It was fine hotel, and the best deal for the time period by far. Looks like if we came a few months later the hotel would have been fixed up some more - management seems to be trying to plus up the joint. Great location.
convenient parking and cleanliness
Wonderful staff and great location. Will stay there again!
We were a group of three from Ireland but living in Canada and we came for the St Patricks festivities. The location was perfect, everything was clean and the staff were all lovely. Thank you all for a great stay!
This time the room was big more space and refrigerate that best thing
I'm stay 2 or 3 time I don't remember well but for me the Internet is priority always I don't have good wifi ... The rest is good
Great Location, close to main avenues and train station. Nice people on service, very clean and well maintained room
Air conditioner seems to be so warm(I was on Winter) I tried to adjusted it but it didn't work, A Little bit noised due to Blue Line train station close, but it doesn't affect the rest.
Location is best
No control on the heating in the room
The man at the front desk was extremely helpful and patient with all of our questions. He was very nice, and told us what we needed to know. The man who took us to our floor was very hospitable. Everything here went smoothly smoothly, from check in to check out, and it was a nice stay all around.
The only issue was that peope were Shouting in the streets outside, but the hotel had nothing to do with that. Otherwise it was very pleasant.
When I made the reservation, parking was shown as included in the final price. When I checked in, they said that parking
I found a bag of drugs in my room.
The Travelodge is centrally located and reasonably priced. Their staff was cheerful and helpful. The refrigerator and microwave in the room was a useful, added bonus.
Of the three elevators, only one was working and I was on the seventh floor--it took a while to get to and from the room. Also, the hotel has been being renovated for quite a while. I was there a couple of years ago while it was being worked on and the restaurant is still under construction.
Everything about the room
The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean. It was located by a lot of the sites to see and visit. Great value.
Wish there would have been more than 1 elavator working. It would be nice if there were brochures for visitors that made the bus routes just for the major attractions easier to understand from the hotels.
I like the Travelodge because the staff is friendly and the rooms are always clean. Also, it's very close to downtown without being overly expensive.
However, the room wasn't so cheap that they couldn't have put a microwave and mini fridge in the room. That was inconvenient.
location wi fi service
This place is great for younger travelers who do not want or need a lot of extras. It's in a good location and parking is within a block and cost $25 per day unlimited in/out.
Neighborhood not the happiest place on earth. Watch yourself.
There was no hairdryer provided and the staff was not available at night for assistance. No breakfast provided sadly as well.
The tv channels
The heater was broken and I couldn't turn it off! I talked to the staff that adivised me to turn the ar conditioner on to balance the temperature of the room! They told me they would fix it but nobody went there!
the heat at the entrance/exit is pretty harmful when going out, as far as i know going out of the hotel you need to prepare your body for a colder temperature thus creating an area in between to cool you down before going out, now continuing my trip has been a bit of nursing my partner since she fot extremely sixk of that matter
The staff is always great at the Harrison Ave Travel Lodge. Very helpful. They are trying to update the hotel and give it a more modern look.
While it's great they are working on remodeling an older hotel, the cafe on the first floor was being gutted and redone. Made for some noisy mornings.
Value, location and size of room
L train noise not dampened so had to sleep with earplugs.
Easy to reach from O'Hare with CTA and straight bus line to McGormick Place.
Location and price of room
