Score from 32 reviews Very good
Conveniently located just off the San Bernardino Freeway and close to the attractions of downtown Los Angeles, this West Covina hotel offers a variety of modern amenities and facilities.
Score from 90 reviews Very good
Swimming pool and tennis courts well-maintained. Beds were comfortable, quiet at night even though next to freeway.
TV remote control only worked within 4 feet of television set. Plus you had to aim it precisely at the remote signal or it would work. The alarm clock would make intermittent buzzing sounds so we had to unplug it. Also, the room had a faint musty smell to it.
Convenient location to both Claremont and Pomona, and L.A. Sufficient space, good bed. The pool.
Noise from the highway. Very modest breakfast
Located next to I10, but room insulation is good. Near to various restaurants and to a commercial area.
Busy traffic around the hotel.
Easy access to freeway, property was right next to Starbucks and Denny's, excellent for not having to drive in unfamiliar territory.
Tv did not work at first, but as soon as I called, maintenence fixed it quickly. I did NOT like the barking dogs in the room next to me. Had to call front desk to complain. Once I called, the dog's barking was less.
The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were clean. The continental breakfast had lots of goodies but was way too crowded to sit and enjoy the food. We ended up going to a nearby restaurant which had VERY good food!
The tennis courts are an eye soar and should be removed or cleaned up. The continental breakfast area is way too small for all of the guests who use it. We ended up going to a nearby restaurant instead to sit in comfort.
Everything about this Hotel is wonderful. The staff are incredible and go above and beyond to meet your needs.
The price, however not worth saving a few bucks!!
Room smelled of old cigarette smoke. Exterior hallways and stairs filthy. Loud crowd of people in and around pool area until past 11:00 PM. Towels and clothing hanging from balcony railings, to mention a few!!!!
Tennis courts; availability of breakfast
Yipping dogs at 6 am and other client yelling at the owners to keep their dogs quiet! Noisy air conditioner during the night.
Conveniently located near CGU campus, nice breakfast, very clean room.
Airconditioners as loud as a jet engine, rock hard beds, dog poop all over the lawn area, yapping dogs woke us up at 6 am., shallow cracked tub.
Located in the area we wanted to stay. Was given a refund without rebuttal.
Bait-n-Switch on so many levels. Given a smoking room, and told it was non-smoking. Strange people sitting in stairways, halls, and in front of our room talking and smoking. broken banisters, filthy grounds, dead plants, awful furniture, grimy hallways, loud TV in lobby, hand rails made out of rotten metal, spray-paint used to wipe out graffiti.
Dog show training outside starting at 6am on Sunday morning with dogs barking and people talking loud! We should have been alerted that this might inconvenience us. Not booking here again!
I thought the staff was polite and helpful at the desk.
When I arrived at the location between a Denny's and McDonalds it did not look at all like its pictures. It was tired and old looking as well as somewhat dated. The room was large but the decoration was completely bizarre. Lots of pieces that did not go together. The sheets on the bed was not fitted they used a flat sheet which was way too coarse and slipped off the bed. The towels were plentiful but thin and small. For the price I could have stayed somewhere else, and paid 20 more dollars for a bit more luxury. I would not recommend or stay at this location again. In addition I just realized they charged me 11 more dollars than you price quote.
good location, many shops in same square
Staff wrote wrong room number which make us go to wrong building
the clean up crew are amazing people. They deserve more
Unprofressional front desk staff. Low on staff in lobby office.
The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept on. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean. Overall, the hotel was fair. The good things were great, but the bad things were really bad.
The overnight staff was rude and very slow. The room itself had luxe furniture I would expect to find in much more expensive hotel. But the furniture was in a standard-size room, making it feel a bit crowded. Also, the hotel could use more variety in the continental breakfast. They wasn't even any decaf coffee.
It is pet friendly. Good internet. Near to colleges. Mini fridge. King size bed.
Old and tired accommodations. Next to freeway. Yard sale style furnishings, stained and worn. Unattractive pool. Unappetizing breakfast offerings. In a parking lot of fast-food restaurants.
they have a very nice staff. and have recently changed all the furniture in the rooms to be of better quality. the beds are comfortable and the rooms a very good size. it is great to have a good sized fridge in each room as well. my husban and son also had fun playing a little bit of tennis on their courts which are always available. if you have kids or dogs there is also a large grassy area for running around in.
it is time for them to upgrade their towels. they are very thin and small. we stay here a lot and whenever i can fit it, i bring a towel from home! th shower heads are also really low and hit you about shoulder level. raising them up would make a huge difference.
Easy access. Good price
Shabby Room. Like a Days Inn
Close to college.
Tv in one of the rooms did not work. Air conditioning was hard to regulate
The only affordable hotel we AAA members could find in Claremont! Comfortable and clean bed.
Moldy coffee bag in clearly unattended coffee-maker. Handle of hair dryer gooey and filthy. Freeway noise.
