Great value, secure parking.
It's about three blocks from 'nice' downtown. The locals seem to walk round arguing with themselves. A bit seedy, but real. Walk with purpose and you're fine.
Is so conviniant
Is closed to everywhere
Everything but staff
First they gave us a little room no elevators so I had to upgrade.the cable channels were regular tv.rats in courtyard
central location, friendly staff, free parking lot
small rooms, the room we first checked in to was not ready, had to switch room.
its pretty easy to get ther, has parking lot, it is easy to go to the airport from the hotel
too noisy, close to the street. The clean women knocked the door at 3 pm we were taking a nap. The front desk lady called us at 8 am to find out if we were going to pay the next day!!! very unpolite!! Room too small really very very small
Dirty, bugs everywhere, and no elevator
Location for me was great because it was close to my job. The room was clean. Wifi access was good.
The bed was the only thing that bothered me in the room
The hotel was located only a few blocks walk from Union Square and close to buses that could take you to the tourist attractions. There were a few nice cafes/bars around the corner. The free parking was also great and seemed like the only place that offered it
We stayed in a two bed suite which was pretty basic. The two TVs in the room were very old and the picture was bad and you needed to stand up to change channel and volume as the remotes didn't work! We were only given one mug for the coffee maker although there were actually two of us staying. The room was in the building across the street on its own and felt a bit isolated from the reception etc
The sign is the parking lot that they are not responsible of the car while the parking half close
Carpet very stinking!!! already in the Hall!!! No Service,Kontroll. Very noisy air conditioning all the Night!
Quite, located near coffee shop
Room across street in an annex, no refrigerator, only 1 pack of coffee
Locked parking garage.
The paint was peeling off the walls. The toilet was dirty and had hairs on it. The blow dryer was so old id never seen anything like it and it didnt dry my hair at all! Which says a lot since my hair is short and above my chin. I stood over the air vent, and it did a better job! The tv didnt have a remote. There was no ice machine in our building. Since we werent in the main building breakfast was served across the street and inconvenient.
I was pleasantly surprised they do have free parking. In fact, it's somewhat secure parking too. If you have a big truck like me, first off, don't take it to SF (duh!). Second, the parking is tight when you initially drive into the lot, but the back uncovered, but enclosed, lot is spacious.
I understand rooms need to be cleaned and inspected, before you can allow your guests to check-in, but give me a break! We knew check-in wasn't until 3pm, but we figured they might let us get in an hour early or so. WRONG! We actually got to town, very early, like 12:30pm. We talked to the front desk, offered to even pay for half the previous night's stay, just to get a nap. We could see the housekeepers had already finished with several rooms. We told them all we would need was some fresh towels and sheets and they didn't even have to clean. So, we offered the front desk person $40, offered to also pay for the entire night before (out our awesome Booking.com rate, of course) and they didn't even have to clean the room…. Still no. We were granted 15 minutes early check-in. Having said that, I can't really complain about too much else. Keep in mind we were only staying the one night (maybe 5-6 hours of sleep). It is noisy and right next to a busy road. Bed is hard, a/c was full blast or nothing (but we were in SF, so..) and the remote button was stuck, so we had to hide it or take the batteries out, or it kept turing on/off. There, thats all the negativity.
Free on-site parking. Very clean room. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast place around the corner.
No working ice machine in our building---had to go to main office across the street for ice. Absolutely would not check anyone in until exactly 3 p.m.
The staffin the reception are friendly and helpful especially Ivy who organized the booking. Also the lady in charged of the breakfast. I think her name is Rose.
The breakfast is terrible. The coffee and juice is alright except the rest that are sweet, good for afternoon snack.
Wifi is a joke, whilst it was available in the room it was shockingly slow.
The linens were clean - staff were professional
state of the building itself is in ruins. The floor in the bathroom was cracked and actually dangerous. The building needs renovation. It's worth the money though.
Room was tidy, bed was comfortable.
The neighborhood around the hotel was seedy. I definitely would not want to be out at night alone -- I wasn't all that comfortable walking by myself during the day. Blow dryer didn't work well. Elevator didn't open at my floor. Vending machines didn't dispense. Wifi slow.
-The front staff. - The coridor & room, very bad smell. And we must cross the street to reach the room after we check-in. - The location, There are much of houseless near the htl.
Extremely overpriced. We paid dearly for the location.
Glad I booked here in spite of the negative postings . Good value.
location gay friendly cleanliness free parking comfort
Price Location Free parking
A bit of a rough area
Ice machine in our wing didn't work. Had to cross the street several times
