I liked the fact that the pick up was quick and easy to acquire travelling with a 7yr old. From London. We stayed over night. Comfortable clean and tidy. Suited our family needs. Breakfast was self service. Good and satisfying.
The fact the receptionist was not helpful on checking in at 22.30.

The hotel is no longer on the courtesy list and with no cellphone reception I wasn't able to contact the hotel. The guy from car rental gave the hotel a call but the shuttle never showed up. I lifted with a airport shuttle from the Holiday Inn. Breakfast was so busy, there was no room to sit somewhere. Room was small and the curtains were blown open by the air-conditioning. I tied them together to keep them closed.
Good bed, clean bathroom, pleasant efficient staff. Got picked up right away at Federal Circle. Dropped off at JFK next morning on time.

I was in transit to a family emergency; my family tried to reach me, repeatedly calling the reception phone over the course of 20 minutes. No one ever answered. When I raised this with the reception staff, he did not apologize. He did not even seem to care. I was personally offended, and I believe this is an impractical place to stay.
Arrived at the shuttle bus stop just as a Comfort Inn bus was about to pull out. We flagged it down to stop, but the driver ignored us. Then, already tired from our long flight, we had to stand up waiting for over half an hour for another one.
Nowhere to eat out. Room was very small. Not much room to move around the bed.
The used contact lens, the lid from a cleaning product left lying on sideboard, hair in the bed. The hotel was disgusting and I will never stay there, or in any other Comfort Inn again. Paper plates at breakfast are I appealing and very bad for the environment.
The receptionist was helpful and quick to get us settled in as it was so late and we had to leave very soon for another flight
We had no USA phone and when we got to Federal Circle there was no courtesy phone to ask the hotel to collect us. The other van that said Comfort Inn on it said it was going to another property and that we had to call- we had no USA change, and no USA phone yet activated, it was a stress we could have done without at that hour

Breakfast room a bit small...
Location was good. Staff was professional and courteous.
I was disappointed not to have a small fridge and a small microwave as some other comfort inn that I stayed in the past. When I asked for one, I was told that those vanities are given on a first come basis, I know that was a lie. For $140 a night, I should have had one.
My room smelled like it used to be a smoking room and they tried to cover up the smell.

We chose it as it was close to the airport, so we could crash out and move to a city centre hotel next day. The room was large and the breakfast was pretty good, certainly surpassed our expectations. Self service but plenty to choose from, including freshly made waffles.
Décor was a bit tired and we waited a while for the shuttle bus at the airport. But it wouldn't put us off staying there.
Friendly, helpful staff, airport shuttle was convenient, easy to get to subway to NYC, very clean. Perfect for between flights.
Didn't realize we had to take Air Train to Federal Circle for pickup to hotel.
The rooms were extremely small and pricy. Not too far from alot of attractions but traffic was horrible always.

I checked in on 6/30/2014 and checked out on 7/1/2014. The day time receptionist was not professional at all. His face does not have any smile while talking. When I arrived with 5 suitcases, and 3 carry-on bags. The day time receptionist was just watching and no body from the hotel staff offered any help. I also asked him about any nearby restaurants that can provide delivery to the hotel, he answered 3 wards with mask face check the room booklet!!. The 2nd floor corridor did not smell good. The room 206 was too cramped with 2 queen beds look like full size not queen size. The disk looks old with many scratches. The disk chair was not clean. When I went down stairs to use the reception computer to do my flight check in, I did not find it free. However, the night shift receptionist who was nicer than the day shift one, offered to do my flight check in through his computer for free. Moreover, my kids and my wife were disappointed when they learned that the breakfast did not include any Omelet, and when we asked the lady working there she said the owlet is prepared at 8 am!!!!!!!. I should be at the airport at 7 AM. I paid $167 for one night and it really did not worth it I strongly recommend you guys improve your services since you represent the face of New York. Decision is yours
