Room was clean, smoke free and was close to where I was working.
Price was under $60 Staff tried to meet our needs
Room was very warm. Not all bedding was on the bed. Not much for Breakfast.
my first check then to be handicapped that room was very horrible but the rooms on the third floor are very beautiful and wish I would have stayed there the first the staff very nice day accommodated me very well and I will recommend this hotel anyone you looking but I recommend the third floor but I recommend the third floor
didn't enjoy the outside roomI really personally think they need to be remodeled
The on duty staff did attempt to accommodate by changing rooms - assuming this was an upgrade, it was not. Security did try to assure me that I did not have to worry about any trouble despite the area and patrons On-site manager Lei -Lani (sp) Reached out to owner/manager, a Ms. Barti Patel to request a refund and was immediately told NO that's not our policy! I did not stay; left after 40 minutes.
I was traveling with 4 preteen boys for overnight birthday trip for D&B's and shopping. I was a bit stunned to say the least. I went for discount on Booking.com instead since it was just rugged boys and we would spend less time in the room than the pool, shopping, etc... never again will I make that mistake. I should have spent the extra $75 and stayed at the Hyatt and earned points. When we arrived I waited 8 minutes - yes 8 minutes while other employees (I assume)passed through without so much as a greeting before someone came up to the desk; after retrieving a guests stolen purse from another patron that she had to chase down the street. Ridiculous at best but even worse was that she shared that with me with me. I was more concerned that this type of occurrence is common either to her, the hotel, the area or all three. Blood splatter on a picture above bed, water hard to control, free internet would not work, wkly/mntly rate motel, people lying in beds with the room doors open?! Horrible. Parking area overrun in some spots with grass and weeds, nothing in the "onsite store", no towels, furniture dated and in poor condition, hard to tell some staff from guest. The owner/manager refused to give me any type of refund even knowing that I did not stay and why, refused to return my phone calls. This particular motel is less than stellar and fails miserably in management, customer service/satisfaction, business practices and providing suitable accommodations which are contrary to what's provided in there site description. I have never experienced anything like this before with a stay at any establishment nor will I ever again. The boys were disappointed that we did not stay overnight but by the time we left Regal Inn it was already late - 4:30, and finding a hotel that could accommodate us for less than $180 at the last minute was near impossible.
Not a thing
Room- Floors filth, cigarette packs and other trash behind the night stand, sheets were dirty, we were afraid there were bed bugs, could not wait to leave. Continental breakfast, nothing there except bread, dry cereal and half thawed out frozen O.J. Coffee not started until after 630 AM.
Close to pnc music theater.
Breakfast was a joke we had to tell the guy there was nothing there and watch him set up a few things from the fridge he had. Kinda sketchy overall.
The pool, the Wifi, the rooms, and the beds were all a plus.
However, upon checking in they clearly spoke poor English and it was a very daunting task to get checked in. Later that night when were supposed to go to sleep it was so loud outside from music and people yelling we couldn't sleep! Also, for what was supposed to be non-smoking all I could smell was smoke filling up the room and it was awful! Also, the breakfast was cereal and frozen waffles.... Now, what made me the most mad was when we asked for towels before we left and the owner said to use the dirty ones again? (The maid took those and left us only 1 (there were three of us.)) He said, " here's two, that's all you're getting."
Dirty, poor A/C that rattled all night long, free breakfast was awful.
Night-time staff was really nice
The whole hotel stayed miserably hot. We had to switch room because the air-conditioner had the whole floor soaked in our first room. The sheets had blood on them, didn't look like they had even been washed. There was only one towel and one rag in the room when we booked it for four people. Rough Neighborhood. Not the cleanest rooms or hotel.
Place to lay my head
Ac not working, bi transport to airport. Computer not working. The three floor Celling falling down in hall way, rug wet bucket across the floor to catch water from ac
THE HOTEL HAD NO TOWELS IN THE ROOM, WHEN I ASKED FOR SOME, WAS TOLD THEY WERE LOCKED UP AND WOULD HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL 5 AM. THE STAFF WAS RUDE AND VERY UNFRIENDLY. HOTEL WAS NOT CLEAN NO A HAPPY GUEST !!!!
My non - smoking room smelled like smoke. Towles were stained. Carpet was nasty. Curtain was hanging off I had to drape it over the door hinge to keep the window covered
In the transition from Ramada to Regal, the hotel information was not properly changed. When I booked, I thought I was getting a pet-friendly hotel which was Ramada's policy, when I got there at 10p I had to pay $25 for my 10lb dog, despite showing them that I had clicked on the pet-friendly box and their hotel appeared. Costumer is not always right, I guess, but this hotel clearly needed the money... breakfast was also inedible.
Location and cleanliness
No iron, had to go get iron from front desk, but that iron was broke and leaking, went to get another iron, but that iron didn't work at all when I plugged it up, so I gave up. The telephone was broke in room, didn't have any buttons on it at all.
The location was nice.
The rooms looked nothing like the pictures when I googled the hotel. The comforters were dirty and had cigarette burned holes throughout. I would change the pictures to match what the rooms really look like before you get sued for false advertisement. The cleaning service was terrible. My sister had to keep going to the front desk because they only changed one bed and left no clean towels and washcloths.
The place is nice, nice area, pool.
There wasn't any towels in room, we were there for two night no towels provided we have to go ask for it. Breakfast not that good.!
Location and price.
The air condition was broken so it was a hot night on the 3rd floor. Pool not usuable.
It was affordable.
The staff was not very friendly. Only two towels were provided for four people and I had to have a debate with the staff to get two more towels before 10:00am. The beds were extremely small. Not the double beds I am used to having when traveling.
The girl working the night shift was as helpful as she could be. She did not have access to clean towels, sheets, or even bathroom tissue. She said it was locked up and we would have to wait until 4 am. When I said we would leave, she moved us from the first floor to the third floor.
There were noisy people hanging out in the parking lot. The room was not clean and sheets had hair on them! When we complained and moved to the third floor (where we were told "the good rooms" were) there was no one else on the third floor, there was no air conditioning in the hallway, the air in the room was off so it was not all night, and while the sheets were clean, the carpet and bedspread were badly stained. It was not a good experience at all! I do not recommend this hotel at all!
Nothing. The place was disgusting and I wish I could talk to a manager. Waste of my money.
Everything. The bathroom was disgusting and there was cigarette burnholes everywhere and I had a "non smoking" room. I couldn't even walk without shoes on the floor was so gross and I smelled of dirt and weed everywhere.
The locks on the door.
The bad neighborhood, the AC not working, the broken floor on the shower. The lack of food at breakfast.
The wi-fi was good. The bed was comfortable.
When I booked the room, it was advertised as a Ramada, when I get there, it was a Regal. There was no fridge in the room. The AC was unusually loud. The only ice machine was located on the 1st floor, not on each floor. The bathroom was just big enough for one person. When I visit Charlotte for another race weekend, I will not be staying here.
The price was good.
The room was dirty very dirty. The staff was rude.
