New York Central MOMA Apartments  

The building and room were decrepit. There was a gas leak from the stove. The room was generally unpleasant. The wooden floor was old and dirty. Some of the light switches did not work. The television was small. The bed was noisy. The only light by the bed was dim and had an annoying color. Also the building had no elevator and was dirty. The steps were poorly designed. Having to get the key at another location was also a big negative. I would not recommend your service to anyone and believe that the “hotel” was way overpriced for what was offered. By rights I should got a refund of what I paid. To call this type of room a suite is a misnomer Sincerely, Harry Chafetz

The situation is superb, couldn't be better for what we wanted. But there are definite problems.

The property has nothing what so ever to do with MOMA - and the property seems to be called many different names. Not sure MOMA would want their name used to encourage bookings for another company! The first problem is the state of the entry hall and the torn carpets on the stairs. It is so off putting that we almost didn't walk up. We stopped inviting our friends after the first visitor was so disgusted. There's also a stale smell in the hallway that a deodoriser would take care of very quickly and that would make entering a better experience. It's deceitful to advertise air conditioning when it is only in the kitchen: I'd be very angry if I were in New York in a really hot spell and couldn't sleep because of the heat, especially in the second bedroom. It's not as though one can open the windows, as they are painted in. While we are speaking about the kitchen, it's quite wrong not to have basic ingredients supplied. There should be bread, milk, butter, juice, eggs, salt and pepper - at least., as a Welcome Hamper/whatever. If I were operating the company I would also include coffee for the coffee-maker and tea bags/ herbal tea bags. And something with which to light the gas!!!! Surely this is standard practice in the US, just as it is in the rest of the world? After long travel from the UK and then the nonsense and added expense of having to go to your office to pay the balance and then travel across NY when the temps were 100 degrees, it was very inhospitable to find we had to go out to shop. Just as well we had brought tea bags. The cost of all this to you would be minimal compared to the pleasure and welcome it would give. It is dishonest not to say that the second bedroom opens off the main bedroom: this creates all sorts of problems of privacy; ok if it is a family perhaps but not with couples or singles. And further to the above, once the door is closed to the second bedroom it is impossible to get any air in or out.

Nothing. Worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. Old, daggy, none too clean and nothing worked. Smell of gas on arrival and had to ring to get sorted. Sheets too small for bed, towels daggy and old and not even basics like bowls or can opener. Tap in bathroom wouldn't turn off and nearly caused flooding. Worst was the fact fuses kept blowing and oven, tv and wifi not working when we arrived. Turn toaster on, fuses blow. Same with iron, air conditioner etc. Disgraceful and the company renting should be ashamed. Do not rent.

Everything. This apartment should not be advertised with a reputable firm like yours.

Very Good location!

There is no lift. No bell boy. One has to collect the key of your room from a different address. A/c is very old and doesnt function properly.

This apartment was selected on the basis of its location and the association with MOMA, which I discovered was simply that both are on 53rd Street, although some considerable distance apart.

The apartment was old and run down. The apartment was on the third floor and there was no elevator The shower leaked and sprayed water all over the bathroom. The second bedroom turned out to be converted bathroom off the first bedroom, through which it was necessary to pass to reach the second bedroom. This apartment was meant to accommodate six persons who was very crowded with only three of us. The description and the website is very misleading

Do tamanho em geral. Cozinha, louças... Quarto grande e sala confortavel.

O aquecedor é bem fraco, mas o apartamento já é quente pois fica fechado e não entra frio.

Localização, praticidade e privacidade são os pontos fortes do MOMA 237 53º st 3B. Tem metro e mercados nos arredores para comodidade do hóspede, bem como vários restaurantes, cafés e lojas. É possível conhecer a pé, muitos dos principais pontos de NY, Central ParK, Empire State, Central Station, Chrysler Building, Rooselvelt Island, Roockefeller Center, 5º AV, MOMA Galerie, Columbus Circule, Metropolitan Opera, Bloomingdales shops. O apartamento é simples, mas tem todo o conforto para uma bela estadia em NY. Adoramos! Liz e Eduardo

O horário de check in e check out poderia ser diferentes. Sugerimos uma faixa entre 11h e 14 h. Falta opção de guarda - malas, pois não tem recepção.

Att vi bara fick en uppsättning med nycklar. Mycket lyhört från gatan, öronproppar underlättar nattsömnen=)

Roupas de cama e banho limpas e apartamento tbm limpo

1) Chegar em Nova York cansada, com criança e com malas e ainda tendo que buscar as chaves num local distante. 2)subir três lances de escada com malas. 3) Não havia metrô funcionando perto do hotel, tivemos que andar muito.

Bien situé, près de plusieurs restaurants, métro, épicerie, appels internationaux gratuits, wi-fi. Rapport qualité prix excellent directement dans la ville.

Endroit éloigner pour aller chercher les clés...

La ubicación, comodidad y precio

Falta de limpieza a la entrada del edificio, Equipos de aire acondicionados chicos y antiguos ( no es suficiente para pleno verano)

La situation géographique, le prix relativement doux pour New-York.

Devoir aller chercher les clé dans un lieu situé a 3km de l'endroit où on réisde. Le 3eme étage sans ascenseur. Les parties communes de l'appartement justes immondes. Un lit qui grince au delà de ce qui est admissible, l'air condtionné archi-bruyant, inutilisable quand on est dans l'appartement, la salle de bain trop petite avec une douche pathétique...

Distance de marche entre Central Park et Times Square. Plusieurs choix de restaurants, bon rapport qualité-prix.

Manque un peu de confort et d'ustensils de cuisine.

La verdad es que disfrutamos mucho del apartamento. Es muy confortable contar con dos habitaciones, especialmente viajando con dos niños. El acceso, no se ve muy bien, pero luego de subir un piso por escalera, el departamento es muy confortable. Cuenta con todo lo necesario para descansar, cocinar, e internet. Es un poco molesto, retirar las llaves por otra dirección, ya que uno llega muy cansado del vuelo. Volvería, sin dudas!

El apartamento está bien ubicado y tiene un metro cerca. Bien decorado y moderno. El último día, al dejar el apartamento puedes dejar las maletas en la oficina.

Inaceptable el tener que ir a buscar las llaves demasiado lejos en unas oficinas, a 15 dolares de taxi o demasiadas paradas de metro cargados con las maletas. Solo te dan un juego de llaves y resulta incómodo si viajas con más personas y quieres tu propia libertad.

Toimi kuten pitääkin. Ei mitään luksusta, mutta toimiva ja perussiisti ratkaisu. Alue on ihan parasta mahdollista. Paljon palveluita. mm. lukuisia sellaisia ravintoloita, (ja pubeja) joissa paikalliset käyvät. Myös ruokakauppoja. Silti kohtuullisen hiljainen (ei siis aivan kokonaan) paikka. Metro lähellä.

Avain pitää hakea etukäteen noin 2 mailin päästä. E-metrolla pääsee kyllä aika lähelle.

La situation géographique, le wifi gratuit

Le confort (impossible de dormir sur des ressorts), le bruit, le couloir très sale, obligation de passer dans la première chambre pour entrer dans la deuxième, la salle de bain (toute petite)

Proximité de tout bien équipé vaisselle, draps, serviettes, ne manque plus que linges à vaisselle

Récupération des clés sur la 38e rue, matelas très mous et qui craquent beaucoup beaucoup!

Location, in the Middle of New York, Subway very close, Shops and Restaurants to choose in the street, on walking distance from the MoMa, we loved NEW YORK :)

Some small things; Curtain in Kitchen did not work, Head off the main Bed is not standing good, Some things in the kitchen would be nice, salt/pepper Oil, Water in the fridge, some Coffee just to have a small start, some extra Pillows would be nice, also extra set of Towels, special when you stay for a week.
