Score from 66 reviews Good
Low price Helpful staff Reasonable continental breakfast
Room was a little old and shabby
Good location for Glacier Natl Park- rooms were clean and staff attentive and friendly.
A small complaint, but the TV would not work
Everything exceeded our expectations. The name is a mixed blessing - we've only visited one Cheap Sleep... and almost didn't, because the name is a self-put-down that invites cheap-skates and promises little. Thus our surprise to see a rather newish building immaculately maintained. Hope the next one is as nice!
Nothing to fault in Whitefish, Montana but the misleading name. It was "cheap" price-wise, but fresh, modern and clear. We loved it.
We liked the location in Whitefish. It was convenient for visiting Glacier National Park, the town of Whitefish, and for traveling north to Canada. It is also relatively close to Kalispell and Flathead Lake. It is walking distance to a variety of restaurants. This motel welcomes pets. All the furry "guests" were well behaved!
Very helpful cheerful staff Good morning breakfast included in price
wifi, simple free breakfast, quiet, great showers and water pressure
rugs need an update but it was all good.
Price was great not a 5 star but clean and friendly.
It was wonderful staying in aria, where most hotels cost twice, as much. Great manager in that homy hotel
Quiet, breakfast good, room good - but a bit dated. A bit far out from town, but great value for money.
clean, safe, great location, good breakfast, good value for money
Management and staff were very friendly. The maid service was very friendly also. Room and beds were comfortable. Great value. Most places around Glacier are $100 or more. Rates are very reasonable. Simple motel, but very quiet, you don't hear the people above or next to you.
Not big deals but there's no protein for the continental breakfast, other than peanut butter, don't plan on microwaving as there are none in the rooms, but hey do have refrigerators. Make sure you have shampoo as they don't have the courtesy shampoos. Not a big deal as I always bring my own anyway.
The name says it all. If you are looking for a cheap room in a good location. This is for you. It was the most reasonable motel we stayed in all week near Glacier Park. It is not the "Ritz". We spent twice as much for a room in the park that was a bare bones cabin with no breakfast included. Lodging is expensive in that area. We stayed in a different room every night. This is o.k. for the money.
- Excellent location close to amenities, grocery store etc. - Good value for money especially compared to the exorbitant prices of other hotels/motels nearby. - Reasonable and filling complementary breakfast. - Friendly staff.
- Would have been nice to have a hair dryer and iron in the room.
Due to Amtrak being late by nearly 8 hours we did not get to hotel til 6 am the following morning. Though I had asked them earlier what they did about train late arrival, so they knew how we were arriving, we wer still deemed a no show. Did get to use room but did not use bed, only showered, had continental breakfast and left. Asked about price reduction and was only given money off on a next stay should that ever occur which it will not in our case. So really have no opinion of this facility as used almost none of it. The breakfast was minimal.
It was a little hard to find
very clean, comfortable beds, nice staff...we stayed 5 nights on our Glacier Nat. Park vacation, a bit of a drive to the park but worth the difference in the lower rate
i requested 2 rooms that were close or adjoining...got 1 room on 1st floor & 1 room on 2nd floor at opposite ends of the hotel...very inconvenient for loading & unloading as we were all traveling together
Good mattress. Clean room. Comfortable to stay. Jacuzzi and pool in the hotel.
Had some difficulty to locate the hotel with my old GPS, but the staff assisted on telephone to guide us.
Convenient to Whitefish and Glacier National Park. The staff was quite helpful.
A bit run down. But given the prices of the other hotels in the area, this made it a logical choice for us.
Free long distance phone calls. Table, refrigerator and coffee maker in room. Friendly housekeeping staff. Pleasant gentleman at front desk at mid-day.
Hard to spot from highway. Cinderblock wall. Fridge right under clothes rod so little room to hang long garments. No shelving or extra room at vanity for personal articles. Cramped breakfast room with few food choices and dirty refrigerator.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. When our older children heard that we were staying at Cheap Sleep, they were a bit apprehensive. When they got there, however, they were pleasantly surprised.
During the day, it was fine but in the late evening hours, the wi-fi was super slow.
IT was a good value for the money. We stayed four nights and we had four very quiet restful nights sleep. The room was very clean, good mattress. The water pressure in the shower was good. Good assortment of breakfast items. The staff was very friendly. The room was a bit dated but still a good value. Whitefish is a nice little town. It is 20 miles from Glacier National Park. Beautiful scenery
Location just back from the road. A little out of town but within walking distance.
Breakfast room was a little small but you were free to take stuff and sit in the lobby.
On check in the staff member was absolutely whining about the printer not working in between bites of his chicken wings. "Just like everything else around here, not working" he said. He was probably (hopefully) just a seasonal employee. I said I liked the price, however, Kalispell is 20 minutes away and you can get a much better rate there...with a better room.
I was very comfortable at Cheap Sleep. The cinderblock walls keep the rooms quiet, it's not fancy dancy but very adequate!
I wish they had an elevator to the second floor or at least a way to get the suitcases up easily.
