Richard Brown, the Maitre' d Hotel, coordinates the dining room events with poise and diplomacy. He and his team are dedicated to our guest's comfort and contentment. The Cricket offers a variety of diversions to suit every taste. Lighter fare prepared in The Palace kitchen provides traditional selections with its own special touch. (The Cricket's famous Tuna Melt has been a favorite far and wide!) In the afternoons, one may hear the melodious strains of harp music waft throughout the soaring eight-story atrium. As evening approaches, solo piano performances by Herb Kirchner may be heard. On the weekends, the Herb Kirchner Jazz Trio spices up the night. Valet parking available for lunch and dinner.

Our elegant queen rooms will surround you in rich textures and colors. Accented by the warm wooden tones of the furniture with stark ebony inlay, the russet hues in the wood are beautifully offset by the majestic blue color found in the fabric both bed and chairs. This room will also charm you with its inner view of our eight-story atrium above and banquet space below. The bath includes a seperate dressing area, and full length mirrors. Some baths have dual head showers and offer tub/shower combo for spacious comfort and luxury.

Our newly renovated Luxury Whirlpool suites are located in the corner of our hotel, thus allowing more windows in the room for beautiful illumination which contributes to a natural, airy feel. It is almost as if the sky itself has created this sumptuous suite with its hues of blue and cream. The blue and cream decor evident in the creamy scrolling flourishes on the wooden furniture and blue accents found peppered throughout the bedroom contribute to its feeling of lightness. The king-sized bed is surrounded in a symphony of blue and cream, which is perfectly manifest in the striking inlay of a blue border in the cream carpet. The bathroom, with its whirlpool bathtub captures a feeling of nature. White tile gives it a brightness highlighted by the black scrolling waves found in a perfect band around the room. This suite where the sky meets the water will certainly captivate and pamper you with its effortless beauty and elegance.

A Superior King-bedded room that is accessible for those guests with special needs. The decor is similar to our Superior King room: blues and mauves with black accents, which give the room an elegant, sleek feel. It is slightly larger than our Standard Queen-bedded room for greater maneuverability, and the spacious bath is fully equipped for easy access. This Standard, King-bedded room will accommodate each guest in its vast elegance. The Cincinnatian Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Cincinnati.
The Greater Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport is 18 miles from the hotel, approximately a 30-minute drive.
With Fountain Square only two blocks going southeast and the Convention Center to the west, you will find getting around town is easy from the hotel
Here are some transportation options to consider:
Jet ‘Port Express
Jetport is an airport shuttle service that can be found outside the airport baggage claim areas of Terminals 1, 2, and 3 and across the street from the hotel every 30 minutes from 5:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., with the first bus leaving the airport at 5:30 a.m. and from downtown at 6:00 a.m. and the last bus leaving both the airport and downtown at 11:00 p.m. The Jetport is the most economical way to travel from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. This is bus transportation and you may purchase a one-way ticket for $12.00-adults, $10.00-seniors or a round trip fare for $16.00-adults and $13.00-seniors. Tickets may be purchased at booths located outside the baggage claim areas of Terminals 1, 2 and 3 or from the bus driver.
Taxi Service:
Taxis can be found outside the airport for travel to the hotel. Once at the hotel our doorman will be happy to assist you in hailing a cab. Travel to and from the airport typically costs $25.00.
