Wi-Fi doesn't work on all levels. And even on the first floor it sometimes gets disconnected several times.
Location is kind of good
The sheets and blanked werenot clean, there was other people hair on the pillow. Bathroom is bad as well. I got and individual room for me and friends and you can find hotels (not hostels) for a similar price only a bit more far, but with much more confort.
The location and the building are both fantastic. I liked the rooms and the breakfast was delicious.
There was a staff member that was working in the morning and he was so rude. He was older but he was extra rude.
room was good
The staff were great, and very helpful.
The guys at the attached restaurant were a bit rude, especially to people loading and unloading.
close to everything. great breakfast
The friendly staff. The location and the artsy decor. It was like a home away from home with the kitchen and community room. Our bed was wonderful and our room very clean. The bathrooms were well kept and showers were fine!
Dust in the stairway.
No wifi. Only 1 restrooms and baths on a floor.
Katerina was so kind and helpful. She is simply the best.
Close to train station, handy since we were taking it and had arrives on it. Free breakfast which was tasty.
No elevator is a bit of a pain, but at least we only had to go to the first floor! Also it's kind of hard to have a shower, as the bathroom door didn't lock so it was a little awkward. Should perhaps think about putting a divider between toilets and showers and possibly making shower cubicles or even toilet/shower combo cubicles would work well.
Excellent location with good facilities and very friendly front desk staff, always willing to help us.
Wi-fi was poor and small toillets cabinets!
Location. Good for bus travelers, close to Union Station. Bathroom clean.
My pillow had lipstick and make up marks before I used it. It is incredibly noisy at night when the bar right across the street is open, Internet is HORRIBLE and crashes every 2 minutes or more. Beds are really noisy, so if someone moves in the room you can hear. Bathroom doors are so close to the toilet you can't even sit on it, and i'm a short person.
- Location (15 minutes walk from Chicago downtown) - Very friendly and responsive staff - Breakfast included (however it is very basic: muesli, skimmed milk, toasts, boiled eggs and beverages) - Free Wi-Fi (but with poor signal) - Clean rooms
- Only 2 showers per floor (aproximately per 30~50 persons)
Cars were really loud in the street, was very hard to sleep. Also, you can clearly hear people in other rooms and in the common areas from your bed. The room we booked at 9pm on booking.com before we arrive in Chicago was sold to someone else by the time we got there, and had to wait 45 minutes until we were given another room.
Wonderful staff. Good breakfast. fantastic location!
Wifi connection cut out and in consistently. Room leaked a bit when it rained
The hostel was small but very cozy and comfortable to stay in. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Our room, the kitchen area and cleaning facilities were well maintained. The pricing is affordable and free breakfast provided is a huge plus. It's also within walking distance of the train station and downtown and surrounded by a lot of awesome restaurants. Overall, my friends and I had a great stay.
The staff Breakfast was very poor
I liked that the hostel stuff is helpful and friendly. You can store luggage, use the microwave, fridge, computer and TV in the common room. The price of the private room is a bit high for what it offers. However, the room is clean and decent in size.
The WiFi is bad on all floors, the connection is lost every few seconds. The breakfast is very basic, I think it should be improved.
Great location and helpful staff.
no elevator, was hard with bags. one Computer which was not easy to use.
the staff is not customer-minded at all and do not have the correct information about the city. Look for another hostel!
- hluk / noise
Perfect hostel ever!
Bathroom was dirty. Sheets had hair on them.
wifi not working in my room
