Water pressure was horrible Elevator was very slow
Location is excellent! Super comfy beds. Great internet connection.
Elevator too slow and broke all the time. The shower head was clogged. Even after making sure the staff knew about the third guest arriving late, we had to ask for another set of towels and hair dryer. But those negative points were minor setbacks, I'd stay there again for sure.
Good location, convenient from the airport and close to the city center. The hotel is good!
The staff is always friendly and helpful. They are one of the reasons I've used this hotel several times. The location is great. One block off the Red Line makes getting around Chicago a breeze. Close to the tourist sites like museums, planetarium, and Navy Pier.
This is not the newest hotel. They are doing some renovations. The elevators are on the slower side.
Location was great and the staff very friendly and helpful
Elevators are slow and the showers have no pressure.
Location and rooms were great
Elevators were hard to get. Always full and not enough to accommodate the amount of people
Elevators slow and showers are poor. No pressure
Friendly staff and clean room. House keeping do a great job.
We liked the location near Michigan Avenue, near the museum campus, parks, near the bus and subway lines (we took the train in and so we walked a lot). The price was good compared to nearby hotels. The ac worked well and the room was clean.
We had to ask for normal size pillows for the bed (originals were very small). There were no washcloths (just like in Europe:)) and I would have liked a paper with information of location of ice..nearby places to eat, maybe churches...list of things going on in Chicago that week...a newspaper available in lobby...none of these were "big deals"
Close to red line cta
Internet is not that fast
The cost of overnight parking. This costing is not much cheaper than staying overnight at a Motel 6, which includes free parking!
Location was okay just half block off Michigan Ave.
No bottled water available for purchase in any of 4 vending machines. Bathroom not stocked for 2 guests in room. Phone in room did not work. Was accosted in restaurant off lobby by panhandlers at breakfast. Elevator very slow.
Fair prices, fair comfort.
Not all standard tv programms available, not even a programm guide. E. g. missed standard news channels.
Terrible probems with lifts foreverbreaking down
You was the perfect location for us. Close to where we needed to be and easy to get to public transportation. The staff was great very friendly and helpful. They where all very professional made are stay easy.
Although the rooms where clean the rug was torn in places. The pop machine on our floor did not work. Elevators small and extremely slow. Bathroom and little questionable.
only thing I liked was the price (in comparison to other hotels).
small cramped room and bathroom. dirty windows with weather stripping hanging down inside the window. no blow dryer. slow elevators. etc... etc...
It was an easy walking distance to Millenium Park, The Field Museum, The Art Institute, and other attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and included a coffee maker, mini-fridge, and sink. It includes free WiFi.
Our room looked out on the backwall of another building which made the room dark, and there was no view. As others noted, the elevators are very slow, although we did catch a few rides on the still manually operated service elevator, which is a cool bit of history.
Ideal for value for money in a great location. Basic rooms and very soft beds, but great spot. Good size bathroom and room. Huge bed.
Beds too soft. Noisy air con and window.
smalled like smoke the."el" train is right beneath your room it is incredibly loud and runs all night long it looks shabby.. our room looked looked shabby I WILL NEVER EVER STAY THERE AGAIN
Close to transport and water front
Depending on room, train noise.
Location. Nice room quite clean.
Very loud environment. Maybe it was just the room I stayed in but without earplugs I would not have been able to sleep.
Price Okay for one night stay Staff Computer area to print off stuff
Bed Decor(nothing matched) View Windows were dirty and grimy Location Very slow elevators Air conditioner in window wasn't that cold
