Extremely affordable, staff were very helpful, check-in & check-out went smoothly. Provided new soap and bathroom supplies daily.

It is definitely an older hotel. The room was very tiny, but for the price it was okay.

Close to city center, cheap and good value for money. comfortable rooms and beds. Very good transport links into City Center. Good Budget Hotel option, in answer to the question below would I recommend it YES and Chicago is THE BEST CITY IN THE U.S.A.

6 blocks from McCormick Place. The room was serviceable, relatively clean, and fairly matched the price.

It's effectively a nice hostel. You can't walk to/from there safely from McCormick Place after about 11:00pm. The service level was poor; I felt more like an inconvenience in some instances, than a guest.

Great location, very close to the city, close to multiple transit stops, less than a minute's walk from a multitude of shops and restaurants. Staff was very friendly. Parallel parking on the street outside is free. Room was small, yet cozy, and very clean. It's obvious that this staff cares about its guests.

Toilet paper holder in the bathroom and soap rack in the shower kept falling off. Honestly though, it wasn't a big deal. This is the only bad thing I have to say about this hotel.

Great location and inexpensive for Chicago. A short walk to the EL and a five minute ride to downtown. Extremely helpful staff.

My room was generally very clean except for the carpet which really needed a good clean.

3 minute walk to train station which is very convenient to get to downtown. Probably the cheapest hotel close to city.

Floors were not carpeted so felt cold all the time, but heater in room helped. Also the bed was very close to the toilet which had a drain smell

It was convenient to the McCormick Convention Center. The 21 bus out front goes directly there, Beds were small but comfortable. Good air conditioning. @ channels in English..2.1 And 5.1 I would recommend this for students, or business travelers that don't want to spend $200+ to be close to the convention center

No elevator, I have severe arthritis in my ankle and stairs are killer for me. Luckily I was on the 2nd floor, any higher and I would have tried to find another hotel.. Very basic, no hair dyer, vending machine was empty, 1 computer for guest use but no printer.

Good location- close to metro.

Do not expect too much - you will get clean towell and sheets and place to sleep and that's all! Dirty floor, no elevator, small rooms, a bit smelly.

Amazing price! We got a suite for a group of three friends and got a great deal. Location is transportation friendly and great neighborhood. No bugs! If you can find a free street parking spot (just at the end of the block) you can save a ton of money over other hotels that charge for parking.

You should be prepared for a hostel like bathroom and small rooms, but at these prices I would hope most people don't expect luxury.

I like the fact that it is right in the heart of chinatown. Close to shopping and great restaurants. Also very close to the chinatown redline station

Rooms are a bit dark and not much for view when you look out your window. Other than that, I have not much complaints about the hotel.

It was clean and quiet and economical, and convenient to the city by public transportation.

I was told by the staff that I had to pay at check-in time, and not at check-out as is the case everywhere else. They said that this information was on the booking.com website. However, since this is highly unusual, it should have been presented much more prominently to avoid problems and incomvenience for the guest and the hotel as well. This was the only time in my life that I was asked to pay for a hotel at the time of checking in.

The service was friendly, the room was very clean, compared to what kind of room you can usually get for 50-75$ here in chicago. Also, it is nestled right in the heart of china town so if your looking for a ethic chinese experience this is the place. A block from redline CTA. I would recommend this place to anyone

The location for this place is key. If you're here for a night and plan to sightsee, attend an event, etc, you are right off the Red Line and you can be downtown in 10 minutes. Decent WiFi. Cool little area right in Chinatown, plenty of restaurants, bakeries, and even a Walgreens down the street for misc items. If you don't expect too much going into your visit, you will enjoy it. As long as you are not picky, this place will work. Short term stays are probably better than long-term stays.

Not very clean, though I didn't expect it to be. No bugs, but there was dust. Rooms were very small, and the cable tv did not work well. You may see some sketchy goings on in the lobby, your fellow guests may not be the most outstanding citizens.

The rooms were very small, outdated, and not clean. Asked for extra blankets, they were dirty. There was no elevator had to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs. No ice machine on every floor. Had to walk downstairs and ask for a cup of ice, no ice buckets. The beds were very uncomfortable.
