Carpet very stinking!!! already in the Hall!!! No Service,Kontroll. Very noisy air conditioning all the Night!
Locked parking garage.
The paint was peeling off the walls. The toilet was dirty and had hairs on it. The blow dryer was so old id never seen anything like it and it didnt dry my hair at all! Which says a lot since my hair is short and above my chin. I stood over the air vent, and it did a better job! The tv didnt have a remote. There was no ice machine in our building. Since we werent in the main building breakfast was served across the street and inconvenient.
I was pleasantly surprised they do have free parking. In fact, it's somewhat secure parking too. If you have a big truck like me, first off, don't take it to SF (duh!). Second, the parking is tight when you initially drive into the lot, but the back uncovered, but enclosed, lot is spacious.
I understand rooms need to be cleaned and inspected, before you can allow your guests to check-in, but give me a break! We knew check-in wasn't until 3pm, but we figured they might let us get in an hour early or so. WRONG! We actually got to town, very early, like 12:30pm. We talked to the front desk, offered to even pay for half the previous night's stay, just to get a nap. We could see the housekeepers had already finished with several rooms. We told them all we would need was some fresh towels and sheets and they didn't even have to clean. So, we offered the front desk person $40, offered to also pay for the entire night before (out our awesome Booking.com rate, of course) and they didn't even have to clean the room…. Still no. We were granted 15 minutes early check-in. Having said that, I can't really complain about too much else. Keep in mind we were only staying the one night (maybe 5-6 hours of sleep). It is noisy and right next to a busy road. Bed is hard, a/c was full blast or nothing (but we were in SF, so..) and the remote button was stuck, so we had to hide it or take the batteries out, or it kept turing on/off. There, thats all the negativity.
Free on-site parking. Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast place around the corner.
No working ice machine in our building---had to go to main office across the street for ice. Absolutely would not check anyone in until exactly 3 p.m.
The staffin the reception are friendly and helpful especially Ivy who organized the booking. Also the lady in charged of the breakfast. I think her name is Rose.
The breakfast is terrible. The coffee and juice is alright except the rest that are sweet, good for afternoon snack.
Wifi is a joke, whilst it was available in the room it was shockingly slow.
The linens were clean - staff were professional
state of the building itself is in ruins. The floor in the bathroom was cracked and actually dangerous. The building needs renovation. It's worth the money though.
Room was tidy, bed was comfortable.
The neighborhood around the hotel was seedy. I definitely would not want to be out at night alone -- I wasn't all that comfortable walking by myself during the day. Blow dryer didn't work well. Elevator didn't open at my floor. Vending machines didn't dispense. Wifi slow.
-The front staff. - The coridor & room, very bad smell. And we must cross the street to reach the room after we check-in. - The location, There are much of houseless near the htl.
Extremely overpriced. We paid dearly for the location.
Glad I booked here in spite of the negative postings . Good value.

A bit of a rough area
Ice machine in our wing didn't work. Had to cross the street several times
That the alarm went off in the middle of the night right next to our room.
Nothing Other 1 star hotel ran rings around this place
Wifi did not work A/C did not work Very hot in room Very noisy with people above and walking past Bright lights outside room Toilet blocked up - needed to get plunger and unblock ourselves Staff did not care Unable to go out as no parks left Did not stay as could not sleep Management not interested and charged credit- will not pay and currently disputing credit card
Management. Housekeepers seemed to have too much work, aka not enough of them. Unprofessional in getting back to you. Absurd variable booking rates.
Close to some sights in sf
Very small rooms. Do not trust the pictures.
Didn't like at all.
Pricy, old, hot and bad smell of rotten wood like smell of mold.
City center in was fair in terms of the cost relative to the facility provided. It appears to be an old place but quite clean
the housekeeping was good, the nights were quiet
The toilet flush was out of order :), so you should find another place to take a rest.
The bed was comfortable. The sheets and bathroom were clean...
...but the floors, walls, and curtains had not been cleaned in a very long time.

Room card keys don't work properly. A/C, a lamp on the bed-side table, and some of outlets were broken. Room cleaning ladies disturb before 9am. "Do not disturb" was a hand-writing piece of paper. Towels were torn and had stains and number of towels were short every day. Front staff are dull. Still old (cathode-ray tube) TV.
Very outdated, toilet not flushing properly, poor breakfast, for the.money they charge they should bê able to upgrade and fix their rooms.
