Location near Jackson Square
Room size, bathroom not vented and very small with no shelfs or storage. TV was a computer monitor. Security was a concern could not lock room door.
Location was perfect, service was very good.
Shoer and phone in the room did not work properly.
Hotel could be very cute and cosy IF REMODELED AND CLEAN!!!
Location was nice.
Staff, location, character,
the steps up to the restroom an showers
The location was very good
We stayed at an older townhouse across the street from the hotel; a little noisy from the street and our neighbors upstairs, but okay.
Great location. Bed comfortable.
We had no hot water for a shower. We had to get up at 7 to get a shower. Every person at the desk over several days was either rude or completely unconcerned about any issue.
Light coming in at night. No thermostat for heat, no ventailation in bathroom, mold in bathroom, musty, not very clean, shower got very hot during shower without warning, not enough lights.
Had balcony room 2 years ago and it was great!
The room go got this year was small and their is an on and off switch for air. It was set on heat and even with the switch off be burned up. they gave us a box fan but still hot. Get a balcony room.
Location was good
Room was terrible, no heating, no hot water and paper thin walls. Perhaps the rest of the hotel is okay, but the 2 rooms that face the street are terrible
Location and proximity to the French Quarter!
Window on street side can be noisy, especially on the weekend.
We loved the location. We had a great time exploring the French Quarter. Dan at the front desk was the perfect host, giving us great directions and info. We will definitely be going back.
Location was perfect (and safe) in the heart of the French Quarter. It felt very authentic and true to the area.
As its in the heart of the French Quarter, it's old. It's also not very insulated as we could hear everything going on around us (construction going on in the next room sounded like it was in ours). Every time I used my hair dryer a circuit blew and we were standing in the dark. The drain in the shower did not work well and the whole room was not super clean. Also, the very stained ceiling tiles in the bathroom were falling down and you could see into the crawl space above which was a little creepy. Overall great location and price... We really just used the room to sleep and bathe but you're in a great city so why spend the whole trip in your room anyway?
The people in the front desk were awesome. Room service person was always on time and smiling. The common area of the hotel is pretty.
The room I had was located in an awful aisle, where the cleaning storage was. My room did not have any windows, and it was very expensive $305 per night. Somebody broke into one of the rooms one night, breaking the door glass.
The hotel is in a great location plus there is parking available for a small extra fee. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The courtyard was beautiful and peaceful. Continental breakfast was included and that came in handy because eating out is very expensive. I would definitely Recommend this place!
Terrible hotel,reasons stated above.
Location and service of staff. Pool & patio were beautiful. Free continental breakfast was fine to start our day, always delivered at requested time.
Room was quite small.
We like the vintage style hotel and how everything was walking distance
The only thing we didn't like was that at night we could all the street noise but , hey! it was Mardi Gras weekend so its to be expected lol
Location - close to french market, bourbon, & a short walk to downtown
Cleanliness/ maintenance - clean the baseboards, minor issues with aesthetics
Beautiful grounds and location. This hotel has potential.
We could hear everything that went on in the rooms surrounding us. Our room was changed due to very inappropriate and scary activities taking place in the room next to ours. The people working at the front desk barely made eye contact and were not helpful.
breakfast was too small only consisting of one sheet of bread, so it lokemore like a snacktnan a breakfast.
Location was great staff was great
Just the price it was alot wanted to stay longer but couldn't justify
I liked the location! The staff was accommodating and friendly! Beautiful garden and pool area!
Location in French Quarter
Room not clean, bed very uncomfortable for 2 days and after was change mattress ok, needs rénovations because there is rust and stain bathtub. Not even a hock to hang something in the bathroom. Also Noisy but maybe because of the time near Mardi Gras célébrations.
