безобразное отношение персонала, нет ресторана и завтрак подается только в номер. заробеть форму на завтрак на 8.00-8.30 в результате после звонков и ругани завтрак получил в 9.15 и в неполном объеме.

Excellent location with many good restaurant options within walking distance. Centrally located near Union Square shopping. Starbucks located less than a block away. Employees were very friendly and helpful at all times. Large comfortable room. On-site valet parking.

The central location and high standard of accommodation, as well as helpful staff.

The staff here are absolutely wonderful and will answer any question (within reason of course!) It's worth staying here because of them! Keep up the great work guys!

It is an older style hotel, so if you're looking for a boutique sleek hotel with modern facilities, then this is not the place for you! But then again, you don't go to sf to stay in the hotel all day!

The Donatello was clean and well kept. Near the shopping district and theater we were attending. The room was big compared to several stuffy hotels in the surrounding area. Well worth a visit.

Going to Club Donatello required a signin. I am guessing that this was for security reasons, but in my mind was rather pointless.

Excellent value for money when I booked early on Booking.com. The hotel is in a great location, only a few minutes walk to Union Square where there is many shops and restaurants. As a guest in a Club Donatello room, we had complementary access to the Spa area. The rooms are spacious and extremely well maintained. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Loved the service and friendliness of staff and the fact that the bed was turned down each evening as well as made up on the morning. Nice to be able to get free coffee in club donatello lounge Great location and would definitely visit again

Location excellent, close to major downtown attractions and shopping. Staff exceptionally attentive to public relations, very friendly and helpful at all times.

Internet access was poor on the 11th floor, the connectivity could not be maintained after a couple of minutes. The hair dryer was very ineffective, not strong. The soundproofing poor - exterior noises obious and distrubing to sleep at night. It appears the windows are old and not sound proof.

Room was very well serviced, staff were friendly and the evening entertainment in the bar area was very pleasant.

The absence of a swimming pool was a deficiency.

This room was actually for my parents since my husband and I booked our room through the timeshare (not the first time) & my parents loved it there as much as we do! My husband and I got married in Golden gate park last week & we could not think of a better place to stay since we always love staying there. I can honestly say this is by far the best hotel in San Francisco and it is right next to union square. No need for a car when u stay here, everything is easy to get to. The staff are kind, helpful and just absolutely amazing! There is nothing negative to say about this place at all I know you will love it!

My 12 yr old daughter and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights. The staff at The Donatello were exceptionally courteous and helpful, from the room maids to the concierge. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The hotel has that pre ww2 elegant ambience but is not run down at all. Breakfasts were not included in our hotel deal but we found them to be very reasonably priced compared to nearby cafes and opted for the hotel room service. The hotel was even more convenient than we imagined. There were buses at our door, cable cars just a block away and union square barely 2 blocks away. The district is quite populated and safe even later into the night. The rooms are very spacious. The Donatello's normal check out time is 12.00 which is quite generous. However this does mean that check in is later than in many other hotels. The club was a cute and cosy retreat to meet others. We had a fabulous time in S. F. and felt very safe and well-looked after at this hotel. The concierge's recommendations as to how we could make the most of our time in S.F. were spot-on.

We found the Staff to be very friendly, it has a piano bar & resturant which are very pleasent & the location is great, it is also very clean & we had a spacious room which we booked on an on-line special.

I did especially enjoy the club room at the top of the hotel. Very nice.

I did not like the limited computer access. There was only one computer in a closet with no paper. I needed additional sheets of paper and was charged an outrageous fee for the paper.
