The location close to thecasino. The meal at the hotel restaurant was excellent. The shuttle service drivers were great and friendly.
Didn't like the price of alcoholic beverages at the hotel bar. The receptionist upon checkin was a bit harried and unfriendly. Could've been a little more courteous...
The place was clean and neat. The restaurant was good.
The heater was terribly loud. To the point where we would wake up every time it would come on. We could not turn it off because it was very cold and the blankets were thin and few.
Heater was not working... Blowing cold air had to leave it off and turn shower on to create steam....
Inside facility linking rooms. Ease to parking. Price.
Coffee pot didn't work. Old style tube tv had to be pulled out of hutch to find the electric cord to plug in (took two people), Need to upgrade to HD. Room phone not connected, could not call front desk.
Like the bed, location of casino was detached which was a big negative.
Hotel and casino not being attached.
It was covenient for going to bandelier NM
The room was somehow dusty and could't stop sneezing.
There was a slight odor in the room.
Breakfasts was good on prices, restaurant closed too early
Casino was across parking lot
Cities of Gold is located between Santa Fe, Taos, and Los Alamos the perfect spot for someone coming to NM for sightseeing. I was pleasantly surprised by the furnishings, the bed, linens and pillows were very comfortable. The price was better than many places and I was very pleased with all the facilities. The restaurant also served a lovely breakfast at a reasonable price. I'll stay there again when I go back.
Close to casino. Refrigerator in room was great.
Booked a smoking king, that wasn't what I got. Had to settle for a double room. Booked 1mo in advance did get what I booked.
Convenient location to the event we attended.
Lack of cleanliness in bathroom (mildew, dried drops of mysterious items on counter and walls), stained towels, coffee was opened and missing, air conditioner did not get cold, no coffee in lobby.
toilet seat needs replacement, pretty worn out
