It was all good.
Would recommend with caution about noise from trains. I would use facilities again but not an overnight stay.
Spacious, relaxing, gorgeous view.
Food room amenities
Train noise alllll night
Loved everything! Loved seaside view, window, beach coral pillow, throw at end of bed- would love to have one just like it! Loved bathtub! Staff in hotel & restraunt were amazing! Everyone was so nice! Excellent dinner outside.
The train! Woke up every time! So, tired next day:(
I found the view, the food, the location and the staff outstanding
With the train running both day and night sleep was all but impossible. I counted 15 applications of the train horn from 1 single train while attempting to sleep with the earplugs provided. For the high cost of the room I felt it was not good value and wouldn't recommend this hotel.
Beautiful views, unparalleled comfort, excellent massage and spa treatments - all in all one of my favorite lodging choices!
I can't think of a thing.
the room was lovely, relaxing, the atmosphere was fabulous, the view was stunning, the staff were very helpful, having the spa easily accessible was a plus, and one huge perk was having walking trails just down from the hotel. One walking trail, along the pier, led to a Woods Coffee House, and the coffee and breakfast were amazing. Worth the walk each morning. Staff at the front desk of the spa were very helpful.
The trains that went by frequently outside the spa made it quite difficult to sleep, impossible to have the window open at all. While the hotel provided ear plugs, I am not sure that I would consider staying here if sleep was part of my intended relaxation. The food at the bar was only so so (we opted to eat there so we could sit outside because the restaurant was too busy) and we ordered three items between us, only one of which would be worth repeating. My husband and I also both received massages at the hotel spa, and we are both familiar with massage as part of our regular life, and, based on that experience, would both rate our Chrysalis massage experience at a 5/10.
The location and the restaraunt was superb
The location and walkability were great! The room was fabulous with a pretty decent side view!
It was hard to sleep through the train noise.
Bay view, food, staff, boardwalk access, room decor, underground parking, stunning sunset, coffee shop within walking distance
Slow sink drain room 104, Frequent train crossings
Excellent dining facilities, very pleasant staff, great location close to Fairhaven District, superb spa amenities.
Nothing.......will be returning soon.
Spa downstairs and the steam room & the bed was very comfortable
Parking could have been better...the train going by early in the morning.
Design of hotel and room, view, location.
Staff, facilities and restaurant were absolutely perfect.
They were working on the train tracks in front of our room. Starting around 4:00am ( seriously) trains were going by every 20 minutes. It was impossible to sleep , especially on the first floor less than 50 feet from the tracks. If I had been informed of the trains and the closeness to the tracks, we would not have stayed there.
Personal touch with thank you card. Late check out. Garage.
Loud a/c and heater. Mysterious $19.75 fee.
Fantastic view of the bay. Tucked away in trendy part of town. Quite and homey.
A little off the beaten path.
Lots of high ratings, very helpful and friendly staff, secure underground parking very convenient to rooms, first-class restaurant
The view is great, if you don't mind a huge boat dock in the middle of it. Definitely a disappointment, but still enjoyed the sunsets and the sounds of the water.
My girlfriend loved the spa and steam room. Jackie was great ! Good food at bar .
Over priced when you spend this much you don't expect to pay for bath amenities !
Only the fact that Booking.com did not clarify that we were getting a side view room (of the Bay, which was still lovely) and that the main lobby lounge are (not the bar), was booked for a private party. It would have been nice to kick back there and enjoy a glass of wine and the view!!
We only stayed for a night but wished we could have stayed for a week. The hotel and restaurant staff were friendly, eager to serve and always smiling. The setting is fantastic, right on Bellingham Harbour with a great view from the room and located right at the entrance to a wonderful harbour boardwalk/trail. The modern furnishings, with the double-wide tub, seperate shower, gas fire place, and king size bed only added to the romance as we sat in the window seat and watched the boats in the harbour and people walking along the boardwalk as the sun set.
Trains going by were a bit noisy but it actually adds to the ambiance. Ear plugs are available if needed.
The location, the view, the service, appointments of the room food, the massage...all good.
The noise of the trains
Staff was wonderful
Thought the room was not a good vault for your dollar.
A beautiful facility. Amazing location. Spotlessly clean. Artful attention to detail. Wonderful, comfortable rooms.
I found nothing not to like. A bit pricey, but worth every penny!
