Chelsea Star Hotel

Tak aczkolwiek nie ma windy w w podobnej cenie mozna było mieszkać np w Hotelu Pansylwania na 33rd street ( drożej o 40 USD za dzień)

nie sprzątaja każdego dnia, mielismy ciężkie bagaże : jedna zmiana personelu pomogła nam natomiast przy wyjeżdzie recepcja nie kwapiła się z pomocą :))

Room and location

The attitude of the personnel - not inspiring

No chair in the room, so no place at all to sit except on the bed. Blinds did not come all the way down. Coat rack was too low to hang a coat on.

Clean, nice rooms. Got an upgrade and the superior room was excellent. Very good location. Good within its pricerange

Uncomfortable, noisy beds.

bed was making noices of the plastic bed wrap. airco was very noisy. the complete hotel was smelling after pot. Room was too small and not very clean. Room without a view. Neighbourhood was not so good.

Good location, good service (clean towels every day, staff made bus reservations for us), outside terras, original wall paintings

Room wasn't cleaned before or during our stay (we found m&ms on the floor). Shared badroom was out of toilet paper once and could have been cleaner (but was oke). 8th Avenue is very noisy, so I would recommend earplugs.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Friendly staff. Good value for money.

Small rooms, noisy even in the night.

The staff was very kind, the cleaning was good as were the rooms. With this "low" (to be right on manhattan) price I expected anything, but the hotel is really good and very price worthy. And the location is great, you feel very safe in the area and are right in the middle of it (one block away from madison square garden).

Informative staff, great location

Rooms could of maybe had a more comfortable bed (bit hard) with proper pillows (mine was an actual square shaped small pillow) and also there were no hairdryers in the room!!!

Very good location and very friendly staff. The room was the size of a stamp (212 with Oz paintings), but served perfectly as a shelter over night. Very clean as well.

8th avenue was rather noisy. Bring your earplugs.

Whilst location was excellent for amenities, the noise from outside traffic was horrendous - don't expect any sleep!

first impression was what a disaster was going to look for refund,but knew we would not be able to get accommodation elsewhere,so we just put up with it. bed clothes not changed during our six nights stay.
