I have stayed here before and found it meets my needs. This time, I was surprised and pleased to see the rooms had been upgraded. I would have liked a coffee maker. There was a refrigerator and microwave.

I hiked a few days on the Herbert Hoover Dike. The location was convenient for the hiking with just short drive to dike. The location was good for walking to the Clewiston Historical Museum. Short drive to shopping. Be aware that there is no coffee machine in room - I left early to hike each day and had to buy coffee the day before and put in microwave. Be aware that there is no public ice machine and will need to go to office to get ice. I believe the price was a bit high for what you get, but it is cheaper than all the other local hotels Only had 40 watt light bulbs, could not read by them Refrigerator froze water bottles even though it was set on off. There was no plug for the bathtub so only shower available.

Close to where I was going. Staff was nice The room was so hot we had to leave the door open untill the AC started cooling the room. Had to take a cold shower an hour after arriving to cool off. No ice.

very little old food in microwave, most of the lights were broken or gone, everything was battered and broken
