I liked it because of the location. we were in walkiong distance of the Art Institute, Shedd Aquarium, and Field Museum. I was east to take the L to spend time with my son. Air conditioning could have been better. |

The location I have a nice long list of things that were wrong with my room...there was a juice wrapper in our bed, the tv didnt work, sheets didnt fit the bed - ended up on the mattress in the middle of the night, no water pressure - twice no water at all, door didnt always work - latch was broken, faucet for shower actually fell off at one point. When I tried to address these issues with the front desk at the end of our stay we were offered 10% off of our first nights stay...we were there for four nights and paid $180 a night. Absolutely not worth it...and completely disappointed in the resolution to the problem. If I would have been offered 10% off of every night we stayed I would have been happy. |

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. The free WiFi was very useful too. It was also a good location for getting to the Museum campus and Grant and Millennium parks. It was not very quiet and the decor could do with updating. The lift was very slow. |

It was very close to everything we wanted to do and felt safe in the area. Hotel staff was excellent and recommended some great places to eat. The closeness of the "L" made it sound like thunder through the night. When we arrived, the room selection had to be changed based on availablity. Fortuntately 1 king was still available for a 6'7" person traveling with us. |

The Chicago Travelodge was well located just one block from Michigan Ave. and across Michigan Ave. from Grant Park. The bathroom was clean and updated even though the hotel was very old. The carpet throughout our room and hallways was dirty. The elevators were very slow. |

The room was nice for the value. I had the room with the kitchenette, so for myself, my husband and two kids we had plenty of room. The bathroom was large and clean and appeared to be updated. Most of the hotel staff was friendly and helpful, anything I needed I only had to ask once and they showed up with it right away. It is definitely a two star hotel but if you are looking for a decent room on a budget, this is definitely a place to consider! The parking was a bit expensive. |

The room was very small - by far the smallest room we had had on our travels across the US when we have stayed in six other hotels so far. Facilities were very basic The TV was unusable as we were only able to get one channel. The worst thing was the lift service - the room was on the 11th floor and there was a long wait for the lift- once about 10 minutes. Many other people chose to use the stairs. |

it's quite near to the Michigan lake, museums and in a very good place to go elsewhere. very convenient. the hotel is a little old but the room was nice. wireless is free my room was on the side of street, so it was a little noisy when the train passed. besides, i did not see any exhaust fan in the bathroom. luckily it was not humid. |

When checking in the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Upon entering the room the first notice was it was clean and appeared to be comfortable - this happened to be so as we went to bed for the night. The location of the hotel was excellent. Parking close and not expensive, within walking distance to theaters and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return when next in Chicago. Our second home. Only aspect that we didn't like about the hotel was the long wait for the elevators, an older hotel problem perhaps but the elevators could be looked into. |

It is pretty cheap and very near to my conference site. My room is 235. At 4: 00AM every day, the kitchen begins to work and I cannot sleep well any longer. Hopefully next time, I will be assigned a quieter room. |

Hotel site says that all rooms have wired as well as wireless internet connections. But the fact is that for the wired connection customer has to carry their own cables which is really bad. |

For the price you can't beat the location! The room was abnormally small. It was fine for one night in the city since we were only there a few hours to sleep but wouldn't want to stay in that small of a room for too long. |
