I liked that it was close to my sons house. and the price was very reasonable!
that the room was small, the tub had three cracks in it so I feared the water leaking underneath, the coffee pot did not work and the office door was locked so there was no way to get a coffee pot that worked.
This is a good economical place to stay the night when you are visiting the Berkshires.
We stayed in the queen suite, arriving on a riany night. The dark unlit stairway to the separate entrance was a bit disconcerting as was the old fashioned easily copied door key. The furniture reminded me of my young days when when I had a mis of used furniture that didnt match but served its prupose.
The lodge and room was just what we needed. Right location, not over decorated, very clean.
Wifi needs stronger reception.
The location is great and the view is terrific. The bed was very good! Much better than most mom and pop motels. That makes up for a great deal!
No one came to answer me when I went to the office at 9:00 pm. I rang the bell four times and waited for quite a while before giving up. No information in the room. TV channels, where to find ice. For the price, the facility is just a bit off
Good location, nice view, clean and comfortable room
Terrible sound proofing. People upstairs sounded like herd of elephants.
Convenient, quiet location to Chatham and Hudson. Has cable TV without premium channels. Clean and well kept. Had small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.
Soda machine was not plugged in. Towels were thin and skimpy and the heat lamp in bathroom was not working. Styrofoam cups provided for coffee.
pretty from the outside with balcony and hanging baskets of flowers
older, but clean. Beds and pillows were hard
The view and quiet location. Manager assisted when I needed help.
For the money, I have no complaints.
convenience. the location was easy to find. the mattress was new and very comfortable. New ac unit was quiet.
bathroom vanity, faucets need updating. Stairway up to rooms was not very clean.
Location convenient on a planned trip.
Strong smell in the room.
Value. Accommodations were comfortable and quiet.
Lone elderly woman traveling by myself. The rest of the clientele were construction men on long term stays.
Good rural location. It was the only thing affordable in the area. Nice refrigerator/freezer. Nice view out the second level.
very old beds, old dingy carpet, and the knobs on the AC unit just spun around, so you could not adjust coolness... you had to UNPLUG it to turn it off. Had to climb up dangerous wooden stairs with our suitcases, to our room on the second level. Needs an infusion of money for updating.
Good value Free, excellent wi-fi reception Good air conditioning Comfortable bed
Tired, aged facility Lack of privacy - circulation goes past unit windows Bathroom needs remodeling
Great location, not fancy at all but clean.
Room was clean.
Walls were paper thin. Furniture was not comfortable.
Clean room. Location was good. Quiet to sleep.
Window in room was broken so could not open.
Moderately priced, clean, great location for travelers on Taconic Parkway. Nothing fancy but we were comfortable.
Charming older motel building on the top of a hill, festooned with flowers in hanging baskets. Friendly staff. The renovated Queen bedroom was nice.
There was a mixup with our reservation (someone at another motel picks up the reservations from Booking.com and faxes them to this property). As a result, we could only get one room with two queen beds when we had requested two. The second room they gave us was much older, unrenovated, with only one queen bed, one bedside table, and a tiny tv. Older bathroom with a sink that basically didn't drain at all. This was disappointing as it was not what we had booked. Manager gave us a very small (maybe $5) discount. Also there was a large group of men hanging out by the vending machine downstairs who made a lot of noise from the time we arrived till well past bedtime.
Price, accessibility to highway, quiet, microwave and refrigerator in room.
The mattress was hard and uncomfortable, the toilet was slow in flushing
fresh paint outside, beautiful hanging baskets of flowers, nice setting
toilet knob had to be held down to flush, would have cost extra for a third person, smelly room, not much sound proofing, no breakfast, no food nearby, water went out for hours
They are convenient to the road. Quiet and adequate facilities and space. Great that they called me when they were closing the office at 11 Nd I wasn't going to arrive until after midnight. They made great arrangements with me on the phone
Price is high considering overall quality, but there is no competition. Website should indicate office hours when booking
I liked the location.
It's in dire need of renovation.
Comfortable bed. Pretty good value. Get what you paid for I guess. Adequate to just stay a couple of hours to sleep. Pleasant staff. Quiet place. Nice.
Property was rundown. Peeling paint on door. AC not very cold. Small room. Would not return.
