views. business center. breakfast. location. firm mattresses. was colder in the hotel than the snowy weather outside! loud tacky people in the bar/lobby every night.

Great room and staff. Was allowed to check in a little early I wish there was an in-room water filter. I did not realize how strong the taste of Chicago water was until I tried to make coffee/tea in the morning, which I had to throw out due to taste. It was too late to bring in bottled water (No, $6 bottle of Fiji is not the solution)

location and hotel was pretty. The staff was very nice. I stayed in a room with my daughter and son(adults) and the room was pretty small, but could not afford a larger one. The bed pillow topper was not comfortable as it kept slipping off the bed and there were many hotels also excellent location on Michigan Ave that were less expensive but I thought that Marriott would be that much better and was a little disappointed as I wanted it to be so special

We've always loved the Downtown Marriott. It is the only hotel where we way while we stay in Chicago. This time we were especially impressed with kindness/helpfulness of the staff. For some unprecedented reason, we had a lot of trouble trying to find a street that would take us to the Ohio entrance to the hotel.

Great location, we could walk to most things. Sauna in men's change room did not work. Pool area could be nicer. Ice machine on our floor did not work. More than we would normally like to pay, but busy weekend.

Staff was very courteous and polite. The room had a beautiful view. Loved the clean room. The location was excellent and in I felt like I was right in the thick of everything that was going on! I will stay there again!

Location, staff, room, view, hotel modernization, all excellent. Only complaint would be party-ers were put in the room next to us on Friday night. They need to keep young party types on the same floor and couples wanting quiet on the same floor.

Very efficiaent and professional staff. I booked my reservation with Booking.com. During last week, accommodation plans changed and when I tried to cancel at the Marriott, I was told by Booking that I couldn't because it was a non-refundable reservation. Therefore, I decided to stay at the Marriott, but when I went to check in, I was told there was no reservation. After trying for 30 minutes,Marriot was unable to get through to Booking, so I paid again for a room there. I was told by Marriott to check with Booking to see who has my original payent, but when I talked to someone at Booking last night, July 7, I was told they couldn't contact Marriott until tomorrow, Monday. So right now, I have paid for a room twice, no one seems to know what happened, and I am wondering what Booking did with my original credit card payment. Everyone at Booking has been very nice about this, but I am very skeptical about your competency.

the location No slippers, no bath robe, very bad and old Air condition without any way to control the temperature in the room. no shower gel. I asked for 2 hours late check out and it was denied.
