The location is really walking distance to the the center, which is also a little bit of disadvantage due to lot of homeless people, but during the day its ok. Very nice cafe and roastery next door and pizza place around the corner.

Location as mentioned above. We got advise not to go further up 7th street to the center as it goes through the worst part of the city ( take 5th or less instead). We found also silverfish bugs underneath the carpet but they should be harmless. Breakfast is cup of coffee and juice per host and one muffin so if you go later, nothing remains:)

The localization was pretty close to where I needed to go everyday. The hotel was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

They said that breakfast was included, but when arrived it was described as a "light breakfast", which means basically bread, one cup of juice and coffee. Never minded to check after this description, and went out to eat breakfast in other place.

The staff were friendly.

The elevator was not working and we climbed 3 flights everyday for seven days. I have knee problems and my roommate is using a cane. This was so unfair for us. There is a regulation for people with disability.

We were charged twice for our one-day stay. Why?

It was a good location and the rooms were clean. The place was very comfortable. The area is an up and coming hippie/hipster area. There are a few cool and interesting restaurants and bars to go to in less than a 5 minute walk.

At night this area is SUPER sketchy. We arrived late ~2am and wanted to get something to eat and walked down 2 blocks to market street. The neighborhood is not nice at night. Be careful. Also, I didn't realize it was a motel. You enter the room from outside.

The employees, one at the front desk and the other seemed to do it all were absolutely wonderful. Their caring spirit made our stay a delight. Our son was having surgery at Kaiser and these women were great. I wish I had their names. I wish more people were like the two of them. They worked days.

Not being use to the big city you are right there and I believe a lot of homeless and street people but I felt safe and that was important to us. Not that we went anywhere after dark but we were safe and slept well.

Clean bedding, including the spread. The front dest staff were excellent in their knowledge of the area and in their engaging of guests.

Unpainted, incompletely plastered one foot by two foot patch in the bed room ceiling.

Location to transportation center and no charge to park on site.

Noisy, awful&dangerous part of the city (poverty, beggars...),poor breakfast, smells weed at every city corner and in the hotel, quarrels at night

Now I understood this wasn't going to be the Four Seasons. - But no working television. Jesus Christ... It was just really "Low Rent" period. A dubious room description on line leading to an additional charge (20.00 per night) to get two double beds. Outrageous! No maid service the next day...

the bed was not comfortable, and the sheets kept coming off leaving only the plastic bed cover.

Everything was just fine except one thing.

Next time have more TV channels.

heater doesnt workin they give us a littlle portable one it was not enough, breakfast is only a pie and coffee, totally not satisfied

It was a block away from the club we were going to and the price was under $100 which is hard to find.

Elevator was broken and had to use stairs. Quite a bit of Pot smoking going on but it is close to the clubs.

I really enjoyed the staff. They were exceedingly pleasant and helpful.

The staff was rude, they made a copy of my bank card and couldn't/wouldn't provide a written copy of hotel policy. Tried to refuse our room and then gave us no refund when we asked for our money back. Worst place in the city, easily.
