Location was great.
Lift was old and slow.
Well placed in Chicago - all visit can be done without car.
Too noisy, clim is an old one with some hole around No breakfeast
location friendly staff
elevators working very s-l-o-w-l-y to the point of frustration
Staff is very good
Overpriced hotel for a very basic and cold room where the windows don't close properly. The noise is extreme. Would not reccomend this hotel.
People, people, location. The train noise is good, but sometime it is bad. But it is good.
bathtube... I guess all hotels in the planet should remove the bathtube. I am always afraid to slip while after the shower.
The building is old rooms reflect this the lifts slow decor outdated
Close to redline.....2 stops to centre of town. Big spacious room with kitchenette and lounge area. Reception staff were excellent. Thai restaurant and breakfast/lunch diner on site. Cheap drinks in the bar.
Housekeeping dropped a card through the door before 9am daily so had to arrange cleaning via front desk. Never been vacuumed so had to wear socks all the time or your feet get very dirty.
Cleanliness of the room only Accomodating staff Slept well
Poor Decor Long wait for elevator Terrible restaruant in the hotel breakfast was bad terrible carpet on the 11th floor
Location, plenty of eatery's around
Noise,Room opposite train track and car park, on 10th floor. Seriously need to sort out the lifts, so slow! Expensive Car Parking $40 overnight, or $4 per hour meter, but then from 10pm to 8am free on road parking
The location is excellent. Half a block to Grant Park, one block to el. Walking distance to many attractions.
It is a very old building that has not been updated. Conduits running on outside of baseboards, very old grout in bathroom, dated appointments. The beds were harder than we preferred but I did sleep OK. The elevators were the slowest I have ever experienced. Parking costs $39 a night. (We were to have flown & due to air traffic debacle ended up driving.) When they brought my car around at the end of two days, the windshield was covered with pigeon poop. I told the parking attendant and he had someone spray it with a hose which only got some of it off. Very unhappy about that. The staff wasn't overly knowledgeable. We also had trouble with key entry card every time . It was so not worth $200 a night.
Really old hotel, the elevator is the slowest that I´ve ever seen, really need an decoration´s upgrade .
You cannot fault the location of this hotel right at the centre of Chicago making everything walkable
Our room was on the 12th floor right above the L line so earth quake every few minuets. The hotel has seen better days very much in need of refurbishment a pity because you could not fault the location
The people were great very friendly and ready to help. Made us feel right at home. Close to subway trains and attractions. THANKS GUYS and GALS for all you did.
The only thing that I can say anything negative about would be how slow the elevator was, but hey when you are on vacation you need to slow down an enjoy anyway.
The location was great!
The temperature of loby and hallways were very warm.
Great central location and great sized rooms and comfortable beds
The Elevators were slow and need replacing. Also the elevated Railway was very noisy but soon got used to it and didn't worry me.
The area , the room was in.
The way room and Hall's lay out was. It need's a more update fell to it.
Great location and less than a minute walk to the Harrison red line station. The bed was very comfortable. The water pressure was good and there was an iron and ironing board. My room had a small kitchenette with a sink, microwave and coffee pot. The lobby is nice and the staff was great. My room was quite, however, at 0300 and 0400 trash trucks came down the alley way.
The elevators are terrible and very slow! I was on the 7th floor and it was much faster taking the stairs. The carpet in my room was very old and dirty, I almost ripped it up. To do push ups and sit ups I had to put towels down on the floor as I did not want to touch the carpet. The hotel does not receive enough daily news papers. Not that big a of an issue, just nice to have. No breakfast option, however, there is an adjacent restaurant that will give you a 10% discount if you tell them your room number.
few minutes from the red line Metro and less than 10 minutes from the blue line from the airport. The location of the hotel and the price is very nice.
The elevator is inconvenient.
Alex at the front desk was extremely helpful and polite.
The room could've been swept better, but the bathroom was very clean.
Location was close to downtown amenities.
Old building. No fan in bathroom. Single panes windows right next t
I liked the proximity to sightseeing, food, and activities.
The view wasn't all that great and elevators were pretty slow.
-great downtown location across from Millenium Park -clean rooms
-aging building -swipe cards did not work -view of adjacent building from room
Water pressure was horrible Elevator was very slow
Location is excellent, close to great points like Millenium park, Willis Tower, Buckingham Fountain and many more.
Dirty windows. The noise generated by CTA trains may cause some sleeping discomfort.
