Very modern rooms with nice fixtures and fittings. Close to shopping, restaurants and bars. Very helpful staff - they recommended very nice restaurants in the area. Available free parking.
Little choice of food for breakfast. Room could be bigger but you do not stay there too much so not much of an issue.
Staff was very helpful and nice. Location and parking was very good.
Room had no storage and appeared to be unfinished.
The beauty of the house and the rooms. Very tastefull . Pleasant colors and private terrace.
Convenient location Free parking Free breakfast
Very small old room No bureau, no luggage stand, no hair dryer , steep stairs to 2nd floor, needs new mattress, needs paint Expensive
Beautiful rooms and garden. Nice pool. Free parking and breakfast. Close to many interesting places (the famous and the others) while being in a quiet area. Ease to find when arriving from highway 1.
Breakfast very simple (but better than nothing)
The staff were very accommodating of our late arrival. We stayed in a queen room and it was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast by the pool was nice and gave us a chance to meet our fellow guests. And the location was perfect!
The bed was very firm. But if you like firm, you are in luck!
Parking on location is free! Minimal pet fee $20, various lounging areas and complimentary breakfast poolside!
Our room was a little smaller than the one pictured on-line. But didn't really make a difference because bed has supper comfortable! I also booked the smallest of the rooms, so not a big deal.
Close to Duval St. Comfortable bed. Appealing pool.
Everything else! The room was stark. Air conditioner was in the bathroom. Shower was right out of a run-down YMCA. No place to put your stuff! Overpriced. So- so breakfast. No luggage rack. Listen to the King. Don't go here.
The staff and the pool area was relaxing
The location was perfect (a short walk to Duval Street) and the staff was fantastic. Our room was very quiet and comfortable. Parking was free and convenient.
I would suggest a hook on the bathroom door and an additional towel rack on the wall opposite the lavatory.
Location Close to everything but just far enough off Duval to allow for quiet
The breakfasts were less than what we expected. Strictly continental with bagels and muffins.
Great location and charming house. Nice warm pool. Nice staff.
Window in bathroom did not open. Paint touch ups not finished. Bathroom very small. Pillows very hard. Ceiling fan rattled against chain.
The parking area direct beside the building reachable Duvall Street per fied within 10min. nice Tropical surroundings the building itself the peple working there cultivated entrance area easy to find and to access
price could be more affordable for a little room with a little bath room. breakfast could have more fresh fruits and freshly cooked egg variants, when considering the price level. no real clean and nice place to sit down for the breakfast around the pool.
Location & old charm
The bed & pillows
Cosy place with a good location near Duval Street but not on it - which was good (too much going on). Relatively small rooms but functional and nice. Friendly staff.
Poor breakfast but alright. Friendly staff but do not trust their advice at all times: the man in the reception recommended us a restaurant, but said it was not possible to book a table. When we got there the restaurant was full and told us that it was ESSENTIAL to book. The receptionist should have known better! The pool is quite small.
Good breakfast and pool area.
Tiny room that we kept bumping our heads on the ceiling and bathroom so small only one person could squeeze in. Bed too hard.
Friendly and helpful staff; good breakfast selection; generally well-maintained and responsive management.
Small room safe is on floor and inconvenient to use. Parking can be difficult since spaces fill up quickly, but it is included in price of room.
Outdoor area appearance, historic buildings.
Breakfast was lame, bicycles for guests would have been nice. Price was high for value recieved.
Reasonably good location, just off Duval Street and central to most of Key West's sights. Building had 'old world' feel (but also a negative). Friendly and helpful staff. Free internet.
Despite the pleasant exterior, this accommodation is let down by the room. Our room had strong mouldy smell (had we stayed longer we would have asked to move). Room was also tiny (we had more room on the cruise we had just completed). Finishings inside the room were also dated (i.e. rust on the bed side light). We accept staying in an 'historic inn' means some mod cons may be absent, but there is a case for some updating. Also, the rooms are cleaned between 3-4pm, which proved somewhat inconvenient.
I was hoping for a full breakfast, fresh food and juices to choose from. What was available here is now standard in any hotel for free.
Wonderful staff, good location, free parking, very nice room with small balcony
Nothing. Note that there is no elevator.
Location near Duval Street
Room too small, no way to hang clothes. Breakfast was skimpy. Bed poor.
The hotel consist of a few buildings and is nicely kept. Staff at breakfast took care to fill up the baskets. The receptionist was extremely friendly Brian?). We have been upgraded to the bigger room, which was really charming, freshly renovated, on the 1st floor with high ceiling. There was a balcony for relaxation with coffee table and 2 chairs. Location of the hotel was very close to the main attractions and to the shops. We loved the place so much that wanted to extend our stay, however the hotel was booked out.
If one get the room close to the main road it may be a bit of noisy. Coffee making facilities in the room would make it perfect.
Whilst this is a very nice old inn it is overpriced. We were given room 13 which we could barely turn around in which was separated from the adjacent room by a thin wall so that you could hear every word spoken in that room and vice versa. We were transferred to room 1, uch larger, but musty and damp.
