BEST WESTERN PLUS Orlando Gateway  

Good location for International Drive and Universal Studios. Room was a good size.

Probably the worst Best Western we've stayed in - in urgent need of updating. Our room was large and clean but smelt musty - no fresh air had seen the room for years as you couldn't open the windows and needed redecoration. The bar was stuck in a time warp with outdated murals. A disappointing first experience of Orlando hotels.

Convenient location close to everything

Barely any hot water in my room. Ac didnt work well. Got charged twice for a $50 deposit and it still hasn't been refunded

Rooms reserved (joint rooms) were not ready. Had to take rooms on diffeent floor. Rooms were moldy....smelly.

Excellent prize for a Disney Hotel. You cannot find a better prize. Very close to the Universal Studios and Island of Adventure.

Location is very convenient for Universal Orlando Resort visit

The local transfer service provided by Mears Transportation Group was terrible. At the last day of my trip I paid for a roundtrip transfer from hotel to Disney Resort. The shuttle didn't come on scheduled time on return. I called the company's call center for 4 times in 25 minutes, representatives couldn’t solve the problem I stayed on the line with my international cell phone on every call for 6-7 minutes. As I had an international flight in 3 hours I couldn’t wait more. I found a taxi at the resort side and went back to my hotel. Every Orlando visitor should be noticed about this transportation company’s poor performance.

The room was big and clean, nice location, nice pool.

The airco was too loud, difficult to sleep.

The location was awesome its located infront of wet n wild and a few blocks down universal studios/city walk. Restaurants were around close which is a plus.

The pool closes at 10pm which sucks if you are there to visit the parks. No balconys not sure if its a orlando thing. The decoration of the place could of been better its an outdated building but beds are comfy

The staff was really nice and was very understanding when we wanted to stay longer with our pet. The location was good for us since we mostly hung out on international drive. We really enjoyed our stay and will come again.

The pool was not open 24 hrs and breakfast was not free but otherwise our stay was great

Very slow check in. Unprofessional front desk. Young black female was very unorganized checking us in on April 6th around 530. Stained ceilings. Loud guests upstairs. No one ever working in the deli. Had to chase staff down for help.
