Very accommodating staff, very nice room facilities, good location for most things in Chicago - especially for McCormick place.
Lifts are dated and in need of refurb, had to wait too long get a taxi from the hotel, no food ordering facilities.
bed nice and firm....rooms large and clean....quiet night's sleep....staff very nice. Good force in shower. Good location.
Elevators much too slow. Got hair dryer at desk...would rather have had it in room.....Pillows too small and hard.
Convenient location Friendly staff Access to breakfast and lunch in restaurant on-site
Corner room was cold and not very clean Window shade in bathroom needed replacing
Price and location
- Dirty - Uncomfortable - Cold (heating doesn't work) - Loud - Old
Staff was friendly and good location
Noise from train and outside people slow elevator
Proximity to city & metro lines.
Directly next to metro tracks - loud trains all day/night long. Rooms covered in dust. Very uncomfortable beds. Sheets full of marks. Very low water pressure in shower (light mist). Elevators very slow (old). Incompetent personnel.
Noise outside of the room. some metal noise and the metro
Needs refurbishment, the worst Travel Lodge I have stayed in
Staff were not particularly friendly. Very average room with very few facilities. Not good value for money.
Room was very basic but very clean and fine for our one night requirement
We were prompted yo upgrade our room for a discounted rate which we did however the room was extremely noisy positioned above the rail lines and we barely slept
Nice room with good bathroom. Great location, just next to Millennium Park!
We had a room on the street side where the Loop was driving untill late, which was quite noisy. The windows couldn't open, so ventilation was minimal.
cheap cab fair from Amtrak
Staff so so having to smoke in the street paper thin walls
accessible, polite staff, in general helpful and quick to respond staff
SLow elevator, Difficult to know about access to food in the evening.
Hotel was central to most everything we wanted to see and do. The room was small but adequate and comfortable.
The elevators were amazingly slow as was the hot water. But, there was hot water. The window was filthy.
Near train station Good location to walk to attractions Good size rooms
Water pressure Carpet dirty
Garbage trucks were extraordinarily loud starting at 5 am and continued until 6 am. Room and especially the bathroom are small and cramped. VERY old facility.
Location was great.
Lift was old and slow.
Well placed in Chicago - all visit can be done without car.
Too noisy, clim is an old one with some hole around No breakfeast
location friendly staff
elevators working very s-l-o-w-l-y to the point of frustration
Great location! Within walking distance of major weekend event. Good service from day staff. Night staff not so friendly.
Room a bit small for 2-double beds in a room. Little noisy next to downtown rail system and lots of sirens entire stay. Had a problem with booking.com with a incorrect date for stay and was charged a no show fee at hotel. Still waiting on credit to show up on card after hotel correction.
Staff is very good
Overpriced hotel for a very basic and cold room where the windows don't close properly. The noise is extreme. Would not reccomend this hotel.
People, people, location. The train noise is good, but sometime it is bad. But it is good.
bathtube... I guess all hotels in the planet should remove the bathtube. I am always afraid to slip while after the shower.
The building is old rooms reflect this the lifts slow decor outdated
Close to redline.....2 stops to centre of town. Big spacious room with kitchenette and lounge area. Reception staff were excellent. Thai restaurant and breakfast/lunch diner on site. Cheap drinks in the bar.
Housekeeping dropped a card through the door before 9am daily so had to arrange cleaning via front desk. Never been vacuumed so had to wear socks all the time or your feet get very dirty.
