Chelsea Apartments  

Location, size and layout of the apartment was very good.

Run down and unbelievable dirty. The only reason we stayed was because we'd paid and with 3 teenagers in tow, we didn't have the time or additional funds to find somewhere else. When we arrived, the cleaners were still cleaning the apartment, which was filthy. They attributed this to the previous client, who had apparently been there for a month. When the cleaners finished, it looked much better, but still not clean enough. - Floors were sticky, and were still dirty in some places. - Shower/bath blocked to the point of being unusable (we had to use the bathroom sink to wash our bodies and the kitchen sink to wash each other's hair (3 females with long hair...). - The paintwork was very tired; walls had marks on them everywhere. Called the agent about the blocked bath/shower - who said he would call out an engineer immediately. Nobody turned up in the 2 days we were there. First clue that it wasn't going to be of a reasonable standard was the boarded up panel of glass on the front door (street entrance). Luckily, we only stayed 2 nights - so instead of relaxing there, we just used it as a place to sleep and wash. I would not recommend it to anyone else, unless it is given an overhaul and a decent clean and then subject to regular maintenance and cleaning programme. Such a pity because the location was great, as was the size and layout.

The location was very good and the cost was excellent. The apartment was very big--three bedrooms, living room, kitchen.

There were quite a few little things that needed to be repaired, there was nothing on the walls (pictures), and there was no elevator. I think if some money was invested in repairing the little things in the apartment: get bed frames for the beds (they were on the floor), fix cabinet doors, repaint and some others, it would be an amazing place to stay. That said, the price was excellent for the size and location.

The location and price were great, but you definitely get what you pay for with this one. Spacious 3 bedroom apartment with one and half bath and washer and dryer in unit. The half bath and washer and dryer were not included in the description of the property, so those were a definite welcome surprise! Inexpensive parking right across the street from the apartment.

The apartment floors were very filthy!! Beds were very uncomfortable!! Very narrow stairwell and very steap steps up to the apartment. In the description of the apartment it said there were air conditioners, but we found only a couple of fans set up. Possible central air but very limited amount of air. We stayed in the summer and it was miserably hot in the apartment!! Bathtub and a toilet were stopped up, called and reported and no one ever showed up to fix these problems.

Location, location, location.

Stay away from this place. Bathroom got flooded, and nobody was available to take care of the facility for four days. The phone number that is provided for contact never answered our calls, so I had to unclogged the bathtub by myself. The garbage bags from the previous people were left on the stairs during all our stay, and the clean linen that was delivery Saturday morning was left next to those garbage bags until Monday morning. Apartment needs a lot of TLC. The cleaning lady finally showed off on Monday morning, knocking on the door at 8 am very rude, and the check out was at 11 am.

Holes in the walls, broken kitchen cabinet doors, washing machine broken, exposed electrical outlets, garbage left in the main entrance for days.... I could go on & on - this apartment is not well maintained at all, management was unresponsive... Booking.com was also unable to get apartment management to respond and coudl not help either... In short - Dont stay here...

Spacious

The walls were dirty. Need to be repainted badly. All plumbing in bathroom broken or in bad shape. The bedside tables lamps had broken bulbs. It is too bad that the apartment was lacking so much maintenance because it was very spacious.

The downstairs door to the street was broken, so we felt unsecure since there was no security inbetween us and the street. Very noisy, the insulation between apartments was really bad.

Det var bra central läge och en rymlig lägenhet. Lakan och handdukar var rena vilket är +.

Det var en rymlig lägenhet men väldigt slitet. Hög ljudnivå från gatan gjorde att vi fick sova med öronproppar. Diskmaskinen fungerade inte och köket var inte så välutrustat som det stod i beskrivningen. Vi fick ingen nyckel till porten utan var hänvisade till porttelefonen som skulle vara bemannad 24 timmar om dygnet. Vi påtalade att få en nyckel eftersom de glömt lägga fram det men det gick inte att lösa.

Location. Good space for kids to crawl around in.

Washing machine & dryer unplugged. Plugged them in & did washing, then dryer didn't work so we ended up with a bunch of wet clothes & couldn't do the rest of our washing. Not good with children! Rung staff but was told they all knocked off at 7.30pm & couldn't help. No elevator. Stairs quite narrow difficult to navigate with a stroller. Luckily we were on 1st floor.
