First it was clean! The grounds were beautiful, the pool inviting and made me wish I had more time to just sit around and sip ice tea in the beauty of the pool area. The breakfast area was large, and offered many different items. It was better than the very expensive hotel in Dallas where we stayed earlier.

I made the reservation months in advance because I was going to the Tucson Gem Show. The hotel was sold after I made my reservation and my reservation was lost. When I called to check on it the person I talked to on the phone was rude and told me I probably shouldn't use booking.com in the future. I called a second time to make sure she had gotten my reservation straightened out and sure enough, I still had no reservation in the system. The person I talked to the second time was nice and helpful. She had the hotel manager call me the next day and the manager assured me that I would have a room when I arrived. All was good when I checked in...so it was just the one person who was impolite and didn't follow through.

It is quite close to the airport, and the breakfast is great.

The room is OK, buy when we checked out in the early morning(4:15 am), it took me 15 min to find the staff, who was in the dining hall.

The place has recently been renovated and under new ownership. It was virtually empty maybe a dozen guests over the Xmas period, so very quiet and an attentive staff.

No problem in our section but the walls sounded hollow so probably no sound insulation added. Some minor aircraft noise from the airport and nearby airbase during daytime hours.

Location, comfort & quality of the facility. Front dest staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. You had just changed from HSL to Best Western. I would love to be able to get the same rates in the future when needing airport accomadations.

Breakfast was limited as was time for me. An earlier opening for travelers would be helpful. Limited items available because according to the wait person (not overly friendly) he was waiting on a delivery truck. This could all have been due to your recent change over I assume.

We have been traveling for 2 months and stayed in many different hotels and motels in us. This hotel had the best beds we come across so far and besides that it seems the owners are putting a lot of money and efforts into making the whole place up to the ver same standard as the beds.

The only good thing about the hotel is Ernie who prepares breakfast. He is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise terrible environment.

To start with there is no name on the hotel. They are remodeling which is really no excuse for their lack of service and accommodations. Our room was on the second floor and there was not an elevator. With large suitcases that is a problem. Each time we flushed the toilet we had to manually stop the water from running. There was no cool water in the tap at the sink. The bathtub is extremely slick as is the bathroom floor if there is even a small drop of water on it. I mentioned it the next morning and the man said that they are aware of the problem and going to buy rubber mats. Hopefully in the mean time no one will break a bone. There wasn't an ice machine so we had to go downstairs and ask for ice. I tried calling the desk 3 times without success to leave a wake up call. I finally found the receptionist in the hallway. I would have at least trained my night staff to explain why the hotels smells so bad, why the service is so poor and the rooms in such poor condition. The night clerk was not forthcoming with anything that she didn't have to respond to. It would be better if the hotel was closed until such a time as they can offer good service.

This hotel is in the middle of renovations. It will be lovely when completed. Rooms are nice, beds very comfortable.

The college kids staffing the front desk were more like being waited on by a family member that would rather have you do it yourself than by a professional hospitality employee.

We liked everything about the hotel except for the room door layout with the closet being right at the door. Very poor room design.

the hotel so ther were limited services not much of a food selection or drink.we are happy thats its going to be a best western.we use bw all of the time.

Loved the price...thanks for the drop-off and pick-up at the airport.

We came there to enjoy the pool and the fitnessgym but both were closed because of renovation.When we told them they should better put that on their homepage, the woman at the front desk said sorry and was just laughing.. Not a good service.

My Booking.com reservation was not recived by hsl. On arrival had to make new resevation and hotel had to find an available room for us. Computers down at desk. Could not take my information. Two days later, still had incorrect information after I spent 15 minutes at desk. Administrative wise there was much to wish for. Hotel was difficult to find - no lights or proper signage at night. Hotel was under renovation and construction mess.

When booking our room, there was no mentioned that the motel was under major renovation (new owners) therefore, there was no working pool or spa, no ice machines (had to go to the front desk/kitchen for ice, no vending machines. Our main reason of staying there, was to use the pool.

The hotel was convenient to the airport. The beds were comfortable. The amenities good. If we had time we would have had breakfast...it was good the previous stay.

I sleep with a CPAP. It is always hard to find an outlet for my machine next to the bed in all hotels. The temperature in Tucson that day was 109 degrees Farenhite. The room must have been over 90 degrees Farenhite when we checked in after 9pm. It took 4 hours for the room to cool down so I could sleep. It would have been very nice if the hotel staff had turned on the air conditioner at 6pm knowing we would be arriving in a few hours. I left word for a wake-up call for 5:30am and again for 5:45am so we could get to the airport on time. No one called either time. We were almost late for our plane.

I really loved the price, but I'm guessing it was cheap because of the renovation
