Liked the location for firework viewing. The room size was very large. Beds were comfortable. Fridge worked well. Water pressure was high. Did not try the breakfast. After the fireworks, it was very quiet and cleared out almost completely. If you enjoy the southside party scene, this is the place for the 4th. Best room for viewing would be westside, second floor with balcony.
The whole hotel turned into a major party spot for the 4th. Could not use the pool due to the amount of friends the guests brought in. Some group of teens set up a grill on our patio, we didn't complain as we could not of gotten to the pool. Pool became empty when fireworks started, but then closed at 10 to guests. Weight room, vending machines, and elevator were all out of order, possibly closed due to volume. Rooms are not soundproof.
The bed was comfortable and had several pillows. We liked the coffee pot in the room. We liked that it smelled good when we first walked in. The person that checked me out was professional and friendly
The hotel was very warm in the lobby and breakfast area. It was generally shabby on the inside and out. The second night we stayed there was a great deal of running up and down the halls. The hotel was pretty much trashed on the 4th with debris from the party. Music playing quite late and chicken bones right outside the patio door.
Clean and quiet
The breakfast was ok but nobody was there to resuppply the milk n the orange juice and apple juice was poor the machine kept giving me water..
Nothing about it.
It needs a major overhaul. It's pretty embarrassing to be called Clarion. Very run down inside and out. Walls in room to bathtub were in very poor shape. I should've stayed at.Motel 6 for lesser monies. Would NOT recommend going here to.anyone.
My friends arrived about half hour before me and they were allowed in their room even though reservation was in my name. My first two room assignments smelled of cigarette smoke, and they assigned us a third choice (accommodating, and staff was nice about it)
Needs a bit of update which I noticed seems to be already happening. No type of protein was offered and I am on a low carb diet (even peanut butter would be good). Our bathroom shower was difficult to turn water on.
Room was not made up for the next day. Had to call to desk to get clean towels. My daughters room was done with stained sheets. Jacuzzi not working. It was cold. Very disappointed. The staff was very nice though.
Conveniently located near the freeway
Really outdated/old furniture
The location was easy access to I-10.
The room was extremely dirty. It looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years. We booked a two night stay, after the first night the front desk clerk assured me that the room would be cleaned, but it was not cleaned. We were not charged for the second night. We would have left the hotel after the first night, but I was traveling with an elderly mother with oxygen and walker. We drove 8 hours to get there, and I was too exhausted to repack and reload oxygen and all health related equipment to look for another room. In my opinion the hotel needs to be reported to the health department. We will never stay there again even if the stay is free. As I spoke to other guests they were checking out due to the unsanitary and dirty room conditions.
Location and wifi
This place is a real dump, dirty carpets in hallways, torn up with no real sign that repairs are happening
