Grandchildren love the hot tub, close to eateries, convenient to Ayala Park for early soccer game, easy access to freeway and major surface streets.
Everything was great.....
an atm machine would have been very convenient, especially in regards to the vending machines that only take cash. Other than that my experience was nice and the staff was nice and helpful as well
There were a few patching jobs on the walls that needed finishing but other than that the facility was nice and accommodated my needs well
Nice hotel with friendly staff.
I wish the entire hotel was smoke-free. Some of the cleaning crew did not do a good job of cleaning the bathroom and replacing towels and soap.
You got what you paid for. Nice for the price
A little cleaner
The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. There were 5 couples and they got us all on the same floor.
Commode backed up.
The non smoking room has a smell like if they gathered some cigarettes butts and put them under the carpet.
Room clean! Newer property price
lots of teenagers on weekends pillows are not comfortable
Great place for the right price. In town for a baseball tournament and the kids loved it. The indoor swimming pool was there favorite. And Dennys restaurant just a few feet away for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
I liked how comfortable the beds were. How they give four pillows to each bed. The towels were thick and new looking.
I disliked how the indoor pool was freezing.
Covered pool & hot tub - no worries about too much sun, but open to outside for good air circulation. Might get cold during winters if not heated. 2 king BEDS-plenty of room for all of us and enough floor space for games (brought old sheet to put down). Refrigerator & microwave - keeps bottled water, juice bags, left-overs cold. 2 bottles of water, coffee station included. Denny's & archibalds - across parking lot for easy meals - still $$ ahead with great room rates. Pleasant staff - accommodated early check-in and room away from freeway noise. Clean - nothing fancy, but clean and comfortable. Felt secure
Had problems connecting with tv - reported and was working when we returned from lunch. Sheets - clean but a bit scratchy, pillows were a little lumpy, but got used to both and slept ok.
This hotel is a great value!! I plan on staying there for all my futures trips to Chino Hills.
The only negative experience I encountered was the wi-fi was very spotty and slow.
Friendly front desk and good room cleaning.
A sour smell in the lobby. It might be some kind of air freshener.
professional staff clean
Facility was probably recently remodeled since the carpets looked nice and new. The double king room was large enough to easily handle two adults and two children. There was no breakfast offered or a restaurant at the hotel, but there is a Denny's across the parking lot. The small kitchenette included a microwave, refrigerator, cupboards and a sink big enough for us to prepare a simple meal in the room.
Inadequate cleaning staff. One day the room had not been cleaned by 8:00 pm despite calling several times, so we finally just grabbed clean towels and new coffee packets off the staff's cart in the hall. They told us they were full, so this may have been a temporary thing since the room was clean when we originally checked in. They never brought new soap or shampoo during the four days we stayed, so we were down to soap frags on the last day. Guess I should have grabbed some off the staff's cart earlier in the week...
This Hotel comfortable, clean and quite. I like this Hotel.
location, room with two king size beds.
shower curtain smelled like mildew, told them to have them change it. Second night we were there, our room did not get made up. I had to call and they brought up towels. I was charged 15 dollars per night for incidentals, I guess I was not aware. I was also not aware that for me to cancel this room when I got there I would have to go thru this website which I did not know. I did call them and was told that I could get out of the room if I would just let them know ahead of time. Who needs the hassle? No discounts for AARP.
I was in Chino Hills for a wedding. The distance from the hotel and venue was less than 6 miles. Rooms came with a mini frig and microwave. Denny's, Starbucks & Archibald Resturant was less than a minute walk from the hotel.
Housekeeping staff needs to pay attention to DETAIL. Our ice bucket had the coffee filter(from a previous guest) and the coffee wrapper in it. When we returned after the wedding & reception...both where still in the ice bucket. The bathtub had long black hair on the back of the tub(by the wall) and hair in the floor. Good thing I travel with CLOROX WIPES!
Clean and good location
Leaky air conditioner, floor was soaking in a 3 foot radius around it, 5 tour buses of young kids and they were up running and jumping half the night. Shook the hotel room we were in. Told front desk about both issues.
This hotel was very comfortable, quiet, and clean. It's sort of a hidden little secret. Not a lot of people know of this place or it's cheap rates. This room should of costed twice as much. What a SUPER DEAL.
The staff left me a little confused on how they hold money on your credit card for a security deposit. 1 lady said one thing, while the other told me different. Left me puzzled even after walking away. All was well at the end of my stay though.
CLEANLINESS, COMFORT BOTH IN THE ROOM ITS SELF AND THE BED. HAVING A REFRIGERATOR AND MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM, IRON AND IRON BOARD. CLOSE TO EATERIES. CLOSE TO HOME! MY HUSBAND AND I USE HOTEL CHINO HILLS AS A 1-2 NIGHT GETAWAY FROM KIDS AND GRAND KIDS, NICE QUIET, COMFY, AND PRIVATE
WORK OUT AREA NEEDS SOME OTHER EQUIPMENT BESIDES TREADMILLS. A OUTDOOR POOL AREA, (OASIS) WOULD BE NICE, PEOPLE LIKE TO GET OUTSIDE IN THE SUN.
Need a diving board in pool.
The room was a good size, and I was really pleased with the friendliness of the staff. The furniture in the room was comfortable and not trashy looking. The room price was good for what you get. The pool, jacuzzi, free WiFi, laundry room on-site, plus the business center were all awesome perks. I was really happy with my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend or stay here again!
The only downside was the WiFi connection wasn't very strong especially at peak hours.
Very clean and comfortable.
We were first put in Room #408 when we arrived. After 2 hours of resting in our hotel and listening to an annoying hum and vibration that seemed to get louder with each minute, they kindly moved us to Room #219....ahhh, much quieter. Even the light fixture in room # 408 rattled because of the extreme vibration.....from a rooftop HVAC unit perhaps????? Would have appreciated a breakfast bar...at least cereal, pastries, coffee and juice. Disappointed that the pool and spa were closed, and one treadmill out-of-order. All four bed pillows were too extremely thick !!!!
The hotel generally had quiet floor areas. I also enjoyed the array of TV stations available to guests for free.
I left with the worst customer service experience of my life. After checking out of my room, I walked to the lobby area and decided to catch a few minutes of a world cup soccer game. To my utter amazement, the front desk guy (a Chinese-American, I believe), turned off TV from a remote control while I was watching. After I complained, he turned it back on. Too angry for words, I drove off to the airport.
Clean and easy acess from freeway
