Breakfast options were very limited . . .Not much available for people who don't/can't have wheat/gluten.
Extremely courteous and helpful staff. Convenient to Metro -- nice to have the free shuttle. Pool area, hot tub and games were nice.
Shuttle to metro showing up in an unmarked mini van to shuttle us back to hotel!
Ease of traveling down to DC
Dated, a little dirty
Bed was nice lots of pillows :)
Pillows are so small.
Quiet and yet in the city!
My girlfriend got a rash all over her body. The rooms were
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Beyond thier control - but there was a National ROTC competition in the are therfore the hotel was packed with High School aged kids - BUt nothing major.
We had a very late check-in (6am) due to road trip delays. Front desk personnel was very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast lady is so nice!
the first room they gave us
FOR THE MONEY SPENT I CONSIDER IT OUTDATED, NEEDS SOME TLC. STAYED IN SAME PRICE HOTELS THAT WERE MORE MODERNIZED.
FACILITY WAS COMFORTABLE, FUNCTIONAL AND STAFF WAS HOSPITIBLE!
Dirty, very strong cigarette odor. poor wIFI
People knocked on our door that were stating elsewhere in the hotel thinking our room was theirs and woke up our family of 5. Not fun waking up 3 kids under 10. The light that was in a sensor went off and turned on numerous times the first night until we figured out we had to cover the sensor with a towel. Lots of smokers at all doors. Had to replace our keys that didn't work 3 times in 3 days.
Great for little children. We had the whole pool area and whirlpool to ourselves. It was like our own little getaway. Food was great !!!!
Great pool. Beds very uncomfortable. Great breakfast. Small rooms. Tiny bathroom.
Breakfast was less than desirable.
Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Kids enjoyed pool area.
The hotel is located in a questionable part of town. Most rooms have doors located to the outside of the building, some on street , some on parking lot side, very noisy and quite frankly , not a safe feeling. The interior rooms are located with a indoor pool surrounding them. Be prepared for continuous noise from pool goers till 10pm. And lets talk about the disgusting pool!! you cannot see past your waist, water is cloudy and above the pool is molded black ceilings and a indoor rug along the edge of the pool that probably has more mold spoors than i can to think about..
my room was made up each day
The bed gave me itches, maybe bed bugs, bathroom is small, lack of tv channels,
I loved free breakfast. The shuttle is really good to get to and from metro station. The bed was comfortable.
Even though we booked a non-smoking room, it still smelled heavily of smoke.
I liked all the activity options they had there. Staff were nice and very accommodating.
The building is older and has seen better days, but is well kept, with lovely murals in the huge lobby. The price was higher than I normally like to pay, about $75 with tax, but it was the area it was in. However, it was worth it.
We were impressed most by the friendliness and care provided by the staff. The room and beds, pillows and blankets were very comfortable, clean. They provided all the amenities we value--great wifi, coffee pot, fridge, microwave, an abundance of towels (a rarity). The breakfast was also very nice, with eggs, waffles, yogurt, fruit--all the things I like. I would go again.
Thank you April
Everything,mean staffs,noisy rooms,nothing good
- just the price,but iy didn't worth
The wifi in the room is terrible. I have to seating in the lobby to get my work done.
close to university of Maryland
Terrible acoustics...every lobby noise can be heard in the guest rooms. Heating in our room was broken and we were offered the chance to change rooms but we were too tired to do so. Room smelled of strange chemicals and faintly of old smoke. Check-in and check-out took longer than typical.
Convenient location to University of Maryland.
no work table
