convenience to our friends house. The Guatemalan cook in the breakfast area very friendly and attentive. a real asset to the place.
s refused to work on second day, had to go to the desk 3 times. Toilet plugged the second morning, bathtub drain was slow. There was a brown streak on the bottom sheet of one of th ebeds. I hope it wasn't fecal in nature.
A very nice person serving us breakfast every morning. Very polite staff.
Even though the room was always diligently cleaned, the upholstery on chairs needed a good dry cleaning.A
The tiki bar makes the best gyrs! The breakfast was very good.
Lack of on site acceptable and affordable restaurants.
noise---trains, planes, road.
Staff pleasant, rooms clean.
Breakfast food cold! Butter so frozen couldn't spread on toast w tiny tiny plastic knife! Need to upgrade to compete w other places!
Comfortable room with all the normal facilities. Helpful staff.
Beds were great. Front desk clerks were very good under difficult conditions.
Front desk should NOT have to answer phones that ring off the hook while checking people in when the house is full. I worked in hotels and I know the stress of having five people in front of you and five lines on hold. Get a phone operator in high season. And it's time to replace the door locks which are hard to operate whether entering or leaving.
Comfortable room, easy Wi-Fi access. Love the Tiki Bar.
The restaurant and lounge could use a major facelift. The food was ok but could be improved.
Dirty, old not kept up thru the years. What maintenance was done in room was not done by pros.
Rooms were clean, but very outdated. buffet breakfast was good & cook was very friendly and attentive pool area was nice
A female guest was verbally attacked by a man (also a guest). A request for security was ignored, bartender did not call for help. My husband finally went to front desk to get the security guard because this lady was visibly shaken by this attack. The situation could easily have become very dangerous. I'm glad she didn't have her registered gun with her, but who knows today who has a gun on them, registered or not! Restaurant was not open- we were told we could order at the bar or have room service. The kitchen closed at 7:30 pm instead of 10 pm because it was slow, so no food at bar or room service was available. Front desk never seemed aware of what was going on as far as restaurant went.
front desk staff and tiki bar staff very efficient and friendly breakfast was good and staff was very enthusiastic
clean towels were damp towels were not replaced when housekeeping came in room smelled like cigarette smoke no fan in bathroom
This property is unacceptably maintained The bed box spring was completely collapsed in the middle, the bed sagged Carpet is old and patched This is tired, dogeared property in great need of refurbishment
I stayed here because it was within 10 minutes of an event I was attending. The reviews I read appeared fairly positive. The staff on arrival were pleasant. The establishment give the appearance of clean but it's not. The floor in my room was damp and sticky when I took my shoes off. The bed was uncomfortable and the cleanliness of the sheets and pillows was questionable. The bathroom also appeared to be clean, but upon shutting the bathroom door - it was obvious no one had bothered to clean behind there (I will spare the details of what I found on the floor and the back of the door). Then there was the fire alarm that went off 3 times between 1am - 3am - for no apparent reason. Moving on to the next morning - needless to say, I was happy to be leaving. I thought I would take advantage of their free breakfast - not the most sanitary environment and the scrambled eggs they were offering were questionable, the potatoes were cold and not completely cooked and their juice dispenser clearly had not been cleaned in some time. When checking out - I was asked about my stay, I simply said ok - it was over, no need to linger on it. But then I asked if there was a restroom in the lobby area and was directed down the hallway - I walk in and walked right back out - it was a disgrace - actually a better word for it is disgusting. Toilets were not flushed and toilet paper and paper towels were everywhere. I told the woman at the front desk - but she just looked at me with little response. Thankfully, I will never have to stay here again. It was a choice of convenience - which next time I will choose inconvenient.
Internet always cut when not using five minutes
The hotel is clean everywhere! Renovations in 2013 (or '12). Breakfast had fresh waffles made for you and fresh scrambled eggs! Pool looks welcoming! Outdoor tropical-feeling bar/restaurant too.
Truly, there is nothing I found lacking. NOTHING!
Enjoyed the entertainment as well as the facility
Nothing all was good
Location, pool, cleanliness in rooms.
Pool needed a good clean, as did some of the common areas, particularly glass windows & doors, & the breakfast area. Reception staff seem to miss the point about why they are there, customer service training might be an idea. Poor sleep due to very noisy neighbours in adjoining room in the middle of the night, kids woken & unsettled all night. For $82 a night it wasn't the best value for money. Would I stay again? No way.
Not much; it was disappointing for the money
Two floors no elevator; wasn't a secure building or location; breakfast had old food items; old facility in need of restoration
The only good thing about this hotel is the staff!!! They were great. The front desk lady that checked us in was the nicest lady. The breakfast man was the best.
The room was so gross. A bug I have never seen before was in the wall. I live in Florida, I seen ever bug, but this one. Then the next day another bug of the same kind in the bathroom. There was black grossness all over the bathroom mirror. Dusty lamps, ripped sheets, holes in window treatments, and drug deals in the parking lot at all hours. The cops even came and arrested someone. Booking.com really got this one wrong!!!!
LOTSA NOISE BY THE POOL
Location provides good access to a variety of attractions with relatively short travel times. A good value for the dollar,
Everything, staff was super nice & friendly. Breakfast was excellent & the gentleman that ran the breakfast was super nice.
