I liked the decor.
The bathroom is too small and crowded.
Design of the hotel is still pretty chic and well maintained. Helpful staff.
My room on the left corner is spacious but next to a lift so it's quite noisy. On the 16th floor water in the shower seems weaker. The free wifi somehow doesn't work on my phone so i have to call the tech support center every day during my 5 day stay.
Awesome location, excellent service, nice and comfortable hotel.
Lunch ends at 1pm! No service at the bar during the day to have coffee or a drink. Impossible to set up a business meeting in the hotel during a large event.
Good value, great location.
Bathrooms are a bit dated.
The staff were wonderful. The room was modern, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our stay here and were upgraded at no extra charge. I would definitely stay here again.
We were referred to a garage for self parking on Taylor St s of Geary. Some money was stolen from the console of our vehicle. Hotel should not recommend this parking. There were other garages cleaner and closer for the same price.
Really comfortable beds High pressure showers Nice view Different colored elevators Not too far of a walk to get to and from our rooms Elegant interior design
Thin walls - going to bed and waking up to a couple next door having intercourse/hearing their conversations Booked two double bed rooms that were separated The porter made us take our own luggage up and drive the luggage cart and then asked us to bring it back down when we were done. We were a young group, but I thought that was very unprofessional.
-You have to request a flat sheet. -"upgraded" us to the room next to the elevator shaft.
The decoration is outstanding!!!!
The bathrooms in the rooms are way too small and are especially old and do not reflect at all the quality of this hotel.
clean, simple and quiet
location free room upgrade nice view cool vibe
could be a littler cleaner faster check in and out
Rooms are very old, only the lobby was pretty.
Bed and room were very comfortable, staff was helpful getting us a reservation and switching rooms.
The room was clean but a bit "worn", our shower was on the elevator shaft for the service elevator and we heard the noisy mechanics working all night long. not much noise insulation between rooms, we could hear a baby crying and people in the halls.
Great location, good quality for the price .
Excellent location. Right in the heart of San Francisco. Easy Access to the Muni. Friendly Staff.
It was a little noisy.
Location and price, close to parking lots and restaurants.
Doesn't have its own parking, the valet parking is expensive.
Great people, not too intrusive!
Be nice to have few more dinner options x
Good location, beautiful old building, sleeping rooms and Redwood Room still nice, responsive staff.
Clearly striving to serve hard-partying 20-somethings. Every corner set up for taking selfies. Loud music audible on 10th floor with windows closed.
Beautiful Lobby and Art inspired! I will definitely recommend.
Great location, plenty of places to eat around, easy walking distance to union square, shops and cable car stops. Helpful staff and good housekeeping.
Bed room was on the small side, but we didn't spend much time there and most of the room was taken up with a very comfy King size bed - so not a bad thing! The facilities outside the room where ok, but nothing fantastic, bar was pricey and hard to get a table, didn't see or try the restaurant... not sure if it even had one!
the location and common areas of the hotel
the room was a bit too basic for a 4 star and the bathroom could use an update.
The hotel is located near Union Square, where you can shop, go to the theatre, hop on a cable car or one of the many "Big Bus"-style tours of the city. My room was very spacious with a great bed (and a very small bathroom) and there was almost no street noise except the occasional police or ambulance siren.
A 2 minutes 15 seconds call back home to Dubai cost me 32 USD !!!??!!! This is outrageous... Also, internet access is now a commodity, not a luxury, and it shouldn't be charged extra.
This hotel is excellent. The location is perfect, and you can walk to most places in 10-15 minutes. Parking would be a problem, but we didn't have a car. The hotel was not busy, and the staff were all helpful and friendly. Our second room was large and well appointed. We did not have dinner in the hotel, but breakfast was excellent.
We checked in late, from the UK, and were given a very small room, with a tiny closet - not enough room to store our clothes for a 4 day stay. I complained, and we were given a much larger room for the duration of the stay - and they moved our luggage. Also I think it a bit rich to charge $15 a day for WiFi in your room.
Room was a little old but the mirrors added flair. Nice lobby and lounge.
Rooms were a little dated. Shower did not drain.
The service !
