Clarion Hotel San Jose Airport  

Location convenient to airport, but their are other options. Breakfast was good

No elevators made it difficult to handle luggage. One room was smelly from smoke or something to a point we had to change

Somehow I booked the wrong date and booking.com was very accommodating to talk with the Clarion staff to allow us to stay anyway and for the same good rate. Thank you very much!

When I walk into the lObby I was surprise very nice looking hotel...

So I was surprise with the outside and lobby very neat, I could of swear that the room was very fancy, but once I open the door it was a desapoinment I was expecting more. At the Dolce Hayes Mansion Hotel I pay less and they have a beautiful hotel and better quality room. Not that I did not like the stay but it was a desapointment beside it was a very noice stay the next room had a party and no one came to ask for silence. sorry...

The ability to park the car for our trip and shuttle to airport

Very nice entrance and lobby, clean and inviting. I like the full breakfast being included, and being located close to the airport.

I felt the staff was not too friendly, and seemed confused about our booking. They gave us a choice of rooms then put us in the room we didn't want. The waitress in the restaurant took our tickets but didn't welcome us or say good morning etc. The noise from the parking lot and other clients was annoying which I realize you can't control. However we had stayed 2 nights in Carmel and it was so quiet. We wanted to find a movie or music channel and were disappointed to have to pay for them, so we went without but felt there should be free music.

Breakfast was good. Nice variety and comfortable environment.

The room furnishings were somewhat worn and stained.

Ordered room service and it took 1 1/2 before it was delieverd to my room food was over cooked . Day 2 placed food order in the resturant to take to my room. Food was not cooked correctly, paid for extra toppings for my buger and it was not included on the buger. Ordered Soup smelt bad,again not good.

What I didn't like was the bed was to small, I asked for a king sized bed I'm 6'3" all they Had was a queen I took it but it was a double My feet hung over the bed. Not happy with that.

I appreciate that this is close to the meetings I need to attend while in San Jose. My room was comfortable and clean. I was greeted by most of the staff in a very friendly way.

My only concern was that when we were checked in I gave the clerk my booking receipt which had all of my information on it. He kept asking me all of the same questions which were on that receipt. Then, rather than putting us in rooms that faced the inside of the facility, for safety purposes, he placed us in outside rooms on the ground floor, facing the parking lot. I thought that was rather odd not to take that into consideration for two older women. Fortunately we were safe there, but we should have at least been asked our preference. We didn't have a car, why put us by the parking lot.

The pool and pool area were beautiful. Breakfasts were quite good.

Breakfast should be served until 10:00. The flags flying over the hotel were in tatters, way too old.

The breakfast was better than most hotels. The rooms were comfortable.

My room was on the ground floor, so it was a little noisy especially when people walked past and you could hear them talking clearly, so it can be a little disturbing in mornings and sometimes at night.
