The seaview The swimming pool The restaurant the staff
Slow wifi a little old fashion hotel, but clean
Big room. Looked out to ocean - could hear waves crash at night. Pool right by ocean. On lovely bay. Good restaurant on site. Great breakfast.
Because of road change, a little hard to find. Pool but no hot tub - still, 4 out of 5 stars - great value for the money.
Fantastic view, pool next to the sea, you could hear the sound of the waves, romantic little place just perfect
view spectacular. restaurant top notch
dresser in room was musty smelling .
The pool was very nice - clean and a good temp. The restaurant menu was limited but good, and the view is great. The seagulls are a pain, but the water guns made it fun to chastise them.
It's not exactly on the beach, and the way to the beach is not obvious. There was roadwork going on, so it was loud in the room. There's no fan or A/C in the rooms. It has super limited staffing, so you always have to wait to get anything - check-in/check-out/pool towels. Your only dining option is the onsite restaurant without a significant drive especially around dinner time traffic.
View. Comfy bed.
No air conditioning (wasn't really necessary but it was a little humid), and pool isn't heated. Restaurant and bar closes super early. If you are the first floor everyone passes by your room.
Terrific location overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Dinner exceeded expectations and al fresco dining experience was perfect. Will definitely return.
The location, right on the water's edge.
- The hotel is quite shabby and in desperate need of refurbishment. - When checking out after our one night stay we were accidentally charged $1333 instead of $133. We pointed this out and the credit card transaction was reversed and we were assured it would not go through. However when we got to our hotel in San Francisco later that day for a 4 night stay our card was declined due to the hold of $1333 still being on the card. This caused embarrassment and we ended up having to pay in cash as the problem was still not fixed by the following day.
Lovely hotel by the sea. Very comfortable. Great location for restaurant - continental breakfast only OK at best.
Location, location, location.
Pool was green, rooms were hot eventhough it was only 60 degrees at night and the construction went on all night from the highway.
Listening to the ocean and having clean air...was over cast but still loved it.
Having to struggle to find a way down to the beach. How about a walking path so at my age(66) I don't have to travel over rocks?
The view is wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Hidden gem, feels like you're staying in Hawaii
Location. View. Cheap.
Rooms are dated and have an unpleasant odor. Floor was dirty and in need of replacement.
Great place for a couple to retreat to. Rooms are older furniture is older, but truthfully we will go back over and over again. Your paying for the view and the restaurant was fabulous! !
The location is great, rooms comfortable and the staff helpful. We had 4 nights and enjoyed our stay. Having a lovely long time for the continental breakfast was great.
We were disappointed with the food. Thought the restaurant food was expensive for what it was, and perhaps the chef is trying too hard to be inventive. For example, I ordered Eggs Benedict, and was surprised when it was served with very spicy sausage, instead of ham/bacon and spicy patatas bravas and chilli powder sprinkled on the poached eggs ....just odd! It completely overwhelmed the perfectly poached eggs and lovely hollandaise sauce.
The view the view the view!!! Liked the breakfast as well... bed was cozy.
It is in desperate need of a refurbishing!! The carpet was worn the window blinds did not work paint chips everywhere... it was as clean as could be
The room was clean and had a great view , restaurant was fantastic ;)
TV was a bit old ;(
I liked the friendliness of the staff. It was a great price with a great view.Very peaceful.
All the road construction infront of hotel.
The view is definitely the reason to stay here. The bed was very comfortable.
The bathroom was marginal. Could use some updating for sure.
Room old and run down doubt I would ever stay there again
We loved the view from our room! We slept with our window open. We were right off the PCH but you could not hear the highway noice. Food and service was awesome. The continental breakfast was better than average. You can't top having dolphins right in front of your hotel. I thought a negative would be there was nothing around us but the town was not far away to run in to some libations. Very relaxing! The building is charming, quaint and older but that adds to the charm. We were not looking for a 4 or 5 star hotel! It was perfect!
I loved the location and the food was pretty good too.
I didn't like the room too much, needs updates, and even that it is by the ocean I would've loved a little a/c.
The view was fantastic The staff very helpful & friendly Will visit again for sure Farhad
All was great
