There aren't any bugs!!!!! Great for traveling on a budget.
A great value for the price. For 34 dollars a day including all fees I feel that I got all I paid for and more. Having read a number of negative reviews I was leery, but anyone expecting more for the price have got to be living in a dream world. Found clean linens, working shower, air conditioner worked well. Fridge in room was a bonus.
No negative comments. Great value for the price.
The 1st room they put me into had no television, the 2nd room they put me into they tried to give to somebody else while I was in the room on Friday night. On Saturday night when I got back to the hotel my key wouldn't work, had to get the desk clerk to open my room. My bed hadn't been made. Overall the experience that I had with this hotel was very bad and I will never stay at this hotel again and would recommend that nobody stay here.
General manager is very rude to her employees
The receptionist and cleaning crew were very welcoming and professional.Price excellent. Not too far from Vegas action. Available transportation from/to airport. Yes I would stay here again
The decor of room was decades old need updating, carpet old and not vibrant looked dirty needs replacing. No plug next to bed. Shower Water barely warm.Fridge was unplugged
location is not on main road, it is on a side road (almost alley way) and very hard to find. Really need a car when new to area.
the room is big, there's a swimming pool and large space for parking in front of the hotel.
rooms are too old and some have bad smell, the furniture inside is a bit too dusty.
Do Not Stay Here!!! This is the dirtiest, nastiest hotel I have ever stated at. My wife an I didn't even shower we were so disgusted. Do not stay here.
Finding out that I should never stay there again.
Rude Staff, Was double charged (when I booked on booking.com, and each night I was there), Got my booking wrong and only had me booked for 1 night when it was 2. Keycards didn't work and staff would get mad about asking for a new one (there's no other choice but to ask, claremont staff! quit being rude about it), Doorknob was falling off, Doorways were severely warped from years of not caring for it, No remote for TV with TV buttons being ridiculous to control (touch sensor was malfunctioning), Shower water was kind of brown, Nasty room interiors with broken down furniture, And everything else good about being on vacation was ruined by staying at the claremont hotel. Don't book there. Save yourself the trouble and have an enjoyable vacation elsewhere.
The pool was fine. No complaints there.
So dirty! My 11 months old was crawling on the floor for less then 5 minutes and she was black all over from dirt. The bathroom as well was very dirty and hair everywhere. The beds was so hard and uncomfortable, strained too. The door to our room had been broken in before and no one had fixt it so we cud not really leave our room without our belongings, if you just pushed the door a little hard it would open. The air con sucked. The internet sucked, which made it hard for us to find another hotel to stay in. No way we wanted to stay there. Also it smelled bad :( worst place I have ever stayed. Don't book here, you are going to end up losing the money by going somewhere else anyway.
I liked the lotions and shampoo
The entire experience. It's filthy. Horrid and they don't really care. House keeping sometimes doesn't show up. They really are not professional or friendly.
Out dated rooms and hotel
There are over two cockroaches in my room!
The rooms door was broke, the bed looked like it was going to fall apart, the shower broke while I was showering, every fifth room was condemned by authorities..THE WORST I even been in.
The rate and staff
Broke down dirty hotel
The room rate; the staff sounded friendly; 3pm check in time
Our 1st room: 1) cable tv wires were pulled out of the wall so the tv was useless. 2) no iron in the room. 3) no ironing board in room. Our 2nd room: 1) ceiling surfaces were pealing off over the bed. 2) ceiling was heavily stained. 3) most of the furniture surfaces were pealing off and the parts were just left hanging on the furniture. 4) miscellaneous wood was stuffed under the air conditioning unit. 5) no wi-fi - the desk clerk said "we were to far from it!" We were on the 3rd floor, it was on the 1st. 6) the pool was closed. 7) Without even trying to, we saw completely naked men walking around the pool next door, then found out via the internet on my phone the hotel next door is advertised as a "gay resort" - oh my gosh what if we'd brought our children with us? We were appalled and disgusted. 8) the tub drain was completely gross - it turned our stomachs. 9) no mattress pad on the bed. 10) the toilet was broken, either the tank wouldn't fill at all or it would continuously fill, we actually had to turn the water off that fed into the tank because it "shrieked". 11) the door jam didn't have a lock receiving plate - it was just a large hole in the jam that the lock went into. 12) no "do not disturb" sign. 13) no iron in the room - I had to beg them repeatedly for an iron. The iron they finally brought leaked water, the sole plate had brownish black junk burned onto it and it burned my clothing! 14) no ironing board in the room. 15) all the switch plates were visibly filthy with grime and dirt. We took photos and would be more than happy to send them to you. We couldn't go anywhere else, the room rate was non-refundable and we had just driven 5 hours from California and checked in around 4pm and were attending a family wedding at 6:30pm. We were miserably stuck. TAKE THIS HOTEL OFF YOUR WEBSITE!
Nothing very dirty
I hated everything !! your pictures on the internet are false!
free breakfast, immediate answer of front desk calls, close parking, late check-out time, fridge in each room, available microwave in lobby
I made a reservation and paid online, yet upon arrival the staff took at least 20 minutes jut to pull up my info. The room they originally gave us came complete why a broken tabletop and the cable ripped straight out of the wall. The front desk had a new room for us, but it came with 2 beds, and I booked a single king bed room. The a/c barely worked, the cable played maybe 60% of the time, we had no fitted sheet on our bed, just 2 flat sheets that fell off constantly, and the headboard, wood and 4 feet long, fell off our bed almost landing on our heads.
No water no ac no room phone handle to door broke
I love the old hotel. Its very much old Hollywood. But there is so much they can do with the rooms that would barely cost anything and they would look so much nicer and alot more comfy.
The maids. They need to hire a crew that takes prideand cares about there work. Its very clear they do not.
The lady behind the desk was wonderful.
The refrigerator was unplugged and someone left a bag of spinach that was rotten. The television was not working.
the wires for turning on the lights were poorly put together. The water in the bath tub, was severely leaking. Everything was either breaking or was already broken. there wasn't enough working plug-ins for tv and lights/mini fridge. ny room was suppose to have a microwave but didnt. i stayed in a deluxe king room but the bed was a queen/full. then i was talking to another resident there his shower wasnt working at all another was complaining about the rooms being nasty and gross.
Waited 3 hours to check in even though the hotel was completly empty. Then we left because the lady tried to charge us an extra 20 dollars then what the price was supposed to be. Will never go there again
