The friendly and helpful staff. The room is clean and well maintained. They also gave chocolate cookies in the evening. The Petite Room is very very small if 2 person is staying.

The City Club Hotel is a wonderful place to stay in nyc. The staff makes to hotel as luxurious as any in the nyc. The king room is plenty large enough for two people. The closet space is small however we had more than enough space to hang four night of clothing for two adults. The floors are a little dated but very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. The added bonus of two warm cookies with turn down service was a wonderful surprise at the end of the evening. The think the thing to remember when booking at the cch is that you are staying boutique hotel and to sit back and enjoy the hotel along with the savings. Great location, great service and we will stay there again. The floors and carpet are a little dated but very clean. Great hotel!

Location (between 6th and 5th Avenues) is ideal for shopping and sightseeing. It’s 5 minutes away from the Time Square, MoMA, nbc Studio, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Centre, Empire State Building and many more. Hotel Staff is very friendly and helpful! And.. Fresh chocolate cookies they use to leave in the room every day were lovely :) The Petite room would be too small for 2 people I guess but if you travelling by yourself its fine :)

It is a wonderful hotel. Kind of expensive but I guess that's fair in New York Standards.

I booked the hotel because of the location and it was available for the nights we needed. And I was very pleased with my choice. Thought the price a little steep.

A bit pricey but clean and comfortable. I'd heard a lot about the service but not quite what I had expected. If you stay, I hope the front desk tells you at check in a bit about the room: location of the tv and how to use the bathtub. Boutique hotel describes this hotel the best. If you're looking for amenities like a spa, hot tub or pool, this won't be for you, but if you intend to take in Broadway shows or go to Times Square, this location is great. Try the Greek Restaurant a few doors down to the east, and Carmine's to the west. The price.

Everything. Honestly lovely place, great location, superb service and comfortable room. We received free upgrade with a terrace on the top of the building. Truly recommend this option don't know price difference but worth it. You've got partial view on Chrysler building. Stone throw to grand central and times square both 3 min walk. Central park 20 min.

City Club is very well located, close to the 5th Avenue, Time Squares, Empire State Building, Grand Central. I was in ny for work and the location was perfect for the client I was meeting with, 4 streets away from their office. Hotel Staff was nice and helpful. Room was nice and clean, I got upgraded free of charge. I stayed there for 8 nights and would certainly go back again if I wanted to stay in Midtown East.

The location, close to nice place to have breakfast with good prices. Also times squarewas not to far. Righr around the corner was a small place to shop for a quick sandwich, or anything you may need like a litrle store. The hotel was more than I expected. Was up graded to a beatiful jr suite with a huge window. Very happy as I was traveling by myself.

The towels were soft and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping staff were excellent. Relatively quiet room. Tiny rooms, windows facing air shafts, dark elevator, no rugs or carpet on floor, no surfaces on which to place needed items. Smells from kitchen below. Staff was rude at check out and Leo would not have spoken the way he did to a man. Very offensive.

Lovely staff, refined and exclusive property, good location close to Times Square and shopping, great bathroom, very nice room amenities. Excellent value for money. Would like to have rated excellent for Service Facilities except WIFI hardly worked in our room, TV behind mirror clever, but kept failing, and although bathroom was large and beautiful, the bathtub took forever to fill up. Minor faults though, all in all it was lovely.

The hotel is in an exceptional position if you are a first time visitor NYC. All the "must see" spots are in a close distance. We were there for our honeymoon and we got an automatic upgrade from a queen to a king size room, which was big enough to accomodate for every reasonable couple. Next time we will be in NY, we would prefer to stay in a less touristic neighborhood such as Soho, Meatpacking District, etc, that are in some distance from City Club Hotel.

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed in while in New York. It was also the most expensive, but Worth it. The restaurant is one of our favorites, after a long day at work the hamburger for room service is awesome!!! The location was with in a half mile to the broadway show we attended and a mile and a half from the Javits convention center. The staff is lovely and the room immaculate, and large...the bathroom was larger than the one in my own home:). Finally it was quite, no street traffic and No Smokers!!! I will definitely be back and pay a little extra...I Felt like I was at the Ritz:)

Convenient center city. Great restaurant attached. Inexpensive. Discount parking across the street. Quiet. Pleasant staff. Very well-stocked mini- bar. V comfortable bed. Easy to get a cab or town car. They allowed me the change arrival date by a day at the last minute w/o penalty. Service and staff excellent. Advertised hi speed internet but the service was spotty and slow and sometimes impossible completely. City Club Hotel is so buried among other large buildings that cell phone reception is impossible. For this alone I wouldn't return. Incredibly frustrating when seeking to search for venues. Phone booth size room. Tiny closet. Gotta get out of bed to turn off reading lights?!! Room had no city guide books, brochures, publications.
