were fuzzy. We were there to attend a funeral, which was just down the road from the motel, so the location was perfect.

    Two things. There is a $7 charge for breakfast, which from the description was no different than any other free motel breakfast. We did not partake. There is a bagel place and a Paneras across the street in the mall as a nearby alternative. Also a Trader Joe's. Two. The restaurant is not particularly good, mostly sports bar items. We had some wings which were very salty and no wing sauce.

    I was traveling with my daughter dropping her off at UNC summer program before 10am. The staff allowed me to checkin to my room early so I can get rest from doing 6 hour drive.

    Difficult to find......poor signage

    There needs to be a rating below "Poor" because this experience was way below that. This was, by far, the WORST hotel experience of my life. First, there were ants in my room on the second floor. I actually killed one and took it to show the staff at the front desk. Get this, when I called to report the ants, Kirsten's (at the front desk)response was "Yeah." That is priceless!!! and a foreshowing to the rest of my experience. So, on check out day, I go to the front desk and give the dead ant on a towel (poor thing didn't have to perish if not for their incompetency) to Tiffany at the front desk. Tiffany said nothing about the dead ant-Hello! Here is where anybody with half a brain would APOLOGIZE for this additional guest. Things get better. Tiffany proceeds to give me an adjustment for the ant, but, tells me my card that I used to book the reservation online with shows "insufficient debit activity." Bear in mind, she has no idea what this means and does not explain it to me because how can she if she has no clue herself (this will turn out to the domimant theme with this hotel). So, like any traveler with half a brain, this means that since the 'brilliant' Tiffany could not do a thing with this card, I needed to give her another card. I then give her another card. Now, get this, it takes her some 25 minutes to check me out! The whole time she has embarrassed me by telling me that my first card was no good and forcing me to give her a second card. Additionally, behind me are people who, like me, are wanting to check out and she continues to keep them waiting. One lady actually spoke up and asked "Is there anybody else here who can help me because we are in a rush and need to check out." So, 25 minutes later, I finally check out. Now, I'm a savy traveler and keep an eye on my money.

    Very large, comfortable king room. Very fast check-in. Great price.

    Internet was not so great for some reason. Ended up using my husband's hotspot.

    Do not stay!!!! Ant infested!!!! I had a drink on the night table, drinking it several times to ease my dry throat through the night not realizing it was covered in in black ants!!! NASTY!!! I gag every time I think about it!!!!
