The hotel is located in a very good spot for shopping, walking around and good eating. The atmosphere of the hotel is special and it has a touch of elegance. Perhaps you can find that the lightning is poor, but it belongs to the decoration, you can enhance it anytime. The hotel satff was very polite and prepared to assist you in any minute. The only thing I would improve would be the poor relationship to the outside. If I opened the window I found a brick wall close to it, like in a bad horror film. I couldn not sleep a night because a standing nose like a hammer tapping continously for hours. |

Close to all city attractions. Very helpful concierge desk, found tickets for a basketball match the next day within minutes. Free internet with printing was great. The room was quite stuffy, despite the air conditioning. Also it might be worth showing a plan of a petite room as it is quite difficult to visualise just how small it is from the photos. Some tiles were lifting off the floor in the bathroom and rooms just a little bit worn. |

Location, and general atmosphere. Size of the room (too small), and the fact that we had a roach in our room and the manager didn't offer to change our room, in fact it seemed that it was not is problem, that it was normal.... I will never stay there again |

A good shower and great complimentary toiletries, the goodnight cookies Dark corridors, no decent reception/lobby area, the two rooms I tried - both had noisy ac units and are the first us rooms I have stayed in that did not have coffee making facilities - the first had a pipe on the outside wall which made a loud noise all through the night - the second which I asked to be moved to so I could get some sleep was about half the size but charged at the same rate - the wardrobe was only tall enough for a jacket and you had to move the desk to open the wardrobe door. The cost - I have stayed in far better places for considerably less; this hotel is the worst value I have ever experienced - even after they conceded a 50usd reduction because of the noise in the first room. |

The convenience of the location. Clean and well maintiained. Helpful staff and the daily fresh cookies! The room we had only had one window that was dirty and looked out into back area. So there was no real light. Other than that it was a lovely room and very nice small city hotel. |

The location was excellent, the staff responsive and friendly, and the design of the room (though small) and bathroom (gorgeous and large), top-notch. I enjoyed having the NY Times at the door every morning, and the delivery of choclate chip cookies every evening. The most unfortunate aspect of our particular room was the lack of good lighting, whether in the room or bathroom. Natural light was basically non-existent. Without the ability to crack open the windows, we relied on the air conditioning system - even then it was often stuffy and warm during the night. |

Hotel is walking distance from numerous activities in and around Times Square yet located down a side street which reduces traffic and pedestrian noise. Great location to walk to almost anywhere |

Staff very friendly & helpful, location superb just off 5th Avenue & also close enough to walk a few blocks across to Times Square. Rooms very clean, beds made dailey & plenty of towels too. Would definately stay their on our next visit to New York!! No tea or coffee making facilities in room, but a great coffee shop across the road & there happy for you to bring it into the hotel. |

It was the most exceptional staff (front desk, doormen, restaurant) of any hotel in which I've stayed. It is small, so I expect they have fewer names and faces to remember, but it was quite impressive. The bathroom was exceptionally well laid out - particularly since I stayed in a petite room. The rate was about 15% lower than the other hotels on the block, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. The bed was not the most comfortable I've had in a hotel. It was not uncomfortable. I would try to brighten the hallways a bit. The decor is stylish and ambiance tranquil, but it is a bit too dark when you get on and off the elevator. |

By NY standards it was like staying in someones house!! Small, intimate, and very friendly, I was travelling alone on this trip and it was like returning to peace and calm after the madness of the city. Location was fantastic. A wonderful welcome on arrival. Quirky, unusual and would recommend it to anyone for a really relaxing stay in NY. Thank you. |

Location, size, amenities (internet access, restaurant, room service). Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The total experience was positive! We would definately come back to City Club in New York. Restaurant was a bit overpriced for amount of food served. |

The location is great, the room was large enough for 4 people, loved the day bed. The idea with the TV behind the mirror wasn't good at all as, while watching, you can see your reflection or the lights instead of what's on. It was also too expensive for what it offered other than the location. |

Nice hotel staff, nice looking room (not the usual bad/cheap taste hotel room look). During the stay we were several times positively suprised by different aspects of the services from this hotel, and it definately added to the enjoyment of our stay in Manhattan. The location in midtown is simply right on the spot for a lot of this things we did. (top of the rocks, moma, theater, times square and shopping etc.) We definately recommend this hotel to others. |
