Wonderful and friendly staff, convenient location (my parents live in Clarence), and clean and comfortable rooms.
The staff were great; the location was good for my purposes.
Very comfortable and clean
As I am wont to read in the evening a larger comfortable chair and ottoman would of been nice
Good location for what we needed
Had a BIG step up into room. Hold mold in room. Only 3 TV channels, Two were home shopping channels and one local TV channels But nice picture on screen. We had two rooms one was very small. Water in shower came out like a fire hose.
They are trying to make improvements. New paint, wifi receiver in room so better coverage, better TV reception (over the air digital), new mattress. It is good for a night or two at that price point. You do get what you pay for (in a good way)
Bath sink light stopped working the next morning. Shower faucet water lines appear to be connected backwards, (hot goes in wrong direction)
really clean and quiet room, worth the money.
the tub of the bathroom is a little blocked.
Cozy, nice room
It was cheap, near to my vacation spot, and had a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly but not overbearing. I had a strong Wi-Fi signal, as well.
The light didn't always work right, there was a broken socket, and the faucet was difficult to adjust.
The location is fine and quiet. The rate is good compared to other hotels in the area.
Poor facilities and cleanliness. I checked my bed, and found that the sheet is clearly unchanged from last occupant as there were lots of fine hairs around. I went to find the owner immediately, who was apologetic and changed the sheet immediately.
The bed was very small advertised as a queen bed but it was definitely not a queen . our friends shower stall was extremely small. The price was good the place was very clean but it was not comfortable.
They charged are card several hours before we checked in even before the check in time. I had reserved rooms for friends too so their 4 days of room rental were charged to my debt card. This was not clear in the booking it said we could pay upon arrival
We found four spiders in the room with their webs. One of them was climbing down the ceiling! In the restroom one towel was missing. They did not check the room before we arrived, apparently.
Was a quaint "Cottage Like" Hotel, with a close location for my purposes. Very clean and adequate for my brief stay !! Staff was Friendly and knowledgeable of area for my needs. Reasonably Priced as well. Would recommend for others !!
Check in time could be a little earlier than 4:00 although I was allowed to check in around 3:00. Had to look for Office attendant, who was actually doubling as the Cleaning Staff !!
Owner was awesome. Price was great.
No electrical plugs in the bathroom
Owner/operator was very friendly and hospitable. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Parking was right outside the room. Coffee maker was good.
There was only basic cable channels. The fan on the air conditioner ran constantly but I got used to it.
The owner who checked me in was very kind and friendly. The room was clean.
The air conditioner was loud and I couldn't adjust the fan direction, so it wouldn't blow directly on me in bed. The pillows were uncomfortable. It was very damp in the room and for someone suffering with arthritis, it made my stay somewhat painful. This next one wasn't really their fault per se, but a plumber was there doing maintenance and I had to open the door three times for the occasion and considering I had just driven 400 miles, I really just wanted to relax.
-We traveled as family with young children. Room was good size. Had fridge and kitchenette. Facilities clean. Staff courteous. Relatively convenient location to shops, restaurants, and attractions etc.
For the price we were charged, $120+/daily, we were told couldn't cook in kitchen unless we wanted to pay more. Additionally bathroom -clean, but outdated. Tub kept filling with water kept pooling at our feet during shower as though drain not emptying properly.
Sheets and bed were very clean and crisp. It was very quiet.
There was barely any towels. The people who were in there before us left food in the fridge and it never got cleaned out.
The Clarence Inn was close to our destination, very affordable, clean, and newly remodeled with a nice color scheme. It looked as though the owners cared about their guests. That was further evidenced when the Wi-Fi didn't kick in right away and Elie came to our room and made sure that we had Wi-Fi coverage. We travel to the Buffalo area annually and will definitely book again next year at the Clarence Inn.
Overall not a bad place considering the price.
Wi-fi was very slow. No control of the parking, somebody else parked in front of my room. No sheers at the windows, it was either too dark or completely exposed. Air conditioning unit blew dust right on the bed when first started even though it ran on economy.
The room was clean, spacious, charmingly decorated and comfortable. (bed was great) Housekeeping staff very sweet, helpful. Owner very nice and accommodating. Price was great for an out of the way Inn feeling without the cost! New quaint cafe and children's bookstore across street.
Heating unit very old and funky, worked well but needs replacing. Deep cleaning needs to be done! Sofa needed shampooing, etc. Encountered several spiders, webs. Very old property that was remodeled sparingly, cutting costs shows. Certain things could/should be done for better stay.
a small and comfortable room
We stayed for 2 nights, but there were no fill up with coffee, tea, cups and so forth
Location was great. I was there in the colder weather and the room was warm but not overly 'dry'. Clean room, comfortable bed and great shower! Owners are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely use the Clarence Inn again.
I missed the buffet breakfast other hotels have.
Room was clean, recently refurbished (although carpeting was not installed yet - not a problem for us), spacious and very comfortable.
Shower head needs updating. Other than that, all was perfect for our needs.
The owners were very friendly. Great room. Perfect location.Close to everything.
The wi-fi was in and out.
I liked that the motel was close to my training I was attending. The owners were initially very friendly and eager to correct any issues. It was nice that there was a kitchen in the room. If you're looking for a cheap room that's clean and comfortable this is great.
My biggest issue was the heater making so much noise in the night (like a zipper in a dryer), very hard to sleep, and two of the three nights the heater stopped working completely and I had to get up and fiddle with the thermostat and the heater itself before it started back up again. Also the room smelled like smoke a bit. Probably inevitable if there was ever smoking allowed in the facility. I didn't call about the heater since it was the middle of the night and it always seemed to start working eventually.
