2nd floor rooms are above the bar/restaurant so it can be a bit noisy. Ask for a room on upper levels.
The location is perfect for wandering Back Bay!
Room was small but comfortable and well appointed.
he A/C was so loud that I couldn't hear the TV, even in the tiny room. Starting at 3:15 AM and continuing through the early hours, there were delivery and garbage trucks in and out of the alley behind the hotel, right under my room. Not a place to be if you want rest.
Continental breakfast is bad at best, but everything else makes up for it. Dunkin is a block away though :)
Great neighborhood, great price, bar downstairs and steps from everything. Rooms are newly remodeled, great comfy bed, a little small but perfect for a short stay in a very clean place.
Unique boutique hotel in fabulous central location. Clean, well- done decor; only complaint was the bed was hard, but the hotel has a great vibe!
Room size, bed size and breakfast.
Location is very good
Best hotel I've ever booked. Very efficient, small, cozy, but have everything you need. Very high tech, loved the surround system in the room, especially when you have to call it a night early because of the kid.
staff was very friendly and accommodating, hotel perfectly located for travelers
excellent location nice staff small but comfortable rooms good bar with their own cocktails
Limited breakfast but free so happy.
Nothing to dislike awesome stay
Really liked the modern feel to the place ! Nice looking spot, so I kinda look like a bum when I travel so not to attract crime or Theves . And I usually travel around walking and exploring so I travel light aka bum looking ... the staff was very friendly to me . The room was awesome nice touches classical music playing & after a shower and some music I was rejuvenated and went to the bar an had great conversation really a good memory to my trip I'd defiantly stay here again & like the small hotel appeal . Great stay .
Room does not have a desk/table so a little bit harder to do computer work.
most important is location! Subway station just a few feet away from hotel, and t system is so easy to use in Boston. Drop off and pickup for the airport shuttle provided by mass transport is just across from hotel. Hotel being in Copley has everything so close by-- Restaurants, convenience stores, high end department stores, grocery store, fast food in prudential center. So many things to do. Hotel room is not big, but just right. Bed is comfortable, bathroom is clean. No noise from other rooms. Small refrigerator, DVD player. Microwave in 1st floor (actually basement of building). Front desk staff friendly and helpful!!!
breakfast absolutely nothing
the centre where is located
Can't beat the location regarding its proximity to the T and Newbury St. shopping
Avoid the smallest room. It was cold (myfriend on a second stay). The lounge is not very comfortable. The coffee is not great.
The room is small clean and had everything we needed. There is a slight Ikea quality to some furniture but overall this may be a plus. Location is fabulous. All other usual amenities are for people who travel very little. The tv has a pandora like classical music feed for free. Restaurants all around. Boston is a great place. Not a luxury property but a perfect hotel for a weekend. Strong on essentials weak on fluff - very good.
The window issue
The bar and location. Extremely comfortable pillows
The only minor complaint I have is the drinks at the bar aren't all that great.
The hotel is right in the heart of a bunch of cool shops and restaurants. The staff is great.
Location location ! Easy Check in And our
nothing negative to say.
Great location. Walking distance to just about everything. Great restaurants and shopping. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I did not mind the small rooms, very clean and up to date. Can't beat the price. Everywhere else was too expensive.
Rooms, staff, breakfast, location were all great.
The parking garage was farther than we thought, was inconvenient but realize its a city and parking is always difficult. I would of liked valet service and would of paid more happily for it.
Yes it's small put clearly stated and really set up well. Was very fresh and updated not to mention clean. Would defiantly stay here again on our next visit. The staff in the evening was very efficient and helpful.
Not being given stated discount on website
Not the hotel's fault, but I was woken by noisy upstairs guests at 2am Friday night, who seemed to be moving all their furniture around (much crashing and banging) at some length. I complained and it all went quiet after 10 minutes, but the rooms are not soundproofed. Why are some people so inconsiderate?
The location is excellent, right in the heart of Back Bay, next to Copley Square T stop and a block from trendy Newbury St. Decor is smart, tasteful, and modern, with all amenities I wanted, including fridge! Staff are helpful; all good value and included nice continental breakfast.
Had coffee with toasted bagels one morning for breakfast, next morning was informed the toaster wasn't allowed to be used! What as that all about?
5 minutes from Back Bay stn and directly across the street from the airport bus (free if you had a used metro ticket). Quirky with food delivered From the Thai restaurant next door! Overall very positive and would go back.
Courteous and helpful staff! Excellent location. Close to prudential and shopping. Highly recommend
