Breakfast included. Free towels to borrow. Very clean bathrooms. Common room with PC; fridge and microwave. Great transportation. 24/7 eateries.

No elevator.

Male bathrooms don't allow much privacy, no elevator (annoying when you have lots of luggage), noisy when room close to street

The location is perfect which is quite close to several tourists spot like Willis Tower, Union Station. My BF is quite satisfied with the restaurant there,breakfast is good.

The staff were helpful. There was easy access to public transport. The bathroom was clean.

There was no seat in the room. I thought the bathroom was shared between each two rooms for private, but it was for the whole floor. It was clean, though. There was no television in the room either. It was juat a small space with two beds, a wardrobe and two lockers.

Very basic breakfast, showers were quite dirty at times.

My first impression was not good, but then I had not realized Parthenon is a hostel, not a hotel.

The communal area was nice and relaxing, welcoming and helpful staff.

bed covers way too short and very stiff bed.

This hotel is close to Union Station and the blue-line. It was convenient for me to take the public traffic since I cannot drive.

I think the heater didn't work well. I felt cold sometimes I stayed in the room.

Location is great - within walking distance from downtown Chicago. Staff was friendly and eager to help with directions. I guess it's the best value you can get for that amount of money. Bathroom was shared, but extremely clean and modern I would say.

Location in Greektown

It was cheap. The breakfast was decent. It was right in the middle of Greektown and there were plenty of restaurants to get something to eat at.

My "double bed" was two queen sized beds pushed together. It was still very comfortable, but a bit odd. Also, one of the outlets in my room did not work.

Everyone working there was very accommodating. Was awesome to finally be in a hostel that didnt have a curfew.. Rad places to eat at and check out were walking distance. Fit the budget! Would definitely stay here again and again!

I stayed on the 3 floor and it was a pain that there were only urinals in the men's bathroom on the 3rd floor. Had to go down flight of stairs everytime we had to use toilet. That was very inconvenient.

Nice and easy place. Common bathrooms and showers clean and in good condition. A very nice location in the Greek town, also very close to a Blue Line cta stop.

No elevators and the bed was too hard to sleep in.

The comforters were not too clean, but the linen were.

Staff very friendly, Room clean and easy access to the city, only a ten minute walk, and a three minute walk to the blue line train to Ohare.

The location was pretty great, fairly easy walk to the loop and right on the metro blue line. Staff at the main desk were helpful. Breakfast was decent.

As others have mentioned, the bathroom stalls are comically cramped and the manager who monitors the breakfast is rude-- but these 2 things weren't so bad. I think its a bit overpriced for the facilities - beds were super squeaky and not very comfortable, there's just one computer and the wireless internet wasn't very reliable. If you can find somewhere cheaper with a similar location, go with that. If not, this is a decent choice.

In Chicago's Greek Town neighborhood. Lots of great restaurants serving bakalava and more. The hotel is very basic and a good value. The bathrooms are down the hall. For a youth hostel, it was quiet.

The hotel has long, narrow stairs to reach the rooms.
