Perfect location for nyc visitors – metro station is right outside, 10 mins walk to Empire State Building and a 20 mins walk to Time Square. Many restaurants and pubs around. Comfortable rooms, nice and clean bed, always hot and cold water in the shower, room was cleaned perfectly every single day, hairdryer, iron, etc in each room! We had lovely experience during our stay, can’t fault anything! Also nice breakfast! Highly recommend!

the area and the fact that breakfast was included...you can leave hotel and on the go for the rest of the day w/breakfast!!!!!!!! Staff members were very courteous w/me and the few requests I made. I did feel it a little expensie as the room was very small but had a closet and bathroom were good the size of room for the price

Hotels in nyc are fiendishly expensive and this place is, by comparison, miraculously cheap. Consequently, it is quite basic but perfectly functional and the location is brilliant. If you intend to spend a lot of time in the hotel, you'll probably find the rooms rather small and you would certainly have to be very very much in love to spend any length of time as a couple here. But again, given the price and location, this is perfect as a foothold from which to explore the city. Not to be forgotten: the free wifi connection worked perfectly throughout.

Good location, rooms very very small but spotlessly clean beds comfortable and sheets spotlessly clean, towels bright white and clean, bathroom clean. Safety deposit boxes in room. Breakfast, fresh waffles, bagels, pastries, juice and cereal, teas and coffees included in price. Ideal hotel if you just want to sleep in a clean room. It is 2 star so no fancy trimmings like room service, but when in New York why would you want to spend time in a hotel room for. I would use this hotel again. Only a couple of blocks from Empire State, good eating places locally suit all price ranges. Booked through booking.com but when paid i knew we had to add VAT but then there was additional taxes added which meant the cost was $110 more than we thought so beware!

The hotel was perfectly located and the bell man was very helpful regarding my suitcases etc. The room was tiny. The door wouldn't open fully as it hit the chest of drawers. I couldn't unpack as there wasn't enough storage space that was accessible. I had to dump my bag by the door as there wasn't enough floor space to move it anywhere else. It was the smallest hotel room I've ever seen and I have travelled a lot. When I used the shower, a strong smell of burning began to emanate from the showerhead so I finished showering quickly as I feared the smoke alarm going off. The woman on the front desk who checked me in was very surly and rude. She was not happy to help at any point and rather seemed irritated that she had been bothered.

We just have got cable TV signal in the last day of our stay. Meaning that we pay a price with cable Tv included and did not enjoy it. After this comment, I really expect that hotel staff get in touch with me about some sort of compesation, If they really care about it. Otherwise I will do let other people know about it.

The hotel was very well located, the room was clean even though small. The breakfast was sufficient: milk and cereal, toast and jam, danish pastries and muffins. No view from the window but we stayed in the hotel just to sleep.

Small room but nice and clean. Good location on Park Ave and 29th. Wireless worked fine. Good value. I'd stay here again. I was solo; room would have been small for two, but it's hard to complain for the price.

I have always enjoyed this hotel. Staff is always very helpful. Just a very cute hotel!! Usually I always get a room with two beds and this time they wanted to charge me more money for the usual accommodations I really wasn't happy about that!!!

Very well located. Pretty near to a subway station. Not bad breakfast, considering the hotel category and american hostage standards. Unreliable concierge treatment due to transportation services. We had to pay for an extra cab at the departure time, although we had dealed the price the day before and made sure we had 4 large bags. We had to pay us$ 116,00 instead of the us$ 58,00 charge of the deal, otherwise we would miss our flight. We´re still waiting for refunding, but it seems we won't have our money back. Watch out!

The Location was strategic and perfect as for visiting Manhattan. In a radius of few minutes there are grand central station, Empire State Building, many fine restaurants and pubs, subway station (green line 6) and even Macy's and Times Square are not far away. After a full-day trip, it's easy to get back, have a quick shower and find a beautiful place to have dinner and a safe walk. For such a location we found the price very good. Breakfast was obviously not a 4*, but ok, Hotel staff too. Even if they looked not so new, rooms were quite clean and there are hairdryer, bathtub, lcd tv, free Wifi. If we would go again in New York, we will consider againg going to this hotel Rooms are a bit small and in most rooms there is absolutely no view from the window (only a brickwall and fire stairs), but if someone is there for business or to visit Manhattan in few days and not for staying all day in the hotel room it should not be a problem, especially if looking at price and location. We didn't find out how to reduce the room temperature, which was very hot, but maybe it was our fault. Maybe a small refrigerator, even empty, just to put own beverages inside would have been appreciated

Perfect place! The staff was super nice, especially the girl in the reception. The rooms were small but enough if you are, like us, going to visit the city all day long. The bathrooms were very clean and in perfect conditions and you even had free Wi-fi on the room! The beds were super comfortable too. The location was perfect with a subway station 2 mins from the entrance! Walking to the Empire State building, Macy's and Victorias Secret in 15 mins! Else, I would totally recommend it to anybody, we will for sure go back! The only worst part was the fact that the bedroom walls were too thin and we could here the people in the room next door

Booking.com needs to fix the description of double bed, we and many others at the hotel were under the impression that double bed meant 2 beds but no we found out the hard way that it means one bed as a double, which is still do not understand. I never heard of a bed being called a double.

It's one of the only hotels in this part of Manahattan (i.e., Murray Hill or Midtown) that offers rates below $200 per night. Offers free breakfast. Most of the rooms are absolutely tiny. Barely enough room for your luggage tiny. My wife joined me during the 2nd half of my business trip, and the room was really too small for 2 people. We asked to switch rooms, and the manager said all rooms were the same size. We had stayed here before, and knew that was not true. After I called her out on the lie, she agreed to move us to a somewhat bigger room. The breakfast is nice because it's free, but it's really pretty lame compared to other hotel breakfasts, like that at the Holiday Inn Express. Only bagels, cereal, and pre-packaged pastries.

It was à good hotel in à good place midtown area. The staff doesn't know much as you ask them and they don't seem to care. Just à simple hello or goodbye or have à Nice day seems very difficult. Except the Guy helling with the food. Hè was great. The staff looked like the had to go to the restro. Maybe à little training for that pepleb

The hotel is very central, E.G. approx. 10 minutes away from the Empire State Building. The rooms and the hotel is quite old but clean. I would recommend the hotel for a shorter visit but not for a longer holiday. The rooms are were small and we had a view on a firewall so we did not even know if it's night or day... The staff was not very friendly and did not explain things properly they should have had.
