Extremely nice and friendly staff...Great amenities...comfortable room
This establishment is good for business or couple travels...I did not feel as though they were tailored for families at all.
The view was great and the bed was wonderful. It was nice & quite !! Since it was my husband's birthday & our anniversary it made our trip.
Loved the location right by Forest Park and in the upscale neighborhood but with convenient access to downtown.
good location, staff attentive, beautiful facility.
Very clean. Helpful staff. Huge room, but tiny bathroom.
A/C did not work the first night. Was miserable. There were not enough accomodations at the pool. Kids wanted to swim so we went down, there were no seats available, people were sitting and laying on towels on the cement. The coffee being sold at the breakfast bar was undrinkable. The employee tried to make a latte twice, we gave up and walked to the coffee shop down the road. She still charged me for it! Would recommend for adult stay, not with young kids.
Need a suttle to busch stadium
Pool, Cafe Eau, gym, lobby, location, restaurants in the neighborhood, pretty much everything. We had a great weekend!!!
Size of room. We've stayed at the Chase quite a few times, this was the smallest room we've ever had. The room wasn't very clean either, particularly the bathroom.
Was not impressed with food or wait staff. Everything else was great
Location is amazing room very nice and comfortable
Did not re-stock coffee Although there was a list of minibar products - they were nowhere to be seen A little noisy
This place was perfect!!!
The pool was too loud for us to enjoy a little romance. It looked beautiful but no place to sit in the pool.
I specified, when I booked, that it was our 1st wedding anniversary, and needed a king size bed, but they gave away our room. They then tried to "upgrade" us to a queen bed suite. I calmly explained to the counter personnel the circumstances and, magically, there was a king bed available...on the "top floor" (Floor 9 of 11)?... This was an older room than I have stayed in before. Carpet was torn, and wallpaper in bathroom was peeling. Not as quality of a stay as I had experienced before. Also, they charged $18 for parking? That's a little ridiculous to gouge hotel guests for parking....
Nice rooms and outlook
After hours I left, my credit card was charged 10 dollars. I asked for the details, and for the first time they sent a list, but when I asked for the questionable item, that was charged after I left, they did not answer to my e-mails (3 mails, no answer) and did not withdraw the charge.
Everything seemed sooo nice! I really loved how the staff treated us while we stayed!
We did put in a special request, and after talking to staff they said they'd be able to do it - no problem - and would arrange it for us while we were at dinner, however, that never happened. However, it was a special request.
Price was a little steep
It was nice and clean.
Not family friendly. Wouldnt go back with small kids.
We loved our dinner in th Tenderloin Room
we love the chase. We discovered it after the four seasons was booked and we wanted to get away. It's like Olivia Popes house on Scandal. Lots of molding and classy. I like the lay out with a seperate living area from the bed room. Great for having guests. It has a great bar that rocks on weekends. Cafe oui. In a block from central west end strip. Which is bars and restaurants lots of out side seating. Even has people Monday through Thursday. The loby is amazing and it since it's a very old hotel but updated it has a charm from the last. Only thing we had was the hot water was like warm. A simple fix. But if you come to STL it's a cleaner safer option than down town. Right next to forest park. Which is really cool. But if in at Louis we had the most fun seeing a group called. The Jumin Jupiter. A kind of burlesque influenced variety show for adults but there is no nacked people just Arial performers fire dancing. The best troups we have seen in the country.
The water was not that hot. Hey sounds picky but I was chilly.
I like the convince of the hotel to the expressway and I liked that it was a bit away from downtown. I was very pleased the front desk clerk offered me an up-grade to my room. With my visit being in spring, we were unable to use the pool or the outdoor deck. I will consider the Chase Park Plaza Hotel in my future visits to the St. Louis area.
I did not like the fact that I had to pay to park in a parking garage that the hotel provided for it's guests. The guests of the hotel should not have to pay to park. Also, while looking on the hotel web site, there was nothing that stated that I had to pay to park in a parking garage. Had I known, I would have allowed for the extra money in my budget for the trip.
Convenient location. Excellent service.
The balcony was a nice touch.
The room was a bit small for double beds.
I liked that when my reservation was messed up it was fixed quickly.
I din't like that there was still hair in my bathroom sink from where someone had shaved. There were also candy wrappers on the floor. Made me wonder if it was even cleaned.
This hotel is a real gem. A unique experience, not many hotels have a cinema complex located in the lobby! The rooms are huge! The whole complex is wonderful and has that old world charm with all the modern day necessities. Excellent restaurants and bars on site also. Very friendly staff, the doormen are so helpful and friendly as is the housekeeping staff.
staff , great, had something for everyone..live music in lobby was nice...
the rooms needed to be cleaned better...carpets, and upholstery looking worn.
Staff and room
Nice looking hotel, great location in Central West End
Popcorn smell in the lobby.
