Location close to Disney They lost my reservation from booking.com. When I checked in they did not even have my reservation. On top of that, they charged me a no show fee because they booked my reservation for October 13th when really it was for Dec 13th. The paperwork from booking.com clearly shows Dec 13th. Check in was a pain and I would not stay here again for that reason.

I love the bed, and the price. I got a special promo offer for my stay from Oct 14-20... 2 nights at $49.99 and 4 nights at $39.99. The price is really a steal. Though no breakfast included, but there is a lot of eatery nearby like Denny's Diner, McDo (Kids eat free), Burger King, Cici's Pizza, Dunkin Donuts, Baskin Robin, and plenty grocery. They are very fast in fixing the room.... But I later noticed, they only fixed the bed and the toilet. They are not vacuuming the carpet, quite dirty. We have some trash at the floor that they don't pick up or throw away.. My roommate cut her toe nails on the second day of our stay... And the nails were there until our last day of stay.. I did not bother to complain as I want to see how soon will they notice it..but sadly they didn't notice it or even bother vacuuming the floor.

Our hotel room was very clean. The mini-fridge was not turned on when we got in room, and we had checked in right before midnight. My infant sons milk had to stay in our cooler till the next day. Getting the ice and keeping milk cold was a little inconveniencing.

It was very close to Disney. We could eat breakfast at the hotel before we went out for the day. The front desk was very helpful and very friendly. I especially did not like the fact that they put glass tumblers and ceramic mugs in the rooms because they were not cleaned properly.

Clarion Hotel Maingate had the most friendly staff I have ever encountered. The hotel was also extremely close to Disney World and other fun options, which is the main reason why we chose to stay. The bathrooms in the lobby were super clean!!! Our hotel room could have been a little bit cleaner- the carpet was not vacuumed, the bathroom had hair on the floor and stains on tub/floor. Also, I had originally signed up for the breakfast, which i thought i had paid extra with the entire bill. We ended up having to buy a voucher. This mix up was only mildly annoying, however I would like to make a small suggestion. I would suggest that the breakfast be included with the purchase of the room. The breakfast was not good enough to pay for to say the least. There were not that many choices to choose from, and there were flies constantly landing on all the food.

For a family going to Disney resorts for vacation this hotel is excellent value for the money. The staff is very helpful and the location great. I definetely would return to this hotel if I go to Orlando again.

Close to number of moderate priced restaurants. Arrangement of room and bath. Sofa bed area was a cubical with no lamps, just dim overhead light ... not very usable; bath very cramped. Plumbing older and could hear water pipes from next rooms. Also, a/c clunked on and off as did the room refrigerator.
