I found the staff to be unfriendly and unhelpful. We ordered breakfast each morning and never got it one time but hung our order on the door each night like we were told but never got it and when I told them their response was "sorry but next time you come we will give you double" nice place just need nicer staff It was close to everything and very nice

We arrived at 9am and were not suppose to check in until 2pm. They still took our car and valet parked it in a secure parking lot with no extra cost. The location of the hotel is by far the best. We walked around the French quarter and were able to go back to the hotel if we needed to use the bathroom or just take a breather. It was in a perfect spot. Two minute walk to Jackson square and two minute walk to the French market. It had a nice old world feel. It has actual room keys!!! Which my wife and I couldn't get over. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in an hour early with no extra cost. I couldn't stress enough about the location. It was simply amazing. The hotel was old but the location makes up for it. The room was very muggy. The staff turned off the air between guests to save money and gave the room a very humid feeling. It took the a/c awhile to get it back comfortable. With old buildings it is to be expected but it still took awhile for hot water to reach our shower.

Great location just a couple of blocks from all the main sites in the French Quarter. I really liked the ambiance, set off by the nice courtyard. Parking! No bar or restaurant (but continental-style breakfast taken in room or courtyard was adequate).

Location is awesome! Staff were wonderful! Great little courtyard. Old and tired facilities but spent little time in the room so it wasn't a big deal.

I liked the location and it was what could be expected for $100/night. Not very homey. A bit bare.

The hotel had a lot of character, felt like it had been there for a long time and had a lot of charm to it. It was very unique and unlike a stay at a generic Holiday Inn, Mariott, etc. If I could get the same rate there I would probably stay in the same place. The location could not be more perfect.

Great location, very comfy bed, lovely courtyard to relax in. Some rooms have no windows and this is not made known when booking. Our friends were allocated one but were moved when requested luckily a room with a window was available.

The room, staff and location were excellent. Everyone was exceptionally polite and the hotel is charming. It is quaint and oozes that New Orleans charm without the dirt and grime. I highly recommend this hotel and have vowed to return on my next trip to NOLA. Absolutely nothing.

The location was excellent and the lady at the front desk very helpful. It was nice to have the car parked and not have to worry about it.The car was ready for us at 6 in the morning. The breakfast was poor. Opening your curtains to find workmen sitting at your table having their breakfast was not good.People shouting to each other in the courtyard at 2 am was also poor.

The convenient location to the French Quarter. In room 11, the shower divert-er is broken, so the water comes out at both the tub area and shower head at the same time. Because of this, the tub fills with a half foot of water during a quick shower.

I liked that it was an older building, with a balcony and french doors. The location is excellent...we walked everywhere. We liked the large, comfortable bed. Everything was as expected - we liked everything!
