We liked the location, close to Time Square, Empire State, Madison Square Garden, Penn Station and Hudson River. We had a Superior Room, which was very nice, private and clean. Very Strange was the rule not to have food and alcohol in the room. Well, we know how to behave in a hotel and if we like to drink a wine after a nice day before bed time, this should be okay... |

No chair in the room, so no place at all to sit except on the bed. Blinds did not come all the way down. Coat rack was too low to hang a coat on. |

Clean, nice rooms. Got an upgrade and the superior room was excellent. Very good location. Good within its pricerange Uncomfortable, noisy beds. |

bed was making noices of the plastic bed wrap. airco was very noisy. the complete hotel was smelling after pot. Room was too small and not very clean. Room without a view. Neighbourhood was not so good. |

The location was extremely central and convenient, just a 5 minute bus ride/15 minute walk to times square. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean, and they provided clean fresh towels everyday too. For such a basic room, the prices were still a bit steep, but I guess that's what you get for staying in such a central location in New York. No wifi too also, though can nick off the neighboring Manhattan Inn. Lastly there was no elevator so we had to lug all our heavy suitcases up the stairs. |

Good location, good service (clean towels every day, staff made bus reservations for us), outside terras, original wall paintings Room wasn't cleaned before or during our stay (we found m&ms on the floor). Shared badroom was out of toilet paper once and could have been cleaner (but was oke). 8th Avenue is very noisy, so I would recommend earplugs. |

Price if fair compared to New York level and location is excellent to operate.Great staff!!! Air condition was broken and sounds from the corridor too loud. |

The staff was very kind, the cleaning was good as were the rooms. With this "low" (to be right on manhattan) price I expected anything, but the hotel is really good and very price worthy. And the location is great, you feel very safe in the area and are right in the middle of it (one block away from madison square garden). |

Informative staff, great location Rooms could of maybe had a more comfortable bed (bit hard) with proper pillows (mine was an actual square shaped small pillow) and also there were no hairdryers in the room!!! |

Very good location and very friendly staff. The room was the size of a stamp (212 with Oz paintings), but served perfectly as a shelter over night. Very clean as well. 8th avenue was rather noisy. Bring your earplugs. |

The location in Chelsea and close to Penn Station is brilliant, fun decoration The bed was crap, with a matrass covered in rubber and as the room was only 1.80 wide, I bumped my head to the wall all night (I'm 1.88) |

Excellent location, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were basic but clean Whilst location was excellent for amenities, the noise from outside traffic was horrendous - don't expect any sleep! |

first impression was what a disaster was going to look for refund,but knew we would not be able to get accommodation elsewhere,so we just put up with it. bed clothes not changed during our six nights stay. |
