If you arrive for a late check-in like we did be prepared to hunt for the office as there are no lighted signs to direct you to the right location. As we were checking in I asked for a ground floor room and the friendly receptionist quickly found one for us. Great! We had some heavy baggage and golf bags to lug. She told us that we needed to get our parking pass from the concierge and when we were finished with her our room keys would be ready. The concierge was there to sign us up for a time share presentation! She promised us it would only take 90 minutes and would be rewarded with on-site breakfast and 10-15% discounts to a selection of local activities. I've been through these types of presentations and they NEVER take 90 mins. Realistically, 3 hours is really what you're in for with some high pressure sales pitches and endless waves of sales managers. We respectfully declined and were released to pick up our room key. Honestly, if I knew this was a time share property I would not have booked here. When we found our room we discovered it was upstairs with no elevator. I can't help but feel that since we decided not to sit through the time share sales pitch they switched the room on us. I called the front desk and complained to the same person who promised us a ground floor room. She said she would look for one and call back. While we were waiting we discovered that the room had some other issues like a phone that didn't work, light bulbs that needed replacement and an unusual odor we couldn't identify. The room was decorated in dismal orange and brown tones and you could clearly hear sounds from the adjoining rooms. But after waiting 20 minutes we decided to stay in the room since we had an early morning tee time and needed to get to sleep after a long travel day. Instead of staying three nights we would leave after one. I called down to the front desk to tell them of the issues and our decision to leave after one night.
The pool was wonderful.
We made our reserved a king size bed and got a full size. It was our wedding night. I was disappointed.
Pool and slide...when it was open
Didn't get room I requested. Furnishings were dated...naughahide and fabric couch. Old style TVs. Bad room services...daily requests for more coffee and supplies and bath items. Generally customer service was none existent. What there was seem like it was drudgery for them. No concerns for customers. My wife and I were disappointed.
The pool area was nice.
#1 we didn't get the room we booked. The staff was rude when I asked about it and said they were booked. I met a family the next morning who were just "passing by", saw the place, and stopped for the weekend. They took the timeshare tour. Guess what? They did have the type of room I had originally booked all of a sudden. #2 the room are poorly designed. Not sure how much the builder charges them for things, but you sit on the toilet and get stabbed on the back if the arm pit by the sink. And other things like that. #3 Credit card to lock the safe? Really? #4 it poured and there was nowhere to go to take cover. Even to go up the stairs to the room was very slippery because there was nothing covering them from the rain. #5. There is NO insulation between floors. I could hear the people above talking (not screaming) at 2 am. Should I go on?
Nice rooms and pool
Spiders and crickets everywhere! Poor bar service at pool area and no onsite restaurant.
I do not like how you cannot check in until 4:00PM AND you have to checkout at 10:00AM that is ONLY 13 hours. ?????
Everything was good. Enjoyed my stay. Would do it again.
Had no complaints.
That the manager tried to make things right by refunding us some money of our visit.
The fact that the carpets were filthy the bed was dirty, and that we had to call 2-3 times to get issues resolved, such as fresh linens when we found our bed dirty upon check-in.
Pool was a great area for cooling off. Great for children.
Special events coordinator wanted to charge room rates higher than available online, and would not come down on price. To rent event room and have liquor required payment for a minimum of 50 people even though only for 25, which was excessive. Thus, they did not get the rental. Carpet and tile in room was filthy. Had to wear shoes or have black feet. Very disturbing with small children who play on the floor. Staff did not make beds or linen exchange on daily basis. For one of the rooms of our group, the sheets had not been changed before our party checked in, necessitating a late night change of sheets. A half day refund was given. Single elevator for two buildings caused extensive delays, and cleaning staff had to use this same elevator with garbage and soiled linen. Check-in process was extremely lengthy and staff seemed marginally trained, having to get Manager to resolve simple questions of guests. Deck around the pool was very hot. Another guest make comment that there is paint that reflects the heat to minimize likelihood of burning bottom of feet.
Family loved the pool! Also had western pictures taken for a great price on the property!
Our bed was a bit hard and the iron in our room did not work.
Beautiful resort. The lagoon pool is excellent!
The construction is LOUD! The staff wouldn't do anything for us to get us away from the noise on our vacation. The kids woke up super early due to it. Thanks for ruinin that part of the vacation! Plus there's no parking at night. Have fun walking .5 mi at night and leaving your car on the public street.
Everything this home for me and my family when come to AZ
Layout of 2 bedroom casita was very conducive to this weekend getaway with friends.
Light switches throughout casita were very confusing.
Pool was awesome!!!!
We unfortunately did not housekeeping done. There was a mix up with what kind of reservation we were under.
The kids liked the pool.
My room didn't have a remote for the tv. The next day we were not given more coffee or condiments for the coffee. My son didn't sleep well in the pull out bed he said u could feel all the springs on his back.
The facility was beautiful!!
We were told by booking.com and by someone at hotel's 800 number that we would have a jacuzzi in one of our rooms. We had adjoining, master suite and junior suite. It was not in writing, but I was told, on the phone, twice ... you will definitely have the jacuzzi. When we arrived, we did not have one and were told that there was no guarantee and none were available. Very dissappointing.
Poor service from booking.com and Blugreen reservations. Dated decor, living area had no natural light, uncomfortable sofa bed, cheezy spa.
Beautiful place and very courteous and helpful staff. Pool was very, very, nice and beautiful and liked that is was heated for the kids to swim in.
Our card keys had to be replaced everyday as they would de-magnetize. The beds were not overly comfortable.
