Location; bike/walking trail nearby; view; good for traveling with pets.
Room by the pool. Late night party people making lots of noise after 9:00 at night.
We were warmly greeted at the front desk. Every staff member we came in contact with was very nice and went out of their way to accommodate us. The rooms are a little outdated as far as style goes, but they were extremely clean and the beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect, right on the water, and the views are spectacular.
Breakfast buffet was very poorly arranged. No way to by-pass someone waiting. Long line. Long line had patrons loitering around tables. Good breakfast but a bad experience.
Good scenery (excellent view of river and bridge) clean comfortable room, excellent continental breakfast
The lounge and the restaurant nearby closed rather early (~10:00pm). No other options for food late at night unless you order delivery
The bed was like floating on a cloud
among the many negatives of a terrible dinner ... The uncooked "baked potato" and cold medium-rare "well done" prime rib really stole the show. What a disgraceful kitchen department you have
The staff will always be able to attend to your needs, and do it readily and positively. The setting is a great treat.
cleanliness of room, great staff, good resturants and great breakfast.
The Bed was way too hard, could not sleep had to sleep on chair first nite. asked for rolling cart with bed and slept on that for 2 nites.
The Facility is in need of a major update. Location is nice but a total renovation is in order.
I loved the location. Peaceful and right on the water.
The beds could be more comfortable, but that's my only complaint.
We both enjoyed our stay tremendously, very clean room, the pool and the hot tub were awesome and the service was top notch.
Close to town, but isolated from town.
Everything about the place is wonderful the staff is excellent
The room had a bad smell, and the air conditioner would not shut off. The bathroom sink had a leak reported Friday, then fixed Sat. The pillows were bricks, and would not select to stay on my next visit, although the location was fantastic!
Convenient to my meetings at the Red Lion, but with more peace & quiet & views! The pool was clean & enjoyable. You see sunrises & sunsets, over the Columbia River. The steamed clams were delicious in the view bar/restaurant. & the staff was cheerful & helpful!
This is not a 5 star hotel. So, don't come, if you expect Posh. This is a clean, comfortable facility with a great view, good food & bar, and very friendly, helpful staff!
Pleasant location buy the river. Breakfast was OK.
The location is ideal; trails nearby could be optimized by the availability of better bicycles. We had planned to bicycle but those offered were old cruisers in poor repair. Rooms were in good shape, clean, and comfortable.
WIFI connection was very spotty, on-off. We would have appreciated if staff could have isolated a group of preteens who were unchaperoned in the room next to ours and very noisy into the night.
Price was excellent, and it was clean.
The wallpaper was coming off and the carpet was old
Clover Island Inn is a gorgeous hotel. The rates are great! Great area with nearby restaurants but the Crows Nest on the 4th flr is a great place to eat. Prime rib & Lobster for $25 wow! Service was great for a change! Plus 10% off Restaurant when you check into your hotel room. The view from the patio over looking the Columbia River is nice. There is a nice pool and hot tub in the patio area. Complimentary antique bikes for guests. We rode by the light house and on the trail along the river, it was so much fun!
Location Staff Facilities Pool/spa
The view! The location! The off the bested trail. A sucutive feel.
The quiet. Friendly, helpful staff.
I liked having three restaurants I could walk to for dinner. I enjoyed the free breakfast, a nice variety of choices.
View, hot tub, free bikes, breakfast, everything
Very nice view
Small TV, no DVD player. The food at the crows nest was disgusting. Worse food I have aver ate at a restaurant.
the view of the river, the restaurant in the hotel was excellent. our room was comfortable and very clean. the staff did an excellent job of maintaining the hotel. well done!!
