Shabby narrow noisy establishment

The room comes with free earplugs given the gay club right next to the hotel and the streets on which their customers hang, chat, and smoke until 4/5 am. It's dirt cheap for a reason. Never again.... Need I say more?

Location near fifth avenue and lots of subway connections nearby

The staff were receptive and went out of their way to make up for the deficits of the facility. The free breakfast was a nice touch, too--a large pastry or bagel of your choice, a small orange juice or piece of fruit, plus a decent coffee--a lot of food for free.

Although the staff were so kind, it doesn't change the fact that the front rooms of the hotel are unbelievably noisy, even with the windows closed, and there is no way to make enough white noise (a fan or a heater, e.g.) to cancel it out. We had to bug the superintendent in the middle of the night to move us to a new room after even earplugs couldn't drown out the sounds from the street and the bar next door. Once we moved to a room at the back, it was pleasant and quiet enough to sleep. The beds were fairly narrow and uncomfortable, with flat, cheap pillows and rock-hard, creaky mattresses. There was no alarm clock in one of our rooms. The internet is spotty. There are better options for the same price in NYC, so I wouldn't stay here again

Great locations. Staff were fantastic - helpful and courteous. Price was what we werew after and this was great value for money seo we have left with a great experience. We will be seeking to stay againon our way out of the US + in future visits to NY. We'll also be recommending this to our friends.

It had a window facing 14th street and to spite the double glazing was still noisy, which kept us awake.

Good location in Chelsea.

There isn't a lift but lots of stairs, the shared bathroom arrangement is strange, the reception shuts at 9.00pm, and the rooms are quite dated with old furniture. Net curtains on the windows would be nice too!

The room is nice and more larger than I thought. The breakfast is great for the rate.

The Wi-Fi was not stable in my room which is in the 3 floor. And I could hear the music from the bar next to it at mid-night.

Das gesamte Hotel befindet sich in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Die Zimmer sind nicht wie auf den Bildern eingerichtet, sondern sind mit Sperrmüllmöbeln bestückt und das ist nicht übertrieben. Der völlig verkeimte Teppichboden und das schreckliche Bad das man sich mit dem Nachbarzimmer teilen muss, ist eine Zumutung genauso wie das angebotene Frühstück im Stehen oder auf der Treppe. Dieses Hotel ist nicht einmal als Jugendherberge zu empfehlen.

Недостатков хватает. Ванная не просто общая, как в Формуле-1, а общая на блок из 2-х номеров, и чувство такое, что идя туда, ты вторгаешься в чужой номер. Еще по соседству находится известный гей-клуб, а где еще ночевать его посетителям, как не в этом отеле? Поэтому можете представить, с кем вы будете делить ванную. WiFi работает плохо, деревянные лестницы ужасно скрипят, трубы шипят и свистят, под окнами всю ночь загружают мусор. Бесплатный завтрак состоит в том, что в кондитерской по соседству вам нальют кофе, дадут плюшку и фрукт, а есть все это придется либо на ходу, либо поднявшись к себе в номер, т.к. столов там нет. Вобщем за 150$ в день это все несколько шокирует.
